It all depends on the teacher. The AP stats class at my high school was one of the hardest classes at the school. However, the normal stats class wasn't that hard from what I hear. You really ought to take calculus though because you will have to take it in college if you are going into just about any field outside of liberal arts.

I'm not saying irreligion is harmful, I'm saying that a moderate religious life would probably be more beneficial to society than irreligion if that religion's core values include helping the less fortunate, supporting others, etc. I'm not one to agree with Pie, but I think he nailed this one. Although, an irreligious society would have those compassionate people, but it is much more likely for a religious society to be more so compassionate.

Some churches give their money and resources to efficient charities. The previous churches that I have attended generally have not had programs that support the church. It usually supports the people in the local community as well as the global community.

This statement is so wrong on so many levels.

What happens if there really is a place such as Heaven and Hell, or maybe reincarnation and Karma exist. The only way that I will be able to save myself from Hell or being reincarnated into a dandelion would be to believe. Is that logical or not?

There is a reason to believe though.

It is a little bit of both. First, the bible says that it is wrong to be homosexual. (God killed all of the gays for being gay in Sodom and Gomorrah) Secondly, I lived with a gay guy one summer, and he was a very very bad first impression on the gay community. I know that there are some really nice gay people out there (I've even met a few), but ever since I met that one guy, I just haven't liked them. Then again, I just think some guy shoving his dick into some other guys [wagon] is just gross.

Nor can you attribte it to religion... As much as I cringe when I hear it, there ARE churches and such forth that allow gays and even have gay preachers.

Which is understandable. They all have the same general message though, and that is what most people take out of it. An example of something in the bible that I do not take literally are the books of law in the old testament. There are some things that were meant for a different time period than we live in now.

My beliiefs are that being homosexual is wrong, but that doesn't mean that I (being a religious person) am going to go out of my way to be unkind to them (or God forbid kill them). I bet that there are also non-religious people that hate gays, hate religious people, and other immoral things.

I'm not familiar with the Catholic bible, so could you explain the "4 different gospels that also contradict themselves?" The Gospels are the same (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) because there is only Bible. Jona is referring to the fact that the 4 gospels offer contradictory accounts of Jesus' life and deeds and so on, owing to the fact they were composed by different authors across some decades (I forget how many) and with what I presume were different sources. I mean, I've read all 4 of those books in a normal bible, but I fail to truly see any contradictions. It isn't like they were all written by the same person, so there should *obviously* be some kind of variation.... If there was no difference, why would you even have all 4 of those books? Even if there are contradictions, it isn't like science is perfect either. Don't get me wrong, most science is generally accurate, but the kind of science that is being discussed is more theoretical than anything.

Nope. I'm going to summer school.... So, I'm going to be taking classes on Tuesday and Thursdays (instead of Wednesday and Monday now). Also, just changed the tail light on my car.

I have leech seed, stealth rocks, giga drain, and trick on it. I can use it as a lead, or I can use it as a stall breaker. Anything with leftovers, a choice item, or Eviolite really do not want that sticky barb lol. In other news... I go back to school on Wednesday. <_<
