Similarly, how does someone logging into a spot a few minutes earlier make them any more deserving of the spot than someone else? There is no first-come-first -serve basis here, unlike in queues and such when people have already agreed upon that. Can you imagine.... OK, it will never happen, but try to imagine.... an RS where people DIDN'T STEAL SPOTS. Where they HOPPED every single time. And you might not like the hopping, but once you found an open spot, you KNEW that it was yours until you left it. Wouldn't everyone be much happier? No flaming? No spot stealing xp reducing crap? It'd do, quelmotz. It'd do. Jagex has slightly more than 150 worlds now. Even if we round it up to 200, don't tell me that 200 spots for the WHOLE RuneScape population is enough, especially at peak hours. Even if we triple or quadruple that to account for multiple spots within an area, that's still ridiculous compared to the demand. Would everyone be much happier? No, I'm sorry - everyone would be feeling frustrated for having to switch worlds for hours on end whereas a lucky guy gets an empty spot on his first or second try.

Wow, have you gotten past primary school education (ok, that should be your lower grades or whatever)? Don't you even know the difference between claims and evidence?

Can't you just move the freaking scroll-bar thingy at the side of the browser? Seriously, stop being a petty [wagon] - how long does it take to skip past those posts?

1. This is a public forum. 2. You aren't an administrator/moderator. 3. You aren't even the OP. What makes you think you have the right to stop them from doing that?

Hypocrite much? At least my threads are actually driven by something that annoys me about Runescape and are actually supported by some other people here and have *some* evidence to back them up... "some" evidence? You mean next to zero? It's better to make a thread worthy of intelligent people making intelligent criticisms than a thread with 100 idiots supporting. What makes you think that this issue doesn't annoy the OP? Seriously, at least the OP replies in a civilised manner, whether he tries to act condescending or not, unlike idiots like you who can't seem to post without resorting to swearing.

I only give out respect to those who deserve it. The guy was trying to take my spot, he had no respect for me so I justly reciprocated. If you are going to uphold the ideal of might makes right you shouldn't go cry when you are bested. I quite simply have no sympathy. Remember though, I always try put my best foot forward first. I fully expect you to quietly walk out of your house as someone attempts to rob your stuff. Protip: self-defense is not a crime. Vengeance can be. Fixed. Very high standards of English indeed. You even confuse such simple terms.

Sorry, I knew I was forgetting someting, I don't really like that game (but I can't deny it's of amazing qaulity). I guess I'm a RunEscape to FunOrb migrant too. I agree that FunOrbs's community is close-knit, and that's one of the main reason I had a long session of Brick-a-Brac, most of the people in the lobby knew at least three other people. I was just joking. If everyone expects you to list all their favourite games you might as well copy the whole list of games from somewhere and cut out a few like 36 card trick and that monkey game and some others. Was that sarcasm? ... No, I'm serious.

 Why wasn't Steel Sentinels mentioned? Ok, on topic, I agree fully. I myself more-or-less quitted RS, though sometimes I still go back to do the Holiday quests or for the sake of nostalgia. I am an active FunOrb player though, so you could say I was one of the RS-to-FunOrb migrants. It is difficult to straight-out quit RuneScape, but if you quit gradually like I did, slowly devoting more and more of your attention to other things, it isn't really painful. Especially if you're just moving to FunOrb. I took at least a year to "quit" RuneScape, and I still haven't cut all the strings of attachment to it. I still post a lot on these forums, and I went back recently to try out the Dungeoneering skill, which I liked, but I didn't feel like going back to RuneScape again. FunOrb's community can be really close-knit, especially within multiplayer games. I have lots of friends in Steel Sentinels, and it is much easier to get close to them. In the huge RuneScape world, you'll probably not meet a friend again unless you both love a minigame/training at a particular place, and even so, it is rare for you to meet considering the huge range of activities available. FunOrb, on the other hand, often only draws players to a few games they really like. I am only truly active in Steel Sentinels, though I play Arcanists once in a blue moon, and I used to be active in Bachelor Fridge and Kickabout League. And within each game there really isn't much space for you to NOT meet. You can EASILY arrange a meeting (no need to teleport around, run around, etc), and even without prior arrangements, you'll most likely meet coincidentally every few games or something.

