Skill Capes vs. Quest Skill Cape
In my opinion skillcapes are mostly hours of tedious, boring work. Quest cape is mostly following well-made storylines to help you solve all the riddles throughout the quest. What for to play if not 4 fun? That's why I think it's up to you, if you like smoe skill why not get a cape? If you like quests why not? Personally I'm for Quest as a proud owner;p

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Time for the Oracle again:if Juna knows about Stone of Jas and Elemental then why Oracle says that the great snake of Guthix(dramatic pause)guards more than she knows? Is there anything left?Maybe the Dragonkin in the same place?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Hey I suddenly got a good idea: Think of one of CE's letters: Chaos, Soahc, Jas. Says nothing. But If Sara isn't god of good but of order and Zammy has a motto strength through chaos, what if Jas=Guthix? Stone of Jas is the only reference of Elder Gods, what if it was just Guthix? Then in 2nd Age Icthlarin would have taken Mahjarrat WITH Dragonkin there to protect Stone, which he now stopped using, then everything would fit. Except for one thing, which tho doesnt argue with it:how Zammy got the Stone in the God Wars? Why dragonkin started abusing it only in 4th Age but not in 2nd? W8ing till February for answers=)

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Possible, though it relies on a lot of loose connections: IF the demon butler came from the same realm as the demons Lucien cursed, IF the place he referenced is in that place (Could it just be a place famous for it's food?), IF the reference to Zamorack drawing allies was not to just Freneskae (sp?), IF the demons that followed Zamorack were drawn to Gielinor by him from that realm (Could have been summoned by, and then betrayed / rebelled against Zaros), IF Lucien summoned demons from the place too (as opposed to just getting some demons that had made it to Gielinor or w/e themselves), IF that realm isn't just the basic realm for summoning demons from (Delrith, Agrith Naar, w/e, plus maybe summoning creatures), IF Lucien is following the same path as Zamorack (for example, he might be going to use the Stone of Jas as a replacement (possibly a better one) for Zaros in Zamoracks path (although how he intends to stab it is anyones guess, lol), and who knows exactly how Zamorack achieved godhood anyway (remembering that he didn't become a god till some time between his banishment from Gielinor and his return, and who knows what he did while he was away)). And of course, the very big IF, Lucien being controlled by the dragonkin. It seems unlikely that he would go to all the trouble he did, when he could have just told his masters where it was and let them get it straight away. That said, I could be wrong about any of these, and your idea is still entirely possible. Well the demon butler mentions the same place and his "demon lords" quite a few times, so I think it is safe to assume that it is the realm demons originate. Also if you ask him about past jobs, he says he's served demon lords before. Then, other demons would also come from the same realm. This is my connection. I think it is correct because there is a lot of evidence. First off, all demons have the same basic look. That would mean they must be similarly related, which probably won't happen if they are from different realms. But looks are deceiving right? Then note that Darklight and Silverlight are strong against any and ALL demons. This is obviously some sort of deficiency in their make-up which allows the sword to penetrate them. Therefore, demons would be related through blood because they all share a similar trait (a bit of taxonomy there). Lucien is following the path of Zamorak. And it is stated clearly during the quest that he will use at least the Staff of Armadyl, although it is obvious that the Stone of Jas is part of his plot. On Zamorak becoming a god, it said that he left RuneScape and returned a god, correct? Something outside of RuneScape must have completed the transformation, perhaps the Stone of Jas? Also, remember that Zamorak's ascendance into godhood was partly accident, since he happened to hit Zaros in the correct spot. This would mean Lucien would need another god's power in order to become a god, which means he is going to attack a god or another deity. This leads me to believe that he will be a big enemy in the Mahjarrat battle up "North", since he will attempt to obtain godhood there. But anyway, back to my demons point. Lucien is controlling the demons, which means he has found a way into a realm of evil. What else is stated as evil? The Dragonkin, so it seems possible that Lucien is unwittingly doing the work of the Dragonkin. Remember the ending scene from WGS? The Dragonkin said they were growing stronger, perhaps because of Lucien's actions? Maybe the Kin can draw power from the Stone of Jas, but it was being shielded in the Guthix Temple. When Lucien teleported it away, the Kin would once again draw strength from it. The shielded Stone has been implied before. Why don't you try finding out the name of that evil demon place? Could help a bit. Read conversations with Movario - he states both Guthix and Saradomin got his powers from the stone, and after that he tries to imply Zammy used it and Lucien would like to. he gives probably most of important statements on the history of the Stone.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
The Dragonkin were enslaved by Jas to take care of the sone. Tho,it's very likely they overused it. That's whyit was taken away from them. Or, possibly, it could be just because Guthix wanted power in order to shape the world.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Both are heroes taller and stronger than other human. Just example to show Bob is more worshipped.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
It talks about ice and a cave, so could possibly be related. Also, if it is sealed, like the CB entrance, it might be unlocked in the spirit realm. There could be a hidden portal somewhere in the area, or may be one in the future. But it wasn't there before, so it was defiantly put there for a reason. Chances are it wont be unlocked until whatever its for is released. Muspah, famous, sleeps with the fishies, if fishies frozen could be... Famous? If he were famous, wouldn't we know about him? Bleh. Makes me think it's an anagram, anyone else? Ewww, possibly. There's so many anagrams these days -.- As to addy drags, read what Evil Dave said in postbag:if there are addy and rune ones then we'll soon have dragon dragons... And to Bob, he is some manifestation of a god, I still think he's in fact Zaros. Why aren't there Arrav shirts or Arrav symbols at chapel? It's possible he'll return to human form to help with dragonkin but nothing more. he has some power of unknown origin, but read WGS in kb-what about the ancient power of gods mahjarrat and dragonkin? If dragonkin took it from Stone then what is connection between mahjarrat, and to gods, as Movario suspects bout Sara and Zammy?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Lucien didn't take part in Ardy quests, save from Temple of Ikov. And how are they supposed to work together when Lucien seemingly tries to KO Zammy just as he did to Zaros?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
In my opinion getting 270 qp is enough to prove you're worthy. The requirements of all the quests show some connections to it- the sequel will tell us what the connections are.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
At first, we have the Edicts of Guthix - 2nd God Wars would cause Guthix to destroy the world and say goodbye to our game=p Secondly, MEP2 and Summer's End listed in quest requirements aren't used at all in the quest. perhaps any ties here in sequel?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
It' possible the Dragonkin had a stronghold in Morytania which became known later as Castle Drakan. We know they're very old race and could've been here b4 Queen Efaritay. This was just not the stronghold shown in Tail of two Cats, as Castle Drakan already had this name in the 4th Age. Anybody noticed this was #147 quest and didn't have the deepest storyline, as Jagex stated? Perhaps a continuation in quest of February? ;)

