  1. My friend mentioned that you can use the ring of slaying to access the room right before Tarn's Lair without even completing/attempting Tarn's Lair Mini game. I'm not sure if this is true or not as i currently don't have the ability to craft rings of slaying and cannot afford a ring of slaying.
  2. The Terror Guard levels 100 and 110 at Tarns Lair drop Mist runes (3) which are not mentioned on it's Bestiary. I just did Tarns Lair Mini game today after lots of confusion and annoyance from the traps and monsters.
  3. It's not mentioned in the Bestiary but the Kalphite Workers level 28 but the workers do drop Green Charms more then the other charms. However Kalphite workers drop charms less frequently then most monsters. I've only received about 10 charms for around 160 kills in my slayer assignment
  4. Yeah I see what you meant now, I don't see why not. I think you would have to mention it in the Spelling,Grammar and Corrections sections though in order for Tip.it to change the one which says 'Slayer Tower-North Of Canifis' Well Spotted
  5. Hmm, That's interesting I've had quite a lot of these as Slayer Assignments and the only charms I ever received where Gold
  6. Just found another drop which isn't mentioned on the Bloodveld's (76) Bestiary They drop Strawberry Seed (3) By the way the Red&Black Mystic gloves were not dropped from the Bloodvelds, I got that from random killing of a Skeletal Hand Strawberry Seed (3) Drop [hide=][/hide] Strawberry Seed (3) Close Up [hide=][/hide] Again, I'll post any more information regarding drops if there is anything new not yet known
  7. I've had Bloodveld's for three or four different slayer assignments. So just now I came across a new drop which isn't mentioned in the Bloodveld's Bestiary. This is the first time I've ever had this drop from a Bloodveld but they defiantly drop Smoke Rune (3) Smoke Rune (3) Drop [hide=][/hide] Smoke Rune (3) Drop-Close Up [hide=][/hide] EDITED: One thing I forgot to mention I was at Meiyerditch Caverns if that helps you at all I hope this helps out the Bestiary, I will post any more new drops if there is any :)
  8. Oh right, Never realised someone already posted something about this
  9. Today I only just realised that Jagex had recently released two new potions for the Herblore, Crafting and Fletching Skills. After searching through the three guides I came across how to make the potions in the Herblore Skill guide. So I checked to see if they have been added to the Crafting and Fletching Skill guides underneath Skill Boosts and nothing has changed there. So I decided to take some time out from the game and do some research into the potions and to provide some screen shots. Name:Crafting Potion Herblore Level:42 Herblore Experience:95 Herb Needed:Wergali Second Ingredient Needed:Frog Spawn Boost:+3 Crafting Levels Name:Fletching Potion Herblore Level:58 Herblore Experience:132 Herb Needed:Wergali Second Ingredient Needed:Wimpy Feather Boost:+3 Fletching Levels Frog Spawn Fishing Locations [hide=][/hide] Wergali Potion (unf) This unfinished potion is required to make both the Crafting and Fletching Potions [hide=][/hide] Crafting Potions Doses (1),(2),(3),(4) [hide=][/hide] Wimpy Bird Locations [hide=][/hide] Fletching Potions Doses (1),(2),(3),(4) [hide=][/hide] I hope the information is helpful to update the Fletching and Crafting guides underneath Skill Boosts. I will post more information when I gather more research
  10. These was one of the rewards from the new update Jagex released earlier last week. There are quite a few new PVP only items recently released by Jagex. If you however obtain any of these they cannot be sold on the Grand Exchange but you may sell them to 'Mandrith' in Edgeville or his brother 'Nastroth' in Lumbridge. The two brothers will only appear on a PVP world. viewtopic.php?f=186&t=798673 http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=1940
  11. I noticed the Crawling Hand (12) Bestiary states that it drops Gold Charms more common then others.I think that all the Crawling Hand Bestiary's should be changed to just dropping gold charms unless this it can confirmed that they drop other charms as well as Gold. If this is the case then they profiles for each of the Crawling Hands should be changed to 'Drops mostly Gold charms as compared to other charms, as mentioned with the (12) Crawling Hands.
  12. I've just had three slayer assignments and all the charms I received where Gold charms. In the bestiary it mentions that the Crawling Hands can drop (1) of every charm. I've killed well over 500+ Crawling Hands in the past and always received Gold Charms from these monsters. All I picked up from the Crawling Hand drops were all the charms and money as the other drops aren't exactly important to me but items like the Crawling Hand, Dragon Spear and Shield Left Half (Dragon) I would have picked up. Bestiary Search http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2mo ... s=crawling I've provided a image below hopefully this will confirm my research into charm drops from the Crawling Hands I'm finally getting used to uploading pictures and posting them on here
  13. yeah I still think it's worth noting in the summoning guide somewhere near the pets section of the guide. After all to stop people fighting really high monsters with rare pets on them like the god birds, vultures and dragons. This has happened to me quite a few times but now I know not to take pets with me especially when fighting high level monsters
  14. Do you mean either the mouse toy or the toy mouse? Mouse Toy http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=4287 Toy Mouse http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=6663
  15. I don't see the pet care guide anymore, but I did find it... http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=kitten_care.htm. There is a notation about death costing you a pet follower there. I also noticed that there isn't any mention in that guide about the cat toy thing (mouse toy) that looks like a whip when you're carrying it. The guide might have been taken away because it might not be easy to keep up-to-date anymore. Still, since the summoning guide does mention pets and followers, it should either link to that other guide or include the information there redundantly, in my opinion. I forgotten and failed to check the Pet Care guide. Yeah I've seen it clearly mentions about death will result in you losing your pet. When you say something about 'Cat toy thing' do you mean the Clockwork cat?
