slight update...

you get a lot more satisfaction out of this:P I've done brushing before for some of my pencil sketches, and I can say definately that I feel a lot more satisfied from doing this even if it's driving me crazy at them moment :P

heh... i can't really dither, when i try it looks like poop... i only use it to blend in two different shades so it looks abit more smooth...

sure, anyone can give a go at colouring it if they really want to.

It looks nice, the shield seems to be curving outwards though, making it seem like he's holding it on the wrong side, and the nose bit on the drag med seems to be curving a bit too much.

couldn't quite get the wings how i wanted so just gonna start colouring it...

i like the second one a lot better, it has more character. Arms are a bit on the long side, and for the size of the character you depicted you can usually leave out the mouth and no one really notices. I think the edges on the moat is a bit too smooth. Anyway the highlights on the robes seem to be working nicely. heh... can't really give a more indepth review, not experienec enough in this yet.

heh... looks pretty nice, the stone wall looks very nice. but the arms of the guy on the left seem to stretch on a bit :P 7/10 heh... can't really help with pricing as i never put up any of my sigs for sale before.

heh... a bit off from colouring yet. Planning on adding some metal wings to the back, can already see those two lines where i started :P

edited the sword a bit more to my liking.

heh... most of the line works i've done takes about 10-15mins to finish, this one took almost an hour :P It is quite bigger than the one's i've done so far... but I did went over this one quite a few times, so it doesn't look too awkward :P

I got bored drawing all those little sigs so i thought i'd make something bigger :P the line work's not quite finish yet, but it's almost done. ----=========---- as always, c/c appreciated. This is the 'finish' version now, i know the cape is missing a chunk on the bottom and you can't even tell that he's holding a flag on the left hand, but the character is bascially done and those other things i'll slowly add over time. comments?

Practice makes perfect they say... who ever they are :shock: ... so keep practicing the new style and it'll get better... assuming the above statement is correct that is. :wink:

I like this alot, especially the water and the grass. but maybe fixed the leg armour a bit? it looks like blues pants with kneedpads :P And the armband on the kiteshield is a bit too thick i think.

anyway, i've finish colouring in the character now.

hehe... i know this is still in progress, but i don't know if you notice or not, the telephone pole and wires just stoped at where the cat is. If not maybe draw another pole or two so it runs across the whole sig? :P

I guess it does kinda seems out of place.... i really like the red :P originally it was just going to be plain with the eyes... then i remember how some clowns look, so it just went... "hey let's do it like that" :P about the skin tone... i was going to the 'barrowish' look, but i guess it didn't quite work out as it made him look kind of like a wuss :P anyway, a bit more colour. tried a bit of dittering on the back of the cape.

anyway, started to colour this in... seems i am having a bit of difficulties with direction of light source, so any tips on that would be appreciated. also i've incluede the arrow there for reference.