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
if you draw a line between Ancient Cavern and Castle Drakan in the middle is Asgarnia and in Reldo's book about the first age it said "Not much is known about the hero called by the people of Asgarnia: Robert the Strong." so maby something around falador or barbarian village like the place were they will hise. How about that strange place with the stones with the weird symbols on it which is south of the dwarven mines, north of falador and west of barbarian village? You also need to dig there for some clue scrolls. That place was probably meant tobe the Life Altar in RSC:look at the symbol on the split stone:it's the same sun as used to be on the Life Rune.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
[hide=]Well, after that quest, we DEFINATELY know that the Dragonkin are evil. They speak of bringing pain on the races. And also, that it seems there are only three of them, which matches the three heads in the Dragonkin forge. I'm curious as to which Dragonkin fought Robert the Strong..hmm. '-' So, when you touch the Stone of Jas, you say something rather interesting. Is Jas the Elder God, the creator of the Stone which has the power to elevate Majahrats to Godhood? Why then, has Jas allowed the world's inhabitants to use the stone? Saradomin and Zamorak ascended to Godhood by the ritual using the Stone. But what about Armadyl and Zaros? Bandos? Were these men once Majahrat? And Guthix, who was the first to walk Gielnor? Was Guthix chosen by Jas to maintain balance in Jas' absence? These questions mostly hinge off the fact that Jas was an Elder God, so...feel free to tear my theories to shreds. I'm not exactly the best historian when it comes to RS, let alone actual history...so I might be wrong. ^^[/hide] [hide=]well as you find out in Meeting History the world was created by elder gods, one of them possibly was Jas. He left a stone behind. On purpose? maybe he just forgot it. Im more concerned how V*(velorina or something) touched the stone and became a god. was he a Mahjarrat? Because the stone didn't have such effect on you when you touched it. It just boosted your stats incredibly, nothing of divine power Lucien already possessess (sp?!_)[/hide] [hide=]Jas is probably the Elder God. And dragonkin have the power. But they are much weaker then Jas is, as they are not immortal, that's why they can't be Elder Gods. And Valador didn't become God, he only learned magic just as Mahjarrat(most of them) do-without runes. Agree Lucien did what they intended him to. But just one thing: read Movario's notes and some facts about history: Movario states energy Zamorak got through the staff couldn't be enough to make him God; Zamorak returned to start the God Wars some time after the ban; The Spirit in Spirit Realm tells some story about God Wars: Guthix awoke to reclaim some artifact from Zamorak which made peace on the world. Lucien couldn't become a god without both the Staff of Armadyl and power of The Stone of Jas, seeing that Dragonkin in Robot's pic, maybe they want to take over Gielinor as new, most powerful Gods?[/hide]

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
I think the elder dragons and the dragonkin are the same thing too, but what if the elder gods and the elder dragons are the same thing? They sound similar and we believe the dragonkin once had control of the stone of jas, with the stone of jas I'm sure they'd have enough power to create the world as we know it, or at least change it so drastically that it looked like it had been recreated. But if the elder gods and the dragonkin are the same, how come Robert the Strong managed to kill one? Surely they'd have been immensely powerful? Maybe that particular one was weakened or maybe Robert the Strong was the incarnation of Zaros and that's how he got his power? You have some good points there, but one thing just came into my mind: Guthix doesn't allow any God to be on Runescape, they all have to stay in the God Realm (maybe they can move between realms, but just not Gielenor). So if Bob the cat is Zaros, then why hasn't Guthix come yet to blow him to pieces? Furthermore, Zaros was imprisoned in another dimension when he 'died', so what is he doing walking around on Gielenor? Guthix doesn't allow them to come to Gielinor because of their powers which could cause destruction. But what powers does Bob(Zaros) have now? Sphinx said he has some mark of power but nonetheless all he can do is to walk around. I support the Bob=Zaros theory, tho it has a flaw: how does it then happen that Bob is in love with Neite and has children with Fluffs? Only gods known to be married are the desert Gods, and they're married in their "family"...

