  1. I would expect that anyone whose account is online and active for more than 72 hours in a row could reasonably be said to be either an AFKer or someone sharing accounts - Few people can actually stay awake that long. And I think the solution to the problem is fairly simple (in theory at least). Make it so if you are in combat with a monster for more minutes than its total hitpoints, and fail to do any damage, then they get bored and wander off - removing themselves as a viable target for long enough for the attacking player to lose the active attack and become idle. The only way to resolve that while AFK would be to use a macro program, which Jagex would be able to track down.
  2. I wasn't aware that Photobucket resampled images over certain resolutions. The maps I uploaded there are blurred and useless. I've reuploaded them all to Imageshack which don't have such restrictions. They are at the following locations: RSC Circa 2001 RSC Circa 2004 16/4/2004 10/8/2004 22/9/2004 17/11/2004 15/12/2004 7/2/2005 26/4/2005 8/7/2005 5/1/2006 21/3/2006 28/7/2006 4/9/2006 27/9/2006 21/11/2006 10/1/2007 29/1/2007 5/2/2007 19/2/2007 27/3/2007 10/4/2007 18/4/2007 8/5/2007 4/6/2007 18/6/2007 17/7/2007 24/7/2007 28/8/2007 10/9/2007 9/10/2007 22/10/2007 26/11/2007 10/12/2007 22/1/2008 29/1/2008 12/2/2008 18/3/2008 31/3/2008 8/4/2008 22/4/2008 7/5/2008 4/6/2008 1/7/2008 14/7/2008 29/7/2008 26/8/2008 27/10/2008 11/11/2008 16/12/2008 6/1/2009 19/1/2009 10/2/2009 7/4/2009 21/4/2009
  3. Awesome. I'm adding that one to my collection :) A friend of mine was telling me that back in the day, there was only Varrock and Lumbridge, and anywhere other than those two locations was full-on PVP. I take it this map is from that sort of era?
  4. I just happened across this post while trawling the internet for archives of old world maps. I have been keeping an archive myself since September 2004, but missed everything before then. The two earlier ones linked at the beginning of this forum post filled in the gap quite nicely. I've added them to the beginning of my personal archive with estimated dates based on the presence or absence of quest-specific map locations and quest symbols. My archive currently comprises 56 maps starting from the last one available for RSC right up to the most recent downloadable map as of 21 July 2009, and is viewable at this location (Total size of all maps currently over 80Mb) http://s625.photobucket.com/albums/tt33 ... ld%20maps/
