With this "parent's" logic, besides getting fat, I might also take a Chef's Hat and a Meat Tenderiser about as big as I am (5' 10") and start killing Cows, Chickens, small rats, Giant Rats, and evil spirits with it. I must be stopped!
Seriously, either this idiot does not have kids, they are extremely self-conscious of their Runescape playing and weight, and/or they are horrid parents.
Or, it could be simply a joke... Which it is.

I was thinking about this at work today...is anybody else disappointed with the "feel" or look of the runescape armor? This probably comes from me being an RSC player...but I miss my huge, shiny, PLATE body from RSC...observe:
I wont post a full-rune picture from RS2 because obviously you all know what that looks like.
Also, the dragon metal looked way cooler in RSC...the med was a bright red helm that actually looked like metal armor. Today's dragon medium looks like rubber. In RSC, we got to use a shiny red sword or a shiny red axe for our best weapons....now what do we have? A dull black string of saussages that we call a whip.
And just look at the best non-degrading melee armor...full bandos. The top covers only a fraction of your body. The bottoms share this same problem and look less like an armored skirt and more like a mini skirt. RSC characters in armor looked big, dramatic and muscular...our current plate body model makes our arms look stupidly skinny...
However, I do have to say that I really enjoy the look of the third age sets...but those are currently unavailable to the average population. Also, I do like the look of armadyl ranged armor, and I think that infinity is also pretty good looking, and Ahrims isn't that bad. Unfortunately most melee sets seem to have the look of being made out of rubber.
Anyone want to share their opinion on this subject? Or am I the only one who cares about this...

I believe that it promotes childhood obesity, wastes a person's life, and promotes over the internet serious relationships that make it a haven for child molesters and/or cyber sex acts.First let's cover what this game is... I read a bit from the wonderful Encyclopedia Dramatica, and unfortunately I admit to playing this game every now and then. But I play responsibly. It is a simple game of point and click as you hear simple MIDI music playing, the entire game is played by the click of two mouse buttons, while chat is obviously using all the letters of the keyboard. The camera angle can be adjusted with the arrowkeys. But all in all, you just click on something, wait, then the process gets done. When you work, you click... If you're high enough of a level, you will acquire the resource you wish, provided that you also have the correct equipment. Fighting consists of clicking on a 'monster' and hoping that you win the battle, with occasional equipment switches to suit the fight. Then there's eating....
In the game, if your hitpoints are low, you are wise to eat food, for it instantly heals those hitpoints. And the player's stomach is insane... Immense storage. I have seen videos of people gulping down an entire inventory of swordfish in a losing battle. Younger players can take this in a bad light. They can suddenly be brainwashed that eating immense amounts of food can help them live longer or heal faster from a simple cut or bruise. And that 'brain stamp' the game causes can harm their lives, making them obese and shunned by society for it. And they may eventually be stuck in that rut of constantly being laughed at for how they look, and refuse to even go outside and exercise, much less lead a normal life.
Back to work. Working on Runescape is simple, click on the resource... Well I've already told you the process. But that's it. That's all you do. Nothing else. When you have wasted enough of your time on that resource and have gained another level, you are free to forage for another better resource. The process repeats. Obviously cash is made from work, and then you can spend that on something that you will not own for very long, because you will end up needing the next best thing. The process is always the same. There is an end to it all as well... Let's use mining as an example: You move from level 1 to level 99, the limit. The stuff you mine goes in this order, at least I THINK it does... not naming the member items: Copper/Tin->Iron->(coal?)->Silver->Gold->Mithril->Adamant->Rune->Dragon.
After you can mine them all, what else is there to do? That's right, nothing whatsoever. That's it. Done. The END. By that time you're probably rich, maybe lacking some of the 'rare' party hats and whatever. Then all you CAN do is what a player named Zezima does, who is known to have trained up all levels of his character to 99: Just stay on top of the high score list by continuously clicking things over and over. I feel sad for this Zezima person, and hope that he does have a healthy social, spiritual, physical, and mental lifestyle. But he has wasted so much of his life clicking away, such a waste!
Anyway. I encourage you all to stay away from Runescape, World of Warcraft, games like these that are renown for being extremely addictive. And parents, get your child off Runescape before you see him wolfing down ten steaks with the excuse that the dog bite nearly made him respawn in Lumbridge, save him before the damage is really done!!!!

