RuneScape Information

  1. No, no, no. Let me compare those for you. Rune Platebody is significantly superior in all defence but Slash (and even then, it's only +5 greater on Torso). I've seen the numbers posted by other users, and assuming 6 hours to get the Torso, you need over 1000 hours worth of training for the tiny strength bonus to be better. That and I myself (when I was 89 Defence) found I was using too much food, even with a Bunyip with a Fighter Torso and Dragon Legs combo. So either use a Barrows (Dharok/Guthan/Torag) Platebody, Verac's Brassard, or stick with the cheap and functional Rune Platebody. Neitiznot against D Med D Med wins slightly in 4 out of 6 Defensive Bonuses, however the +3 Strength and Prayer Bonus of the Neitiznot Helm means it is superior. I didn't say it was the best, I said it was "pretty nice." Just an option :). Fighter torso works fine for me, not for everyone though. Great post though :P.
  2. A fighter torso from the minigame "Barbarian Assault" is also pretty nice. It has about the same defence as a rune platebody, with a strength bonus. Nezzy helm has a strength bonus and looks better than a dragon med :).
  3. There's always the nice caged ogres at the lathas camp :). You would use bronze knives, any armor really (void, dhide, w/e) and they drop ranarr and snap seeds which pay for your knives :D. Note: Knives are already cheap as it is, at 14 gp each :P.
  4. Lol thanks for the ideas everyone :). Yeah hunting would be obvious I guess but meh. I'll try farming and maybe some slayer ;).
  5. You sell their hides, and the dragon bones they drop. You can kill them in the wilderness near clan wars, falador and wherever else. Also you can kill them in the chaos tunnels (my spot of choice :]) but there are baby black dragons that can attack you as well there because it is multi combat.
  6. No really though. I'm looking for ideas, just for fun. Ranged, Magic, and crafting have put me a little dry and I'm just seeing if there are any good options. Stats: Combat: 109+6 Attack: 85 Strength: 86 Defence: 85 HP: 94 Ranged: 99 Magic: 99 Prayer: 70 Summoning: 52 Cooking: 70 Woodcutting: 82 Fletching: 99 Fishing: 78 Firemaking: 83 Smithing: 60 Mining: 64 Crafting: 96 Herblore: 60 Agility: 60 Thieving: 78 Slayer: 65 Farming: 65 RC: 60 Construction: 60 Hunter: 99 Sorry I don't have it all in a nice little sig, :/ lol. I've done green dragons, they're do-able but I would do something else If i could. So yeah, any ideas, thanks :).
  7. Fire Wave or Blast or whatever people use at steel/iron dragons. I hate this because I never get drops but hey if you like it, go for it.
  8. Yeah sorry. You can use thieving to uh... Ok thieving sucks.
  9. Okay but how much rune and dragonhide could you buy quickly and cost efficient if nobody trained crafting and smithing...
  10. I used grey chins all the way from 85-99 but It might of cost more because of the extra amount of chins I had to use. I'd say just use red, they're low enough at the moment :P.
  11. The SC needles for crafting last for about 40k-50k exp each I forget the exact number. So it'd be a lot of needles, but yeah if you like the game I'd suggest doing it too :P.
  12. I'm not sure if 30M will quite get you from 82 crafting to 99, tbh. It wouldn't even get you 99 if you did green d'bodies, but GL on high crafting :D!
  13. Definatley Full void, ranger boots, ava's accumulator and fury amulet. I wouldn't suggest chinning until 85+ because your lack of high hits with chins will decrease the amount of exp your getting per chin, costing you more than you though ;o. I'm not sure how many chins from 80-99, but it's definatley not 20k. It'd be more ~40-50k red chins and ~70k grey chins. But I Haven't chinned since July :/.
  14. Yeah. Green D'hide bodies give 186 exp ea. They're expensive though. If you buy the hides and tan then yourself it's ~440 loss per body but if you buy them tanned it's ~850 loss ea. It's quite fast exp, I'd say 200k P/h easy. So if you buy them tanned, from around 80 it'll be ~50M :P.
