    >Lei clearly states for you guys to stop

    >You guys continue

I mean I agree about stuff you said about Lei, but generally when someone tells you to stop it means you should probably stop.

I mean do you guys even know Lei? Do you guys go up to people in the street who seem a little distress and begin telling them they have problems?

Basically my point is, I've had enough of all of this, you guys don't know (And that isn't your fault) Lei and I'm starting to believe, no right to really say anything. Also you guys suck at advice or criticism when the person at hand is clearly not handlelling it well and yet you guys still persist.

    @Lei, Do what Stork said.

  2. School MOST of the time is not an intelligence based thing. If you study everyday and do everything you are told to be teachers you will do good. However, if you're like me and apparently a lot of other people I know, you will not study because it either A - does not cross my mind, B - I had a long day at school and I want to have some fun.

You could argue that studying would be intelligence, because you know you need a refresher and thus you study.

However, my chemistry teacher informed me a few days ago that it is not all about studying and doing good like that. I told him that I had motivational problems about the course and he recommended something I have yet to try. Which was physical exercise. Although this may sound weird he quickly became one of my favourite teachers. Perhaps it was because he understood the issue and didn't just say "Well try harder."

  3. I have accounts on a ton, but the only one I actively use is Facebook because it seems to even keep in anyway informed with social happenings with anybody near me, I need a facebook.

Don't really post much on them though.

  4. I agree with Archi and Iey... The amount of emotional turmoil in the room is reaching the point where I will come on here and just see depressing posts about how life is apparently unfair and what not.

All though it's all just teen angst. (Which itself is rather ironic in my opinion as most teenagers believe themselves to be unique when they all apparently have the same problems)

Referencing the post above mine (Mather's, incase someone posts in between this)

I hear desperation can actually be a pheromone that people can smell. Furthermore people tend to want things they can't have, so if you're giving your all to a girl she probably wont care much for you~. (Although then again the opposite of this is being as [wagon], and as people always complain they get the girls, I wonder why it works)

Also living your life to just play video games and webcomics is a bit... wasteful... Sorry to say man but if you become a NEET I actually believe you shouldn't even recieve basic human rights. My opinion though. Although you're not a NEET, you could easily become one with that attitude.

  5. Man, Puella Magi really is an f'd up show. The main cast is a bunch of little girls with colorful hair, then by episode four we get this:

Well it's a deconstruction of the magic girl genre. It is like that because it is showing how the genre really kind of is or should be.

Was a good anime with a bad end. The main thing I like is that unlike the magic girl genre (possibly a subversion of this common convention in magic girl animes) is that the characters don't really have plot armor.

  6. Cats are cheap, the problem is that people pamper them. Cats don't need a furry pink house, a little blue hat, paw shoes or even cat food, the only cost involved in having a cat is the potential risk of them getting diseases and in that case you can take them to the vets.

Cats are good at looking after themselves and can find food for themselves, especially if you live in a rural or semi-rural area. If the cat appears hungry then some leftover meat from whatever your last meal was will certainly be more then enough, they will of course need to be fed milk if they're a kitten but once a cat is of age they don't need to sit around doing nothing.

Wow, remind me not to give you a pet cat. You don't make a pet fend for itself. :/

    Agreed

You also miss the ENTIRE POINT of having a pet if you just buy it and not even look after it.

  7. I can normally run a large country well, but sometimes a stack will get left in the middle of no where, but more than not, me leaving a stack somewhere has helped me.

Such as, if a revolt spawned.

Although my ottoman game, after conquering the whole of the GH, mamluks and a large chunk of the timurids, it just turned into whack-a-mole and foolsih European crusauders.

Infact after winning a war against France, Austria, Poland, Bohemia and Venice. 4/5 of which bordered me (Venice didn't border me). It was getting to the point where I was invincible.

  8. The thing about the byzantine empire is that it's all just waiting for when to pounce.

(When their armies have all left the greek side and are probably dealing with the Timurids.) You also have to hope you are not the first nation they declare on, because you will lose no matter what.

Your army wont even matter, your navy is your focal point really, if you can keep their armies out of Greece, you can slowly conquer it and drive up their warscore until they agree to you getting pretty much all their greek territories.

My aragon game I played ages ago, which I have yet to finish was going fantastic, until the AI derped and cost me -5 stab hit, after I just conquered a few non cored castillian provinces.

I had a really good game going as TO, had Lithuania as my vassal, but then a coalition of pretty much every bordering nation wanted my land, as well as GH. And then it never saved, when I wanted it to save and I lost that save game.

  9. So my headphones decide to break for pretty much no reason. They stopped working when I loaded up tf2 and only worked if I held the wire in a certain way, and when I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it seems it's fully stopped working. Except for some odd reason, the microphone still works.

Anywho, does anyone know a nice cheap pair of headphones that are durable? These headphones pretty much lasted 3 months...

  10. You know, I love how the school system works here, you don't sign up for classes, you sign up for a topic and your classes revolve around that. And there's no other groups or anything like that, you've got all of the other people in your class in all of your classes, apart from gym where there are two other classes there at the same time. It's simple and it works.

Also gym is the only class that we have outside our usual classroom.

That is pretty much how British school works until GCSE when you actually begin to pick your subjects (year 10). Even then, in my school you were placed in a group that you take a few of your subjects with.

For us it was ICT, RE, PE. The three "enthusiast" groups you could do.

  11. My school got my time table wrong, and I think they've done it again!

I was going to take another AS as I went into A2, but they said I haven't signed up for it. So I said can I, and they said it's probably full come back later.

Sigh, hopefully if I don't get in, it wont effect my chances of going into uni

  12. Seems like a huge waste.

    For many reasons.

The amount of food we could get for 4,000 gp is enough for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong campaign.

We could go hunting for food too.

And we don't really have a problem with eat and drink times as last time we played pathfinder we would camp a good amount.

  13. Would you mind helping me later? I'm likely going to be making a paintball turret at school and it will most likely have to be controlled by visual basic through a USB card.

Visual basic is a lot easier than you think. Once you learn the syntax then you have already learned the language. Remembering all of the commands and such isn't really THAT necessary, and if I ever encounter a problem I look at forums for answers.

  14. I know some visual basic which is a good starter language to learn the way code sort of looks, and how you write it. As the way code writing goes, the languages all share some common traits.

Also to anyone who has watched the new Doctor who episode

    [hide]

PRETTY MUCH JUST AS PLANNED THE EPISODE. I like how they are starting to sum of the Riversong plot.

    It's getting really good

One thing I regret is how they really are changing the characters unexpectedly.

  15. To people who like reddit

    IBS_114.jpg

    There you go.

And to mather, you are AWARE that you were doing something, and that blamed it on your mental disease, so if you were fully concious the whole time, why continue?

  16. MSN, and all the convos that follow with it.

    Firefox

    Steam

    Yeah that's the norm.

If I've been using the computer for a while it starts to become like this

    MSN

    Firefox

    Steam, Friends, Servers, Library

A file with a bunch of images in them