  16. Sorry Sports Guy I seemed to have made a mistake,I was meant to say the special attack bar not a special energy bar goes down. I did this by having my Barrel chest Anchor wielded and by using the different passages from each of the prayer books in turn and noted that the bar goes down a 1/4 or 25% of the way down. Sorry for any confusion I may have seemed to cause
  17. I noticed how the guide fails to mention about losing pets on death I have lost about three squirrels and two cats in the past due to death and having the pet following me at that time. I think it would great to mention this in the guide in case anyone does die while they have a familiar/pet with them. The only other methods of losing your pet is to let it get too hungry and it runs away or you dismiss it so it will never come back.
  18. I'm not trying to take credit for anything the original poster of this thread. I'm just trying to help out all I can. Anyway I did some research myself into the Exact amount of energy used for each passage of the books. The special energy bar goes down by a 1/4 which is equal to 25% of the bar every time you use one of the special passages from any of the holy books. I also did some research into blessing the symbols of Zamorak and Saradomin myself because it was mentioned previously. So I ended up buying 10 Unpowered Symbols-Zamorak and taking it turns to bless each one and see if the special energy bar goes down. After blessing all 10 I found out that you don't use up any of the special energy bar while blessing symbols. I then bought 10 unblessed symbols of Saradomin and blessed all 10 resulting in none of the special energy bar being used up. So after all the research it is correct you can only use four passages from a prayer book before the special energy bar is used up and that blessing symbols does not use up any of the special energy Bar. EDITED: I'm not sure about this but my prayer points may have lowered from doing this research, I'm not entirely sure because I only just realised
  19. I'm sure this doesn't work, I heard that if you do use the dummies as a safe spot you have to be quick about actually getting back into the fight otherwise the King's knight will disappear and the fight will end
  20. I feel you could have just made one separate thread named anything like 'Prayer Book Additions' and posted everything about each prayer book underneath one thread instead of having multiple threads.
  21. I believe you have forgotten to mention that when you operate the different prayer books and use on the four passages from the prayer book this will also cost you some of your special attack. If you don't have enough special attack bar you cannot simply use any of the passages from any of the prayer books I think you can usually perform 5-7 passages from the book on full special attack bar before it runs out therefore you needing to wait for the bar to increase again.
  22. Yeah sorry I forgot to mention the Spicy Stews have already been added to some of the skill guides. Yeah I also used spicy stews a lot for completing the achievement diaries for example: Falador-Craft 156 Air runes simultaneously Varrock-Smith an Adamant Medium Helm
  23. I've realised that the Spicy Stew boost method is missing from most of the skill guides and I thought it would be a good idea to add it in stating that you get a random boost -6 to +6 depending on how many spices you have added to the stew. After completing Evil Dave's Recipe For Disaster Sub quest players can learn how to make spicy stews which can boost your levels between -6 to +6 depending on Quantities. Adding just one spice to a stew could give you a possible boost from -2 to +2 in your skills Adding just two spices to a stew can give you a possible boost from -4 to +4 in your skills Adding all three spices to a stew can give you a possible boost from -6 to +6 in your skills Red Spice=Combat Skills, So they following skills could/will be boosted: Attack Defence Ranged Strength Magic Orange Spice=Skill Craft, so they following skills could/will be boosted: Cooking Construction Crafting Fire Making Fletching Rune Crafting Smithing Yellow Spice=Self Improvement, so the following skills could/will be boosted: Agility Hunter Prayer Slayer Thieving Brown Spice=Gathering, so the following skills could/will be boosted: Farming Fishing Herblore Mining Wood Cutting Information regarding the Spicy Stew are missing from the following guides underneath Skill Boosts: Crafting Skill Guide Fire Making Skill Guide Fletching Skill Guide Hunter Skill Guide Magic Skill Guide Mining Skill Guide Prayer Skill Guide Ranged Skill Guide Rune Crafting Skill Guide Slayer Skill Guide Smithing Skill Guide Summoning Skill Guide Thieving Skill Guide Wood Cutting Skill Guide The Magic guide is also missing skill boosts which include: Magic Potion (4) Increases your magic level 3-4 levels temporarily Magic Essence Mix (2) Increases your magic level 3-4 levels temporarily and increases your Hit Points
  24. Thanks very much for your help tonight I really appreicate you taking pictures for this topic :) Hopes the pictures come out OK I'm quite disappointed I forgot to save as a PNG File even though you told me to. I'm sure I'll learn to get decent enough pictures after some experience trying.