Some kids acting all too serious and talking to inanimate beings, and they make constant references to 'gods', suggesting that there is a religion that some Runescapers follow. Also there is lots of greed shown in this person who made the video. He must stop playing, though it is too late.
A video that shows accurately how female players are treated in the game. I see this all the time.
A simple 'no, I have no money for a drink' would have done well.
Cybersex taking place. No nudity obviously, but plenty of expletives. Beware. Make sure you read in the chatbox.

:lol: i knew they were when i moved in with them (used to live with mom until she got drunk and got in accident, then went to live with dad and stepmom.) I've been telling her that every 5 minutes. literally. (programmed my computer to send her a certain text to her phone ever 5 mins) Shes really really hurt. She says theres a small chance she will, but from what ive seen chicks do, this chance could be alot bigger, or not even there. She says she loves me to, just cant deal with my parents stuff anymore. she told me my parents have been making snide remarks to her for over 2 years now. When I learned that, thats when i threatened them with their lives. Sworddude, my closest relative is my pops and he's taken my parents side of this. Other relative would be my brother-friend who lives in FL. I tell her my parents are peices of garbage every time i send a text.

So his parents found out and disapproved, following my advice he basically told them to [bleep] off, cause really, if she stopped where's the problem? His parents responded by telling him to not come crying to them when she hurts him (or something similar).
But for his parents to do this, its [bleep] terrible.
Yeah, seriously, that's completely out of line.
thanks for the support guys. I asked (yelled at) my parents what they said and why. they told me to ask her what they said. they said they did it to get her away from me. I asked my girlfriend what they said, but she wouldnt give me specifics, only that they called her a dirty tramp and alot of things like that.
I'm speechless irl after reading this, you're parents have no right to do that! You cared about this girl and she cared about you (I assume), so what if she use to cut herself? She doesn't anymore and that's what matters, cussing her out and insulting her like that is one of the worst thing I've ever heard on this thread.
I strongly suggest you explain to you're parents that you care about this girl and that they have no right to do this, tell them you want them to apologize to the girl sincerly, follow this up with some sort of threat that you'll leave home or never speak to them again. I know this may not work, but it's a hope, once again I say it, you're parents have no right to say such things to that girl.
ive threatened them. i told them that if they didnt want to get their [wagon] beat in the middle of the night with a bat, they'd apologize. They still didnt, and bolted (rather sealed) their room shut during the night. So, im pretty much clueless what to do. My girlfriend is really hurt. Im not even gonna lie to yall, I love her, but my parents hate that. Im sure she loves me, but they said really horrible things to her that they cant take back. They meant every word to her. They are hell bent on keeping me away from her. I told them, wait until i get my license, then you'll see some real misconduct.

Don't remmber when this happened but it was long ago.
Was clmbing on a pipe on a wall leading the rain from the rain gutter on the roof down the wall and to the ground. I got to the second floor (bottom floor, first floor then comes second floor) so I wanted to show my friends that I did it cause they weren't there when I first did it. I started climbing, got up to the first floor, saw that the pipe wasn't going to hold me this time but didn't let it go so it kind of just left the wall, I let go of the pipe and fell with my back first on the grass. Lost my breathe for some time and it hurt.
A doctor literally pulled out the side of my toe nail from the flesh. She was kind though, she told me I could scream. :wall:
A few years ago, I dropped a hammer on my big toe.
The worst only happened a few days ago. We had just finished our new bathroom with a bubble bathtub. The bubblling needs electricity. So I wanted to get a shower after a hard day of tearing down a wall in the old bathroom. I didn't really know how the new bathtub worked so I tried to put the water on before taking a shower but as I touch the lever I get an electric shock. My dad dissconnects the washing machine and everything seems ok. (tested with a volt stick and no electricity was running through the levers). Now I get in the tub, sit there for a while...and Boom! I feel like a wave of something inside me holding me down in the water. Luckily I get out somehow (Can't remember how cause I had a black out), I wake up on the floor. I get up, shaking and get a towel and I open the door, there my dad is standing. He and other family members apparently heard me scream which I can't remember doing.
This is the worst that I can remember happening to me.
umm this might be a stupid question, but how did it feel being electrocuted like that? besides the pain i mean
