  1. Yeah, I found that odd too. Jagex oughta explain that in a sequel.
  2. Not necessarily It could be because the destruction of that castle happened before that of the deaths of the farmer family (wich is as I believe the time of the spirit realm)
  3. I would put the entire conversation in it if i knew how to paste those pics together... Tryin to work on that now EDIT: found it. I'll post it in a few minutes EDIT 2: here it is: [hide=][/hide]
  4. this is what I found on a wiki but it might be incorrect ;) I've got even better information, straight from the game itself: This is told by Viggora (the final ghost in the ghostly robes miniquest): So anyway, Lord Zamorak and his trusted compatriots, namely myself, Hazeel, Drakan, Thammaron and Zemouregal made plans to overthrow our lord using the god-weapon, and by pledging allegiance to Zamorak as our master, were each to be given a large piece of land as our own in return. We decided to move immediately, before anyone got cold feet, or any other parties could interfere in our works, and made haste towards the castle where our Lord lived. If Lucien had not been otherwise occupied, he would have probably accompanied us with his magicks, but it turned out the foolish Dhalak had made his involvement unnecessary with some spells of his own allowing us to get close to the castle with the staff without the Empty Lord being able to sense its presence.
  5. I have found some new information: After Zamorak impaled both him and Zaros and got his power, he was banished by the other Gods. He returned later to Gielinor with his godly powers fully developped. So it might have been during this period that Zamorak used the Stone of Jas. Also, Lucien actually didn't help during the rebellion against Zaros. It is also never mentioned that he follows Zamorak (correct me if I'm wrong).
  6. Movario is talking about "it's power"(the Stone of Jas's power, as referred to in the previous dialogues). How does it fit in?
  7. I'm back after a couple of wild days (*sigh*) to post some new stuff. To start off with the GWD frozen door: an interesting thing about it is that the symbols light up if you wear something from the god wich the symbol represent, but the door still won't budge. Now about Prifddinas: though it is still unlikely that the Dragonkin could reside there, the KBD did mention something about a seal. From the plague city quest soryline we know that the library in it is sealed off (with 9 seals, of wich 1 has been broken). Could be a link. This cleerly points out that somehow Zamorak used the Stone of Jas to become a God. But we thought untill now that he just used the Staff of Armadyl and Zaros's power to become one. Any idea's?
  8. First of all, the image you saw of Hazelmere holding the seed pod during While Guthix Sleeps was a flashback to when he used its last charge to save your life in Path of Glouphrie. He chose to use that pod to save you then, and as such he could not use it to save his own life now. That was his choice. Secondly, that find in the quest guide is terrific! I for one never read those... so I would never have found that piece of information! That was very clever of Jagex to hide something like that in the quest journal, but you caught them! Great job =D> I beat the system! That about Hazelmere makes all perfect and logic sence to me now. Thanks for cleering that up. You might want to add the name of the first human who found the Stone somewhere in your thread. His name was Vudisor.
  9. I think the new Black Elite and Dagon'hai robes should be added too. Dagon'hai robes can't even be gotten after the quest (except through the ge) as far as i know.
  10. I have reread The Fall of Six and have found no mention of Drakan. Perhaps I missed something? I just reread it too and you are right. However it is stated that the events took place during the God Wars. I'm also pretty shure that Drakan got Morytania from Zamorak as a gift for his help in the betrayal of Zaros and that he got it right after that. Where does it say that though? I mean I believe you but I would like to look over that information myself. Also since both the history on the Runescape website and the Varrock Musuem link Robert the Strong to the 4th age, what evidience is there to support that it was earlier? I got my information from the runescape wikipedia. Not shure where they got it from though. Appereantly it was stated somewhere in A Tail of Two Cats, that Robert the Strong lived in the First Age. This might have been changed by Jagex, or a mistake on this topic so we need a recent transcript from that quest to be absolutely certain of that.
  11. I have reread The Fall of Six and have found no mention of Drakan. Perhaps I missed something? I just reread it too and you are right. 12. The exact quote is: "I've seen a vision by touching the strange orb. It has communicated to me that it is 'The Stone of Jas', owned by Jas, and protected by creatures he has enslaved for the purpose - the Dragonkin. One of the first of the Fremmenik tribe touched the stone and it changed them drastically...this is how they became the Lunar mages" Darkmeyer is supposed to be another city in Morytania as stated in the Leather Book, wich is found in the Paterdomus temple library.
