I think the combat triangle is a pretty good example of how much Jagex knows about their own game. Not so much.
At least they have it 66% right....they just need to fix range now.

Shall I get the chaotic kiteshield or chaotic maul? The chaotic kiteshield is an amazing shield for rangers as is gives no negative range attack bonus and it's defensive stats are the best in the game right now. The chaotic maul is very accurate and can be fun to duel with, but against heavy metal armor I'll want to be maging anyway.

What the hell has happened to world 148? It's just like world 117 now where everybody quits when they die and everything... damn it I'm so sick of that world. And I can't find a permanent team because I have a T9 2h because of my 85 Attack. For crying out loud...

Yeah. It ALWAYS soaked 14% of what I got hit, minus the 200 damage needed to activate the soaking.
I think the farseer kiteshield is pretty cool. No, it can't be compared to a divine, but +17 magic attack, defensive bonuses comparable to an arcane and with a 14% damage reduction for every Melee hit above 200 is pretty good.

I downloaded the trial client, but I can't connect to a server. I log in, try to connect to a server and it will say "Connected" for a minute or so and then I get the message "You have been disconnected from the server."
I have no idea what to do. I tried downloading the trial again, but that didn't work. Disabling my firewall didn't work either.

If your box runs out of charges, all you have to do is log out and log back in and the box will be charged again.
I still think Magic is pretty impressive DPS with Blazer. I feel that it's underestimated. That is with Fire Surge,

I've seen three celestial surgeboxes so far. You're best off in a 5:5 large team. Remember that only mages actually wearing a celestial surgebox can drop one.

They need to fix the mess with the celestial surgebox and the item binding... I've already lost my T11 arrows, a T9 2h ánd my celestial surgebox because of it. Damn it, not going back to Daemonheim until this get fixed. Which may take weeks or months.

I fell victim of the item bind glitch. I lost my Gorgonite 2h after finishing a floor. What's even worse is that I found a celestial surgebox 15 minutes ago. I destroyed my T11 arrows and bound the box to me. But because of a glitch with the box, I can't bind a new weapon or platebody to me, so I had to destroy the box! So I've lost 125 T11 arrows, my T9 2H and my celestial surgebox...
For crying out loud, Jagex can NEVER do things right on their first try. Not going back to Daemonheim until this mess gets fixed.

My first new boss encounter. The Smuggler told me it's part of the Gorajo. It uses Magic, Ranged and Melee. It has high magic resistance and RUN when roots appear from the ground. If you don't run, the roots will cover you, and damage you for a lot. I got damaged for 653 and this guy is level 122, so I'm guessing it's special can hit 990 on a 5:5. No idea what it drops, it didn't drop anything.

With increased difficulty comes increased rewards, as the highest possible XP rates are available to those who have a prestige level of the maximum number of floors. Eight new rewards will be available from the rewards trader, including necklaces that regain prayer points as you bury bones, a new pet based around one of our most popular bosses, and the scroll of cleansing, which gives you a permanent chance of making potions faster and saving a secondary ingredient while you do so.
Potential 8 Rewards:
-- Prayer Necklace 1
-- Prayer Necklace 2
-- Prayer Necklace 3 (3 b/c they probably follow the trend of arcstream)
-- Scroll of cleansing
-- Pet
-- Eye of warrior
-- Eye of mage
-- Eye of ranger
so it's extremely possible that there will be no new chaotics :shock:
Those "Eye of the ..." rewards have been scrapped for Warped floors aswell. You're forgetting about the magical surgebox and the cloak the player was wearing in the pictures.

If the necklace in the picture is an upgraded arcane stream necklace, it will require 90 Dungeoneering, 90 Magic and around 61,000 tokens. There is a 20 level gap between all three necklaces and their store price doubles per upgrade. It's stats will be +16 magic attack and +20% magic damage.

But then again, the style of the necklace doesn't go along with the style of other arcane necklaces... Can't really make a distinction of it's a wave/surge box or a bolt/blast box wither, but the first is more likely.
The magical blastbox has a red/yellow color and the player in the picture is wearing a purple/light pink box.

Yeah, that's a "glitch" in the map itself, not just in Draynor, but all across RuneScape. It seems like quite a few places that happened. And not just buildings, but farming patches, fences, etc.
I've been looking over the map more, and there's a holiday icon in both Varrock square, and the north gate of Falador, and also an area that looks like it's been removed from Falador. I'll try and get pictures posted tomorrow.
where can i find the rest of the images?
They're not online yet. The map is HUGE (literally 25000x28000 pixels), so uploading the image as a whole wasn't really an option. I'll try and get at least the part of Falador that looks like it was removed on later.
If they're sending YOU ("us") these pictures for your project, are you sure you're allowed to reveal them to us?
I'm usually all for spoilers of future content and such, but it seems like if these were originally unreleased, that JaGEx expects you to use them for your project, and that by showing us them, you are, in a sense, betraying their trust, leading to a reluctance on their part to support players in a similar fashion in the future.
These items were given with the specific knowledge they were being used as the base for a high-definition map of RuneScape, to be used on a fansite. We are a few days ahead of our release , but since the map was given specifically to publish on the web, I don't see what harm it is to post pieces a few days early.
Is there a new area on the map? An island or so?

One thing I'm a little concerned about is the magic absorbtion on hides. Meleers can equip black dragonhide or Karil's without suffering any attack penalties and they will soak magic damage aswell, which isn't supposed to happen.
