How many attribute points do we get to spend?
-
What level character do I roll?
-
I am definitely interested in rejoining, I believe I can make the sessions, what time are they?
-
I was wrong, we need the back room back.
THIS GUY RIGHT HERE!
He's speaking sense.

Ico, Vezon, welcome to Dream Ender 2!
Now, we're up to five players. Alg (Mask) I believe is still working on his character, so we may have six players. Which is AWESOME!
Once I find/fix the original DE timeline I'll put that up. I'll also have to post a family tree thing, which isn't a family tree of the player characters, but of two characters that will come into play soon as the game starts.
Would ya'll like it if I came up with the trade prices list too? I'm sure ya'll want to buy armor, weapons, ect.
Anything else ya'll want me to put up before we start the actual gameplay(the q&a session will not count as a gameplay session)? We still need to work out a day for the Q&A session and I need to see what days are available so all the players may play the game.
The more info the better. Afterall, I am still sorta new to this roleplay thing itself.
I will be waiting by the nice and warm fire.
EDIT: I know it doesn't concern me, but what House would Ico fall under?
No house

Name: Timmothy Smashington
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Race: Human
Fighter Class: Beserker, specialises in hand-to-hand
Bio: Head of the Smashington family, a wealthy family which runs the Smashington CO business empire, who's main business if the manufactoring of maces, hammers and staves. He hears a black top-hat and a monocle, his mustache is similar to Hulk Hogan's mustache and is slightly grey. He is always puffing on an extremely large cigar which could be mistaken for a small tree log. Occasionally ash from the cigar goes over his expensive looking black suit, greying it slightly. Noticeable on his breast is the crest of the royal family of Angland, a far away island nation renowned for their nationalism, bad teeth and tea. His connections with the royalty are deep, as the Smashington CO provide most of the weapons for the royal army.
Magic Skill: (You do not know how much I want to put muscle mage) He can change his skin to steel.
(I do intend to play seriously)

Sounds exploitable as hell with a healer around.
Can I join the blood magic house and say my skill is healing magic? Or does the house not actually grant the magic itself?
-
Got a few questions about the magic classes
Death magic, is that necromancy like raising the dead? Or general decay and such magic? Or is it a mixture of the two? It seems in the bio it's more shadow based if anything.
Blood magic, can I control other people's blood? Could I heal with it?
Earth, although it is described as a healing class, is there any offensive abilities? Can I chuck rocks, use vines and such?
Crystal magic, What is crystal magic? (I didn't play de1)
A few more questions too
If I can pick any magic skill as stated in the character creation thing, can I start my own house, as what if I want to be a fire mage which has no house?
Also character's can't die? So is there anyway we lose?

Where was my invite Archi ;_;
I-It's ok, not like I wanted to crush heresy with you or anything~

Been a bit inactive and I too have also wanted to GM the game I started to create a few pages back, the trouble with me is that I have no time. Taking a large amount of subjects and trying to do well in them, and also keeping up with my own personal gaming and hobbies means I don't really find time.
I however have begun actually coding a game, obviously wont support multiplayer and it is more a project to see how far I can stretch my programming skills so wont really be taken seriously, but I'd glady send people it if they would like to play test it and would like to put in some ideas for it.
I have considered re-attending Wryvren's Pathfnder but what holds me back is, I'm pretty sure it's rude to leave and come back, I'm not sure if I will be able to go to every session which would annoy any GM and I can't really decide on a character (Was feeling creating a rouge multi classed with a bard)
I have also recently started to play Eu3 again, however modded with MEIOU which has made it very fun with the addition of a ton of nations, which really ramps up Japan (which now has like 15 diamyos).
If I start getting serious interest in the concept I came up with earlier, I will probably be more inclined to run it.

Wurm's kinda bad unless you have a community, and if you look at HnH, well we end up just splitting apart because we all invaribly have different goals... Also interesting fact, Notch was part of the team for Wurm.

New game that could possibly be cool to play:
A mixture between dungeoneering and hegemony in a sense.
I'm thinking for simplicity just two sides, the GM (And possibly others) against a team of players. The team of players are 'heroes' who are all commanders of an army, you all start off equal to eachother but you are free to designate someone as the head, you also do not necessarily have to split the forces up.
Anywho, you build your heroes up, give them story, give them stats (I'll go for the simple Wc3, strength/agility/intelligence. Anywho, you play through fighting the GM who is the commander of the other army, the hegemony comes into it where you are both two countries at war and the more you win the more resources you get and such until the opposing team has pretty much either no way to win and concedes or is fully conquered.
Anywho, battles will be scheduled depending on the outcome of the last battle and your decision. So let's say the GM loses and chooses to pushback and regroup, the GM then fights the next battle for the same piece of territory, with the same army (albeit a bit damaged) and with other modifiers. Or the player side has a huge defeat and is unable to regroup and thus their choice becomes limited to basicallly only being able to retreat. On the otherhand, the victorious army can choose whether to annex the area, dig-in, retreat back, and so on.
I am thinking running this in maptools, and making it similar to fire emblem in a sense. (So it wont be like 1000v1000) and perhaps a battle every weekend, seems like a good choice.
I guess if the game ends quickly, like one side loses all the battles in a row and cedes, then we can vote in a new GM.
TL:DR
A fire-emblem esque game that takes into account hegemony and dungeoneering.
Oh yeah and death mechanic:
If you die you're knocked out of the game, until the next rounds start. It will be a CK and you will unable to be able to make a hero similar to them (I will make exceptions). This is another win condition, if one side loses all its heroes then they auto cede. Works both ways.

Am considering re-making another dungeoneering game, but this time, instead of use my own system I may look into the systems Grim seems to recommend all the time, as I always make a bad system so a premade one may be better.
The setting is like it was before, set in medieval esque fantasy where magic is taboo but practiced in certain area and the story will revolve around the tensions between magic users and non magic users.
I will look into a system to use currently.
I will not allow anyone to start off with magic, instead you get magic power through items that you will recieve throughout the adventures (whether you choose to destroy or keep them)
I will run this in IRC.
I am not sure when to schedule this.
I believe like one of my previous stories this pretty much takes place after a schism took place where people split off into pro magic and anti magic, a large crusaude was taken against the magic users who were mostly wiped out and the few that left have seemingly left the planet, but lately more magic users seem to be turning up, all with similar agendas. That is, to recover the old relics the mages used during the wars to cause great havoc.
(Yeah it's a little generic, I will hopefully flesh it out and develop it as you guys go along)
-
Pretty sure Res asked the same thing and no one said anything :P.
But yeah, I guess I'd play.
-
Is this accessible via the tavern's built in irc? Or do I have to download mIRC and do all that info stuff
-
Wait so everyone is just on the IRC now?

Don't agree with any one the poll ideas so I'm not going to vote
But this may spark an actual discussion in the backroom:
What did the bot nuke do in RS?
Anyone playing some sweet MMO?
Anyone excited for, TERA, GW2 or the new WoW expansion?
Also Res, no because only like 3 people (I'd really only go with Archi tbh) knows enough about politics to play the game properly

Admiral Icu is representing the Druuge's by buying 5 Druuge Maulers.

I don't count writing depressing messages to eachother, giving advice which would make a situation worse or anything that is really posted here anymore a discussion

Best course of action
Tell your friend, that guy obviously doesn't want to be with her, so it's for the best. Just imagine all the other girls he's tried it on with.
-
Jus' Sayin'
If you couldn't see it from that then you're a bit naive, and also you can't really act innocent because it takes two people to roleplay.
