If you dont like to see or deal with high hits go pk in f2p. I'm telling you. It seems like all these "old" pkers dont want extremes because it makes the fights shorter. Go back and freaking fight max melees in f2p in full rune if u wana long fight ffs.
I think you mean your point, not the point. Most of the people want extremes for pvp combat. It's a valid point, but as MH-ing in the wilderness isn't particularly popular, i can't see this being a problem. Oww, i can see the intelligence in your post. Making the wilderness a complete ****shoot of 1 item spec restore guys is clearly what we need. Clearly, all the stupid skillers that think they can pk and having extremes will make them divine in the wilderness. Wake up, extremes wouldn't give an advantage to anyone, but would be a disadvantage to alot of people. Ofc they will be a disadvantage.....someone with 98str is at and disadvantage when fighting someone with 99str. If you are wearing armor and get killed by a one itemer using extremes you deserve to die. C'mon people wake up. Extremes are not overpowering anymore. The people that will be the most dangerous are the more skilled players.
Rofl....I want to see what kinda stupid message jagex comes up with when you try to bring extremes into the wild.... "the potion you are carrying is too awesome to bring into the wild" Thats what I wana see.
Well, I am sure that I speak for just about 100% of all the people that have spent 200m+ on herb that we all have an insane amount of extremes that we just can not get rid of. We need to be able to boost and take advantage of the thousands of extremes we have banked.
That is a better reason than jagex gave. But there are all kinds of exceptions to the whole risk/reward. As an example look at Korasi's sword. It is very cheap and easily replaced. Making a single overload is almost as exepsive as korasi if you make it from scratch. I would rather lose korasi than an overload potion. Mainly because you have to buy torstols, which can be very hard to come by.
This is a big topic, and one that I feel needs addressed by jagex. If they want to ban extremes in the wilderness I want a good reason. Not just because we can't see them. Because from my experience, in all the pvp mini games and places you can actually use extremes, they are not so over powering. Extremes work well in the pvp configuration and would add a nice spice into the new wild. So what does everyone else think?
So if you are fighting with a whip the whole time....then break out the chaotic maul for the ko.....you wouldnt see the maul till it hit you to kill you. I dont see the difference.
There is no way to justify banning extremes. "You can't see them"......No one can tell you have a chaotic if you dont have it equipped. Also, you can use the stat spy to see if they are boosted. Jagex says that the "wilderness is suppose to be a dangerous area" for people that want to go up there for clues and such, but they want to make it less dangerous by taking out extremes.
So a 125's averages......92att, 92str, 92def, 92hp, 70pray, 88sum.....with chaotic couldnt beat a 135's averages......98att, 98str, 98def, 98hp, 92pray, 88sum....with say a whip or gs I'm just saying there is no reason to ban extremes from the wilderness.
Dune Blythe has a multi-question about extreme potions and chaotic weapons. Mod Fetzki: I can only repeat what I said above: The reason is that you cannot *see* whether the other one has extreme potions or not, whereas it is very clear whether you are wielding a chaotic weapon or not. Summoning influences your combat level (on members worlds only) but Herblore doesn't, therefore we took the decision to exclude the extreme potions from the Wildy. So....what happens if you go into the wild and you dont have your chaotic equiped, or if you un-equip your chaotic....does it auto bank? Thats a stupid reason to not allow extremes. And if overloads are what you are worried about....can you not see all the 100 100 100 100 100 damage you take when you drink it. I just think it's stupid to not allow stuff in the wild. Like you said....the wilderness is suppose to be dangerous. Just assume that everyone has extremes and you will be fine. Also...we do have a stat spy spell do we not. Basically the way its going to be is....if a lvl 125ish player has a chaotic anda 135ish players doesnt have a chaotic and cant use their extremes....it is very likely that the 120 would win