  13. Drakan has been in Morytania since the Third Age, as stated in The Fall of Six, of wich the events took place in the Third Age
  14. I have found something after reading through the quest log from While Guthix Sleeps after doing the quest. It says that Jas enslaved the Dragonkin to guard the Stone of Jas. Also something concerning Hazelmere (spoiler warning): [hide=]At the end of Path of Glouphrie, during his prophecy, he says the following: "Of the eight, only two shall return; one represents the path of Slayer and one the path of the warrior. This might have been different, but I have made my choice, and it is up to you to prove that I made the right one." Right before he dies in While Guthix Sleeps he says that he still holds on to that choice. He could have survived but he didn't because of that choice. So what was that choice?[/hide] And yes, I've heard of Darkmeyer, but I think that would involve the Drakan family instead of the Dragonkin.
  15. Out of the evidence in this tread it is more likely that Tolna's dungeon was created by Zaros (or His influence), since the digsite was formerly known as Senntisten and it was a Zarosian temple. EDIT: GRANDMASTER QUEST IS HERE! not enough herblore and mage though
  16. We need some recent transcripts of A Tail of Two Cats to check the age of the events. If we assume that it happened during the fourth age, then the Dragonkin have not been mentioned before that right? This could mean that after the third age, the Mahjarrat took on a new body (=Dragonkin) to hide (from Saradominists perhaps). Some more evidence comes from Zanaris. The fairy in Zanaris marketplace mentions D weapons came from Freneskae, this might mean Dragonkin and Mahjarrat both come from Freneskae, but it is never mentionned that both arrived togheter when Icthlarin brought them to Gielinor. The fact that Wyrms are extinct is just because no living (or dead) NPC has seen them in thousands of years. They might be assumed extinct just like the Dragonkin
  17. Now that you mention it. Here's what the RS wikipedia has to say about wyrms: (it's interesting) The Wyrms are the ancient ancestors of dragons that went extinct several thousand years ago. Due to evolution and heavy involvement in the God Wars, wyrms no longer exist. Wyrms were far stronger than dragons, and were often used as riding animals in the God Wars. A single wyrm was capable of destroying massive cities and wiping out entire armies, making them invaluable assets to those that were able to tame them. This was not an easy task, though; wyrms were incredibly difficult to control, and those that rode them, the Dragon Riders, were highly valued by their masters. They were even used by Zaros as personal bodyguards. By the end of the God Wars, the wyrms' heavy involvement in combat had left their race decimated. With little prey remaining, climate shifts occuring in many locations, and perhaps other unknown changes, the few remaining wyrms evolved into the dragons that inhabit Gielinor today. Some, however, did not fully evolve, such as the Brutal Green Dragons that inhabit the Ancient Cavern beneath Baxtorian Falls. So this says that Brutal Green Dragons are still part Wyvern. This could mean there might be 'fuller' Wyvern hiding in that place.
  18. i'm pretty shure that this 'north' is not Freneskae, since it's another dimension. Interesting theory about the Dragonkin=Mahjarrat though. Speaking of LOTR, the Wyrm in BFME 2 is some sort of a big snake that can tunnel and has half his body underground. I have never seen any wings on it. The rift in the desert is the Evil Genie's cave from Spirits of the Elid quest. No connection (this quoting shure is complicated for a forum newb)
  19. actually, Bob could still be Zaros, since Zaros and Robert lived in different ages.
  20. My first post on the forums contains a theory i have been thinking about for a while. Since the quest is about the Staff of Armadyl, Lucien, the Dragonkin and possibl the Stone of Jaz, these things have to be connected in some way. What if the Dragonkin are extinct or trapped somewhere. And someone (like Lucien) is trying to ressurect/free them. Out of the Dragonkin symbol (or what we think it is) the Stone of Jaz is somehow linked to the Dragonkin. It could be the key to bring them back. As for the Staff, I'm not really shure. Although it might give some kind of a spark wich will start the whole proces. Great thread btw, looking forward to the quest release