I'm quite sure he wasn't stupid enough to report anyone who cursed. He'd waste his entire playing time if he does that. The word obscene already suggests that the offender was not just playing a fool/venting frustration or anything, and that he had an intent to bully/harass/whatever. You dont know that, and i wouldnt be surprised if he did. Again this isnt just raw anger this is years of observation. They act like their the police when in reality their a security guard. Oh, so your "years of observation" suddenly give you a right to impose stereotypes on the people or things you've observed? You're an ignoramus. It was sarcasm. But maybe if Jagex didnt do this whole thing about how their bot detection is amazing, blablabla and didnt rely 100% on player reports and random events i would not have included that part in my post. So where's your evidence? You're probably one of those [bleep]s who got muted by a mod or something. Your fun? So it's fun for the other player to be bullied/harassed? You might be able to deal with it because you're a [bleep] who does it yourself, but others don't, so quit being a selfish [wagon]. lol I have in 06 for typing "you tube" and i think "my space" ingame, that was my only time i got muted. And no even if i WAS bulling and harassing people doing that is less detrimental to their gameplay then getting your account locked or muted. The punishment is much worse then the crime and most mods have no understanding of that. So in affect their the selfish ones, putting their ambition of the silver crown over other peoples ability to play the game. Your whole account is virtual for god's sake. If you're so emotionally attached to it, then you shouldn't be doing things against the rules in the first place. On the other hand, cyberbullying doesn't just cause virtual effects. I have an irl friend that became a mod, worst example of one too. He got the crown by reporting lots of people some got banned for putting dam instead of damn even! i mean the stuff is just silly, and i hate to think how many peoples gameplay this kid alone ruined. There is always corruption in any organisation of power or influence. Don't tell me you don't know that. Like ive said in a previous post though. I dont hate all mods, just the ones willing to ruin other peoples gameplay for their selfish gain. The fact that jagex DOES look for reports as part of recruitment verifies that some or a lot are worth my dislike. I hate corrupt mods too, but it's ridiculous to vent your anger at all mods in a stereotypical manner like you did just because of a few of the corrupt ones. Tl;dr reporting people for minor offenses ruins the persons you reported's gameplay and is selfish. Jagex gives people who excel at this a silver crown and the ability to mute. Therefor i dislike them.

Apparently he fails at vocabulary. In any case, you're a petty [wagon] who has too much time on your hands so you make pointless rants or rants with absurd arguments, trying to get people to agree with your sad point of view to boost your e-go.
-
Is the AT MOST few milliseconds you get slowed down by every run worth the time coming to tip.it, making a rant, and wasting even more time defending yourself? Honestly, unless it's something that's causing you great trouble, don't bother wasting your time making a rant - you'll waste at least half an hour doing it, and defending yourself. That's about the time you get slowed down in probably a thousand runs?

A high level.....with manners?! Seriously, just quit with this [cabbage]. Don't think we can't see that you're purposely trying to emphasise any little post that supports you even though your argument has been ripped apart hundreds of times, and the majority disagrees with your point completely. You're exactly right  (no joke) But just because it's the majority doesn't make it right, like if the majority says abortion is wrong, I'll still argue because I believe in choice. Firstly, there's no majority in an issue like abortion. At least where I live anyway. Secondly, you ignored the first part about your argument being ripped apart hundreds of times. In this case, the majority has a basis on which they disagree. It isn't a PURELY subjective issue anymore. ----- It amuses me when people talk about RuneScape not being real life, etc etc. Suppose you were in a DVD shop, looking at a shelf of DVDs. Someone comes up to you and takes a bunch of DVDs. "You [bleep]! You don't have a right to steal my DVDs!!" In this case, the DVDs basically represent the health of the monster. Someone is "killing" "your" shelf by taking DVDs off it. It's not your property, you're simply interacting with it. Because that's basically what people like the OP are talking about. You don't OWN the monsters, you're merely present and interacting with them. So what gives you a right to scream at someone to get lost on the premises that you were there first (am I blind, or did I miss the first-come-first-serve sign at the door?), and it supposedly doesn't take a long time to switch to another world (another DVD shop)? Granted, you'll point out the fact that other shelves will not have anyone browsing the DVDs if my analogy is a somewhat accurate representation of what happens in RS. But even if all the shelves had identical DVDs, and there were no one browsing the other 99 shelves in the shop, does that mean the person has some sort of a moral obligation to not take DVDs from your shelf? Of course not.
