  1. You have a few options here:

    1. Protect from melee and whip in Chaos Tunnel.

    2. Halberd Safe spot with(or without) a cannon in Taverly.

    3. Guthans/Food in Wilderness Dungeon(under Edgeville).

Option 2 is what I'd recommend, option 1 isn't terrible, however option 3 will take ALOT more time.

  2. I did yew and magic longbows, you can buy longbow(u)s and string them for a bit of profit and some decently fast experience. I'd say the fast experience comes from arrows, check out adamant(it may be way to expensive but its in excess of 400k exp/hr).

  3. If I'm doing something really stressful or where clicking alot is important(soloing bosses/blackjacking for example) I switch to OFF, however I normally set private to ON and am almost never bothered by people, lest the occasional question. I see very little people 'needing' to keep private to friends to escape 'noobs', except for those at the top of the high scores.

  4. I see no problem with this, your spending a [cabbage] load of money on prayer anyways, almost 3 times what I'll spend to get mine to 99. Also nice stats, all f2p lest prayer right? Impressive x10

  5. I'm a higher level player and normally talk to players around me (unless they act like complete morons) however sometimes I turn public chat off for effeciencies' sake. As for 'high levels' that do this, they are normally noobs who have decent combat stats and want to feel good about themselves.

  6. Although I definatly Runescape more, World of Warcraft can be alot of fun. The reason I don't think Wow is as good as Runescape is after you max on WOW(which doesn't take that long) you run outta real interesting things to do, sure there are raids, but they are on time limts(normally once a week).

  7. The way I look at 'buying' experience is unless your a merchant you had to train skills or commit game hours to earn the gold to pay for supplies. Lets say that you earn 1m an hour and 99 herblore costs 100m, it takes 100 hours to get the supplies before you even start training the skills. If we assume it takes 40 hours to level herblore to 99 once you obtain all supplies then you are losing 140 game hours getting herblore to 99. In that time you could get over 10m woodcutting experience powercutting teaks. So are you really buying the skill?

Post Note: DIY-ing isn't faster than powerleveling because you get all supplies on your own, not just the ones that lie outside your max gp/hr ratio.

  8. You can fletch bolts or firemake between alchs, although firemaking would slow it down.

I've tried firemaking and no matter how fast you are you always have to relight so its definatly not a viable option. Bolts may be an option but farming runs are a must.