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
...There will be Adamant and Runite Dragons... It's a patten used by Jagex to drop the full set of Dragon Armour. 1. Hasn't it all ready been proven that the Dragonkin is a race...? I'm sure it has, and I'm sure they are a race; not a single Mahjarrat. 2. Bod the (Damn) Jagex Cat is NOT Zaros. This a well known fact, proven many times. (I can prove if you reeeallly want me to...) I'd rather not gather the info though :wall: The Dragonkin are not good. Look the the pic (on the first page) of the Varrock Museum exhibit of the Dragonkin; it says "A new terror, the Dragonkin, is a foot blah blah blah) or something like that. Terror means bad. I also think they're rather evil but we have no proof. And about Bob, why is he not Zaros? Speak with him, in one of the conversations is something like Bob saying cats believe they're Guthix, player asking about what does he believe and he replies something like "I don't have to believe because I know I'm Zar..." who then starts with Zar and is after Dragonkin, evil as you claim? And to the dragons, as Evil Dave said in a postbag, then we will soon have dragon dragon! As to them being one of the Mahjarrat, I know it's strange but would fit in some places. It's just a theory.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
I disagree there will be addy and rune drags, then we would get dragon drags too... But I thought about three other things this day;) 1. (I know highly unlikely) the only thing we know for sure about the Dragonkin is that it was one. But only thing that suggests it was a race is what Reldo says. And is Dragonkin were from fourth Age, which would fit better a theory that Robert was the reincarnation of Zaros, that would be the source of his height and strength and Reldo would prove wrong. What if there was only one Dragonkin? Maybe it is just a name for one of the Mahjarrats? They're similarly seemingly immortal. Another piece of evidence is the examine text: not 'One of Creators of Dragons' but just 'Creator of Dragons'. Could it be one of Mahjarrat? It would link those two and connect to the origination of Dragon Weapons, assuming Dragonkin is/are Necrosyrte(s). 2. I'd like to correct one thing: I wrote if Dragonkin fought Zaros in the form of Robert then they could be good. However, Armadyl and Zamorak also wouldn't have much interest in further existence of Zaros. It can either be that they followed Saradomin(the god that came at the same time as Zamorak), Zamorak, who wanted to get rid of Zaros, or Armadyl, as they look bird-like. 3. If the Dragonkin, as stated above, is one of the Mahjarrat, could it possibly connect to the Prophecy of Hazelmere? He said something about fight with Mahjarrat, we know Hazeel, Zemouregal, Lucien, Enakhra, Akthanakos and Azzanadra are coming north, maybe that's when Hazelmere will die, together with five of his 'brothers', and of those eight only 2 would survive, masters of Warrior and Slayer path? It was introduced rather long time ago, maybe the new quest requires this fight? It's been said: deepest storyline, hope it links all those;)

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
That skeleton from the banner isn't Zemouregal. In fact, it's Lucien. You could see this painting of Lucien wielding the Staff of Armadyl(or at least looking the same as Staff of Armadyl from Varrock Museum) at some point of time in 2007, don't remember with which update tho... However, there was a picture of skeleton wielding this staff and now we get communique saying Lucien managed to get the staff. So regardless of whether you killed him or not he manages to obtain the staff and after that we get a banner with skeleton wielding that... Weird, isn't it?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
I think the opinion of Tip.iter before me wasn't completely true since as far as I am concerned Lucien was one of the Mahjarrat participating in the attack on Zaros's castle. And to Your article, great job =D> You realised one thing which I would like to make a bit longer. I am as sure of it as in my opinion we may be. As it's been spotted before, Bob the Jagex Cat was Robert the Strong during the earlier Ages. We know that in his previous life Bob fought Dragonkin. But who is Bob? According to what I read, In one of the possible dialogues he says "In fact, I am Zar...".In some other,he says anti-Zamorak sentences to the player's cat. It can, but doesn't have to, imply he is Zaros in fact. As one of the readers said, the Dragonkin don't have to be evil actually. And if Bob(and at the same time Robert the Strong) is actually the reincarnation of Zaros The Empty Lord, The True God of Evil, can that imply that Dragonkin weren't evil? Maybe that was Robert who wanted just to make up his own business? Could it be that Dragonkin are in fact the Elder Dragons(as they created all of them) and Zaros wanted to destroy Gielinor? But how does it connect to The Godstaff of Armadyl? And what were Dragonkin trying to achieve when their experiments went wrong and mithril dragons were created? I suppose we can find out about it on Wednesday, earlier would be nice tho ;) In hope I was helpful, Kiel66
