The OP is a bunch of bull, complaining a over a whole bunch of nothing. The snide remarks direct at her friend sound more like jealousy than a complain about her not being fat enough. How many people actually gets insulted for being fit and healthy. If you're freakishly thin the insults fly your way just as often if you're really fat. Personally I have never seen anyone getting heckled for dating a skinny person. The point about wanting to gain weight but unable to is valid though, people generally look at you strange when you tell them that, personally I'd just tell them to go check for worms. On another note, posting an article without providing the link annoys me.

This sounds nice, but isn't 300*150 400*175 and 500*250 a bit much? Bigger doesn't mean better, it just means alot more efford for those who take it seriously instead of just putting large blotches of colours as the background. Something along the lines of 100*100 or 150*150 would allow people to concentrate more of their effords on a smaller area.

Thanks for the comments, and rest assure that this will most definately be my lost topic regarding this... for now! :twisted: What's going with the top of the head, and the other places where you only see a hint of the shape is because I don't really know what to do there, so it was better to do somether rather than leaving it empty or just a thick block. I guess some spots are a bit shiny... What's rh hair? anyway it's not really hair at all but rather a piece of cloth :P here's a small update, hope it looks better.

paint. comes with every windows package. good luck :) paint is the tool of the devil... There are quite a few programs that's specifically taylor for this, though the one I usually use is GraphicsGale(because there's a free version :thumbsup: )

I worked on this again... It looks finish, but I'd propably work on it again in a later time... anyway...

I made brick once.... That's a pretty nice bowl, quite suited for holding random knick-knacks

Now now people, there's no need to be so hostile :shame: remember what they say about winning an argument on the internet is like, of course this raises the question of what does that make of the person who lost an argument on the internet.... As Terley have said, it's not just about using low amount of colours, it's more about using the right amount, having unnecessary colours and shades that are too close together is just a waste. Now something that's actually on topic, the girl looks quite nice, but the shirt seems a bit too featureless... making the boobs looking a bit fake, a bit of crests on the shirt would propably help and the darker outline colour might be helpful for this. The thing the really stands out is the left feet, the legs seems to go about in the same direction yet in the end the left feet suddenly twists around in an almost 90 degree angle making it look like someone chop it off and place it there. May placing it in about the same position as the right feet might look better, though a bit stiff, it's less disturbing than a broken ankle :P Anyway, here's a rough sketch of what I mean. keep up the good work

haha... a silent 'G' :lol: awesome stuff, especially the leaves. but the trunks are a bit flat and kind of makes them look like a fold out story book :P

Very nice as always Gs, I especially like those rocks and the characters. The trees on the left seems a bit off though, they look somewhat slanted instaed 'top down'.

Awesome work, the arms are looking great :D though gotta say, he doesn't seem to have any wrists and that hilt seems awfully thin... :P

just finishing off the forehead, haven't started on any touch ups yet, though the nose is less straight now.
