Jen tries to add a small blade thingy on the side of her bow, then tests it out on a target (firing the bow, and cutting with the edge).

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I expected that Japan would've been destroyed, one way or another. After all, that's generally what happens when you commit mass genocide. I think the only way the attack backfired was that it hit unintended targets, and that it will probaly be reversed. (Which is a good thing, but I still wanted to hit Australia, Italy, and Turkey either way, since I knew you would just keep getting stronger and that I had one last chance before that).

Would it be possible to calculate the fire bombing, regardless if the anthrax attack actually happened or not? I don't think that would be overpowered, and fire doesn't spread TOO far out of the borders.

Nah, I guess the ban was a good thing. I was getting a bit too involved in the game. Anyways, I was just mad that I was being portrayed as evil when Italy was the one that was invading. I was considering sending in my fleet, but then they would've been shot down by ICBMs, which are a fraction of the price. So I just went ahead and launched my attack all-out, since killing a few civilians seems to generate the same amount of uproar as massacring a continent.

Jen attempts to create special armor piercing ice arrows. She practices with these on the original targets, while practicing the normal ice arrows on smaller targets. Then Jen checks her ice altar thingy to see if it attracted anything. ^ She tries again

Sounds fun, permission to join? I'm assuming this actually has rules and there aren't any superweapons, right? This seems more structured, and easier to keep up with. The even better part is that since everything is built in a framework, there's absolutely no arguments! :)

I wasn't trying to win. I was trying to finally get payback for the invasion you launched on me. I'm reminded of the words of Rocco, who once said that I should act like a superpower and defend myself. As I quickly discovered, an uber navy does not help when the enemy has uber weapons that they can use on you. So I went with my weapon of last resort, which was basically an unreasonable super weapon in itself, to either completely wipe you out or have it completely ignored, to show that superweapons are stupid for the game. Basically, point is that ICBMs were unreasonable (in my opinion, not really the point at the moment), so I decided to go with my own unreasonable weapon. Since I have sacrificed myself to prove this point, I think that the anthrax weapons should be "reversed" as if it didn't happen, but the firebombing should still be calculated. Japan should just be a fiercely isolationist country when played by the moderator, who commits total war when attacked.

I didn't try to destroy the thread. I just wasn't aware that anthrax actually spreads. I was under the impression that I was only blowing up three countries, the ones which I had...difficulties with, so I figured I might as well retaliate. Also, don't you think that a single flight of a stratos jet is feasible for a country that despite losing 99%+ of its population, still has stockpiles of things lying around to be used? There's a tankard of fuel here, some maintanance kits here, and some bioweapon stores here. Then you launch a secondary attack. And about no United States, I meant the Federation. Besides, if we're going to live in a post-apocalyptic world, then doesn't it make sense for everyone to be destroyed? Hopefully not Brazil though, since I went ahead and sent that vaccine over there. Well, we told you several times. You're just an idiot. As for the Federation, there is no such thing. It all fell apart. If we're going to live in a post-apocalyptic world? Everyone should be destroyed except Brazil? You just contradicted yourself. Seriously, Retech, you don't know how close you are from getting kicked off the thread. No one here really likes you that much (although we tolerate you to a certain extent), but I would rather lose you than have everyone get pissed off and leave because you just kicked everyone out. So, I'm going to have to stop this here and now... Actually, yeah, you're kicked off because you can't listen to anything that anyone says. Well, then I will see you later. Like I said before, I wasn't trying to blow up everyone, but it happened, so what can I do to change it? EDIT: Wasn't. Don't know why I said was. Oh well, that was my last post, don't want to break the rules.

But, I haven't accomplished my goal of destroying the United States. That was going to be my second target. :( Oh Archi, whatever Doom does, the fire bombing on the US continues, and if she fufills the criteria set out in the post, then commence the attack please. (Note I am not attacking you) Oh yes, and post-apocalypta might still not be fair. After all, my active personnel which amounted to half my military had chemical-bio suits on during the anthrax attack (they were attacking Indonesia at the time, so it figures that they were wearing standard issue protection). Well, half of the navy. Army never got any suits. -------- Japan sends Brazil a copy of the vaccine, which is far more effective because after all, the Japanese developed in when they were making the anthrax. Unfortunately, they didn't make much of it, so it couldn't save many lives. The vaccine is transported in a vaccuum lock, and it was completely decontaminated. Just incase though, Brazil is advised to completely decontaminate it again in the middle of the ocean.

Mission accomplished soldiers. Good work! Japan now has the highest ratio of soldiers to people: 500 for every 1000. This was because the navy on active service and the stratos jet pilots were wearing Hazmat suits. Poor army, there wasn't enough for them. Doom, I'm counting on you to wipe out the United States and win the game. If you won't, then I will be launching anthrax there too. I still have an odd 250 stratos jets or so. ------ I guess I fufilled my prediction. There would be apocalypse soon enough.

Victory! I'll be keeping Japan, and awaiting retaliation. :P

Remember to bring a coat! Actually, I will task Poseidon with getting the fur for it. Anyways, the tower isn't stable. I'll make an igloo. :P -- Gotta go for the night. Hope we have a fun new session tomorrow. :)

Of course they'll leave when they get stronger. That's the whole point of apprenticeship. Besides, by the time they're strong enough, they will have a toolkit of items from their apprentice days.
-
Dungeoneering
Well you get an apprentice...which generally means he can do things for you. I will task him with chopping ten trees! (Useful, maybe?)

Okay....don't really want to go to the afterlife. :P

It makes you fly? What? Is it a levitating metal? -brain flash- You could make levitating platforms in the arena using those!

If it was an ice magic metal, or a restorative metal, then I would kill for it. -hint hint wink wink-

Which should I take? Gold! Don't you know how much pure gold is worth, in a giant bar!

Ross got a headache, so there wasn't a session. We're just talking. Oh, Nex here wants to learn Sound magic and Water magic. Want to teach him together?

I would charge in and blow up his mine. :P

Personally, I would get mystril. Otherwise, maybe that thing that makes you invisible (Grim, what's it called?)
-
Dungeoneering
Oh yes, when you come to my tower tomorrow Nex (it's an ice tower ontop of a mountain, with an icy staircase leading up to it. It has a permanent snowstorm on top, the only place with snow for miles, so you can't miss it), bring a coat! That's true. I wonder if my Ice wisp can get any stronger.

I just can't go into the tower or train with them. I can still communicate, ask for tasks, and they like from them. Besides, minions aren't that good anyways. I prefer an army of level 5 apprentices. :P
