  1. Nope. Ah well. I guess you shoul've thought it through. I don't admit I'm wrong when I'm right. Fine then. Normal growth rate: 4% Drug that increases probability of twins/triplets/quintuplets = Growth rate of around 12%. Drug that increases ferility rate (babies take 3 months, rather then 9) = Growth rate of 48% Immigration from other nations adds another 3-4%, let's say (considering that if you're a citizen of the Federation you get access to tremendous bio enhancements) = Growth rate of 52% Huge incentives to reproduce adds another say 2% or so. Growth rate = 54%. New lands that are granted according to family size adds another 1%. Growth rate = 55%. Immigration from Federation land in Earth as well as government relocation to alleviate over-population (parts of Africa, and Bangladesh) adds another say 5%. Growth rate = 60%. AI cargivers that allow for parents to have more kids and still go to work, or have them help with taking care of the kids adds another say 4%. So 64% for Midgard. Happy? I'm sorry to break this in, but can you explain to me "Drug that increases ferility rate (babies take 3 months, rather then 9) = Growth rate of 48%" Wouldn't this cause most of your citizens to die early? I'm pretty sure a fast development will cause age related illness and disease at earlier ages.
  2. No, thats [developmentally delayed]ed, a high budget in one tech will decrease the years, by like 5
  3. What do you mean? Your budget changes every year unless you dont earn or lose any money
  4. I will be keeping my race humans for a long long time i'm just discussing the future. Also, it won't work with all this data splicing stuff. That was your idea. they won't have arms or legs just implements and weapons and battery chargers and talkey things and internet ascess or whatever This seems to work perfectly. Yep, just tax it for 9 years, you have to work out each 9 years individually really, oh and remove costs for research, building and stuff
  5. I'm bored, so I guess its report time. People [hide]Population 10 441 600 (+ 1M of useless babies, this wont be added on, so it wont affect my growth rate) Growth rate 4% Expected next years population 10 859 264[/hide] Finance [hide]Budget 122 571 520 000 GDP 24 537 760 000 Production - 21.5B Tax - 20 214 304 000 Expected next years cash - 105 394 976 000[/hide] Production [hide]Research Centre 1.5B 1/3 Verticle Farm - 1B 1/4[/hide] Research [hide]Colonisation - 4B 2/7 Cloning - 5B 2/15[/hide] Trade [hide]The robots Ross is sending over should be over in a year :) It'll take a year to develop them.[/hide] Projects [hide]Baby Project starting this year, starting off with 10B put in for the new born babies :) 0/18 (babies are born at the age of zero)[/hide] This year, was quite a bad year, a lot of cash was lost due to the baby project, I expect this loss to increase, until I'm either bankrupt, or my population can pull me out with earnings.
  6. I think its ok to change ur race, but omg its going to take a while, firstly, after you have tech'd it, you have to make enough robot suites and lets just say disks, idk what you store your mind on, for your current population, and the population expected to have when you have built the suites, that going to take a ton of money... I'm planning on researching everything first and then simply putting it together, all i'll have to pay for is: 1) putting everything together 2) eradication/find a use of humans. Eradication? Hello civil war.

  8. I have a new weapon I will be using when I get the technology. It uses rods that have cells that will power the laser rifle to fire, it will fire continuously until the rods are used up. If the fire is constant for an X amount of time (not determined yet) The rods will be used up quicker. The rods kind of eject, not fully but by a few centimeters when used up, possibly some sort of sensor in the rod connected with the gun. As you notice, it has two magazines, one is a reserve, in case you go to reload, and you are ambushed, you can still fire. This will only work when the main magazine is disengaged, so the gun wont continuously fire and cause the reserve to just get eaten up. It also has a scope :D
  9. Was messing around and made this, I'll have this as my troop infantry and recon gun, until I make more, I will soon make a gun that I will be developing. It will be a laser rifle, also I will make a rail gun and possibly other ideas, but these guns I'll have to develop.
