  1. who cares about what your cmb lvl is. PK with the best you got. Thats the way it should be.
  2. It would only be fair if 2 people fight eachother both had 74prayer...one uses rigour and the other uses eagle eye. They have the same cmb lvl. The one using the rigour prayer will win 90% of the time. If it were a fair fight then they would split 50/50 or at least close to it.
  3. Hey I thought I said: gf i win close thread....rofl that means you're not suppose to post anymore.... And my face hole will always remain open.....twss
  4. The fact of the matter is that no matter what you say the reason for not allowing extremes into the wild, there are the same amount of reasons to not allow most all high level items. So the obvious sollution is...allow extremes. See how it works and adjust as needed. gf i win close thread....rofl
  5. Do extremes not work well in pvp mini games like castle wars.......yes they do....you know why they work....because people actually wear armor better than rune and mystic robes.
  6. False. The same reason you just stated can be used to ban any boosting potions. ^to xpx
  7. So everybody that has the prayer lvl for rigour gets to use it? Smithing doesn't add to your cmb lvl?
  8. Herblore isn't risked, is it? Rigour isnt risked is it?
  9. You know your arguements of pvm are just complete bs and i'm not even going to argue for it. The wilderness is first and foremost a place for dangerous pvp, and every decision made will be made based on what is good for it. Really, extremes allow a proper balance? balance in what? firstly, they are imbalanced in terms of combat level and risk, and secondly, they make the balance of DPS vs. LP dip over a scale of disastrous. If jagex wants the wilderness to have any sort of balance in the first place, they must remove at least some features, and extremes are a perfect example of where to start. If they, one day, decide to change things in that there would be a balance and herblore would become a combat skill, i'm happy to allow extremes, but until then, no. For fairness, you again talk about BS. Stats that are boosted are shown in your combat level, You effectively want them to be shown twice, or even three times. Prayer levels add to combat level, but herbore doesn't. End of story. Dungeoneering doesnt add to your cmb lvl does it
  10. Why am i being punished for raising my herblore level As it they have not bee allowed in PVP anyway (The two days honestly do not count) There is no punishment. If you trained those levels, you would have known you could not use them in PVP. Nothing is changing, that is what people are arguing for. The wilderness needs fixing, not being made worse. Wrong analogy....taking extremes out of pvp is like driving across the country 10 time. Then picking one bug off the front bumper of the car and saying its clean. Sorry but that example just doesn't work. First off, the 'bug' which I guess you relate to extremes was never there in the first place, so it would be as if you are adding an extra dead bug to the front of your car after arriving. Which would, of course, as adding extremes is, utterly pointless and without reason. If you want to use an example like that, at least do one that works. Since it was there for one day.....it is actually like the bug fell off the bumper on the 2nd trip across the country then now on trip 10 it is revived and could get smashed on there good this time.
  11. You can have 95 pray without having done the quest to get curses.....and your cmb lvl will still be the same.
  12. Wrong analogy....taking extremes out of pvp is like driving across the country 10 time. Then picking one bug off the front bumper of the car and saying its clean.
  13. Actually they were for a day. Then too many people that didn't have high herblore.....which was a lot of people back then...complained and it got removed. Back then herb was one of the least trained skills, so not very many people could make any extremes. Since it's release there has be dung items added, new armor, armor soaking. Extremes came out on Oct. 9th, 2009 Curses came out on Dec. 3rd 2009 So curses can ballance out the effects of extremes too.
  14. Rigour doesnt risk anything....but yet that is an obvious unfair advantage.
  15. Said it a few pages back. Rigour requires 74 prayer so it is, but yes dungeoneering isn't displayed in your combat level. it's also not much better than eagle eye (comparing to range - ext range) Edit: 4k post count lol Grats on the post count! Thats a lot of posts. Also I agree with tin. :P
  16. Said it a few pages back. Rigour requires 74 prayer so it is, but yes dungeoneering isn't displayed in your combat level. it's also not much better than eagle eye (comparing to range - ext range) Edit: 4k post count lol Eagle eye doesn't boost your defence lvl by 25%...thats basically the same as drinking an extreme def pot.
  17. No one has still answered how Dung prayers are risked...they are an invisible reward from dung and shouldn't be allowed. Yes there is a prayer requirement for those prayers, but not everyone with that prayer level has the dung lvl to use those prayers.
  18. If those were banned from PVP right from the release of dung; not many. Extremes/overloads were banned the day after they were released. Jagex had to allow dung items because very few people would want to train dung if they weren't allowed, and Jagex couldn't let their precious new skill go unused.
  19. So how many people would be upset if they didn't allow dung items or prayers earned thru dung? You earn the ability to boost range and mage thru dung prayers. But you don't risk losing anything...
  20. That is exactly what they are doing for people who want to use extremes....."just go do a pvp minigame"........yeah thats what i spent 200m+ for.....to just go blow massive amounts of gp worth in extremes in castle wars or stupid crap. People who want to use extremes in the wild are acting the same way you would if jagex told you to go to f2p to pk if you dont want to deal with extremes. And if they are gonna make a sword that hits 1500 99% of the time it should most definitely be called the PayMe Sword.....lol
  21. I think people need to quit being noobs. If they don't wana get hit hard then go to f2p to pk max hit there is like what....350ish. Supers or extremes....it will always be possible to 2 hit someone. The whole reason jagex started coming out with stronger weapons was to ballance the cmb out. Because barrage completely owned. But when they upgraded weapons they didn't upgrade amor. Which is still way behind. So actually the cmb triangle is more ballanced now than it ever has been. mage still owns a melee....i dont care if you wear full torva/ovl/turn/chaotic.....a high lvl mage that knows anything about pking still owns you. Melee still owns range.....rangers just cant hit thru good armor. If people would actually wear armor over rune. range still owns mage.....gf mage Even with extremes this triangle remains true. Pking has always been and all ways will be tactical. Right now the tactic is survive the first specs and then duke it out.
  22. Pulling out random statistics? You could prove them right by changing your poll to something which reflects it. Or you could prove yourself wrong. 'I pk, have extremes and don't want them' 'I pk, don't have extremes and don't want them' 'I pk, have extremes and do want them' 'I Pk, don't have extremes and do want them' People who don't pk or use the wilderness shouldn't vote because well, it won't have an effect on them whichever way and probably don't know the effect they would have. 73.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
  23. Seems like 80% or more of the people that don't want extremes allowed are the people that can't use them. Which is a totally biased argument. There are about 50k people with 85+ herb now that can at least boost to most all of the extremes. There are only about 40k people with 80dung. My point is...A person with low dung but high herb will get owned with out a chaotic. If extremes are not allowed. If you take out herb you have to also take out dung weapons. That is the only fair way to do it. You can't reward one skill and put another at a disadvantage. Also, I have never seen anyone that was actually wearing armor get 1 hit with full hp.