  10. I'm the dude researching cloning, if your not happy about it, and I know this sounds like a stupid negotiation but if I am to quit Cloning, then I demand free or very low costing clones, and have them when ever I feel like it, or I'm carrying on, and if you declare war on such a trivial matter, I may not know much about your people, but your sure to have some protesting. Plus, I'm not going to give clones out, heck I'm not going to monopolize it, I'm just going to create clones for me cause I want to get a huge population, not quickly, but just fast enough, and due to the vertical farm, I'll be able to uphold a bigger population
  11. .5 MJ batteries power the bottom barrels. To reload you just drop in another battery and a slug. And for God's sake, I don't know. If I knew how to make powerful hand held railguns, I'd be rich. The fact is I've spent time researching them, so it's fair. I would highly suggest you have those be mounted support weapons rather than standard weaponry. Plus, they would suck as standard weapons. They're not even semi-automatic, you have to reload each shot, and then put in a battery. That would have like the reload time of a musket. It sounds more demolition to me, anti tank and stuff. So possibly issued to a few heavy infantry, but it shouldnt be the gun you give everyone
  12. My planet is going to begin a baby boost program, that will take affect next year, and wont show any results for 18 years. Basically, I will pay 10B a year, that will pay for 1 million babies, at 10k per year. This makes out to 180k A baby, as it costs all of that for food and a high education, this means, after 18 years, I will have some well nourished well educated workers ready to boost my GDP quite greatly. It will stack with my current Growth rate. Tell me your thoughts :)
  13. I always thought you take 5% of your GDP, not all of it
  14. I agree with this, but I don' think you should be able to do it in such a short space of time. Do you have actual housing to allow these humans to live? You can't use their old slave pens, they would be angry. Also, how are they all suddenly free? It takes time for that to get passed
  15. EDIT: I think you should be able to do it As lnog as you have nano bot technology as you said would be needed
  16. Hmmmmm report for the Populus of Astrum People [hide]Population 10.4M Next Year population 10 441 600 Growth rate 4% [/hide] Financial [hide]Budget 136B GPD 22 971 520 000 (thats a billion) Tax 24.9B Production/research 11.5B Money left 99.6B Expected cash near year 122 571 520 000 (thats a billion) [/hide] Production [hide]Research Centre - 1.5B 0/3 Verticle Farm - 1B 0/4 Expansion of mining program Complete Expansion of military program Complete [/hide] Research [hide]Cloning - 5B 1/15 Colonisation - 4B 1/7 [/hide] Trade [hide]10K Robotic workers being shipped to Astrum - Cost: Free [/hide] With the expansion of our mining, GPD was increased by 2k. As with our military program, I will begin to create soldiers next year. I have decided to begin construction of a Research facility to boost Research, this in turn, will decrease the time of my research by one year. The workers being sent over by Ross will help with the construction of the Research Centre, which will take one year away from it, until I am told otherwise. Also I have began to construct a vertical farm, which will allow a bigger population cap, but as that cap will not be reached for a while, all food I over supply with will either be sold, or kept in storage if need ever rises.
  17. Cause you're a alien. Your race might not of discovered it
  18. Actually, not really. Mars was basically a godmod. In reality, the materials and chemicals needed for terraformation cost several quadrillion. The closest thing you could do logically, I think is terraform a part of the planet, and somehow contain the atmosphere in that part. Maybe a dome of some sort. Yeah that's more of what I was thinking. I want to have a long reach so I can reach other systems efficiently. Why do you need terraforming? There are many planets you can colonize that don't need it.
  19. Hey, if I increase money put into something by double, do I half the time, or is it just lowered by a few years? Cause I'm putting 4B into colonization, and if I put in 8B, I was wondering if this would lower the years by 3, as Colonization will take 7 years.
  20. Ok I have my report for this year, well yesteryear, as its tomorrow for me now Colonisation - 4b 0/7 Cloning - 5b 0/15 Exapansion of military program - 3b 0/1 Expansion of mining program - 3b 0/1 Production - 15b Tax - 13b End cash - 52b Expected cash next year - 136b Check out with everyone? My budget this year was 80B With a GDP of 84b
  21. I am going to drop all genetic programs and rather change it into research into colonization of other planets Anyone know how long that will take? EDIT : I also found out you start with a shipyard, so I am not going to make another one on my planet.
  22. Too much. Besides, you'd then have lumps of molten metal flying at your soldiers. Can you please, please, please try to come up with some realistic techs? I agree with Ross, if you wanted it to work, it would have to disintegrate it, and as a bullet is fast, it would have to do it in a flash...
  23. No I mean set up a program, we haven't got one yet, and if we do, it must be basic, so I'm expanding them. 0/15 cloning advanced genetics0/8 shipyard 0/4
  24. Ok on my planet I currently have 10M Population 80B Budget and my GPD is 105000000000 My growth rate is 4% next year I will have 1040000 population I begin construction on a shipyard (anyone mind telling me how long that takes) I also begin to create a military training camp, with an elite turret program, to help me get people into the full rotation dome turrets. I use my last free technology to get a breakthrough into genetics, not fully mastered, just able to start the cloning process and shizz, but they still die and stuff. I start to research advanced genetics and begins plans on creating a mining company. Can some people give me some figures on these?
  25. I have decided to go for Ema-Quartus I In the Ema-Quartus Star system I decided to rename it Astrum <--- If I'm allowed
