  1. Grim, great history! There's just one small edit though. Jen has the heart that can go for any anti-magicks. Basically if I learned light, then I think I would automatically get dark. That's just so win. :)
  2. You have a more interesting backstory. :P Besides, apprenticeship is a good chance to learn skills without subject to death. Hopefully when we go wandering into the forest, we won't meet something too powerful. What do you say? :D
  3. Are you sure? I thought that as part of your backstory, you made music with your staff. Interested in a Cello?
  4. Apprentice is different from a servant. Besides, I think he has some admirable qualities for an apprentice.
  5. Or he could become my apprentice, and I can train him in the arts of water magic. :P
  6. Errrrr, I don't understand. You're letting him mess it up? Jen offers Nexaduro the chance to become her apprentice in water magic. In the course of the apprenticeship, he will hopefully learn up to level 5 water magicks.
  7. Maybe we could keep it small for the moment, and once it starts attracting attention, we could actually start building big things. For the moment, I think that stands and obstacles, with a fence would be adequate.
  8. Yes, win! Where would we build it though? I was thinking we could build it in the area of the mountain that we blew up. I was thinking that it could change for each match. Maybe we could have a jungle theme for one, a volcanic iceberg for another, or maybe even a ropes course one. Oooooooh, we could even have minions wandering around! I will go ahead and train my nature magic as well. ------ Maybe we could make some sort of way not to accidentaly kill each other...
  9. Maybe you could settle this in the arena?
  10. Oooooh, I had a great idea! We could have a super cool arena, but it would be made of several elements. The four corners could be ice, fire, light, and dark, with random stuff in the middle. Where would we build it though?
  11. Anyone who has played for less than a week is probaly quite vulnerable to be killed. Below level 3 magicks, there's a high chance of failing a cast and getting stabbed. (Lich btw) You're not exactly that close to being a lich yet...
  12. Maybe that's why you die so often. (Joke) --- If you found him when he was making it, then maybe intelligence, stealth, thievery, or sabotage? It's really arbitrary.
  13. Sounds interesting. I'd suggest that you learn magicks from someone who's experienced with them. You would want to talk with Kemios for Sound, Me for Water, and I think that the fire and light stuff could be relearned by yourself. Basically attempt basic activities on the stuff you want to learn. For example, attempt to heat water, or fill a glass with water. Most of us started with basic spells against weak monsters, so maybe the moderators would let you find a weak dungeon that you could attempt, to get used to it. Infact, I think that all the newbies should get a weak basic dungeon to learn on their feet, how to get started. It's like the starting dungeon we had.
  14. A teensie bit of an overreaction?
  15. Are you still the servant of that master person? Oh yes, I am offering apprenticeship in ice and water magicks, if anyone would like. It does involve that you head out on tasks for me though. :P
  16. ^ Icu would probaly crush you with multiple orbs of darkness, just like those Russian dolls that fit inside each other. :P
  17. Basically when a session begins, the moderator (Ross or Archi) announce it. Then you post an action, like "Nexaduro attempts to cut down a tree and fashion the wood into a bow." Then you wait for a few minutes and the moderator will respond to your post with everyone elses, giving you "exp" normally if you succeed. These come in tenths usually (0.1, or 0.5), and you generally learn better abilities are you pass every milestone (each individual level, and certain levels give some extra bonuses). I suggest that you look at the first few pages and the last few pages to see how it works.
  18. Look, Ross is looking at the thread! Oh, hiya Armisonus/Deathsinger
  19. I thought robots don't have headaches. :P
  20. Archi, I put the growth back at 5% after I discovered quite early on that you were going to penalize me for losing trade in the future, when I wasn't even adding the bonuses of trade while they were there. I didn't add the algae fuels or Honda-Toyota stuff into my GDP either, so I thought, why not get some benefits now if I'll be penalized later? Japan sends in a fleet to surround the entire Indonesian area (excluding Guinea), and begins assisting pro-Federation forces. Italy is warned to stay out of this, since as part of the Japanese doctrine, no Western power will be tolerated in South-Eastern Asia, without being attacked. Meanwhile, 200,000 Indonesian troops push into the Western part of Indonesia that isn't connected with mainland Asia, supported by logistical support from the Japanese navy (mainly small scale airstrikes against rebel fortifications that are in the jungle, and 5000 paratroopers). 150,000 Singaporean troops rush into the northern part of that, also assisted by Japanese logistical support. The Japanese navy has surrounded the small islands that are close to Australia (the ones in Indonesia, but that weren't part of the original arrangement). A small contingent of 5000 troops have landed to remove Japanese defences from the island, before leaving.
  21. The recession was -5%, but that cancels out growth, leaving stagnation of 0%. I forgot about the Pacific ocean one, but Japan switched its currency over to be based on the Argent a while ago, when Grim was going around convincing people to do that. What's PPP? ----- Gotta go for tonight. Be back tomorrow, when I'l go ahead and calculate it out.
  22. Oh, question. Does Madagascar count as an "African country" if we haven't really fully controlled it, but we're still heavily involved? --- Sorry, miscalculated. That's 1.1% GDP depletion until recession is over, assuming Madagascar doesn't count as an African country. If it does, then it's 0.7% reduction.
  23. Okay, so basically these are cumalative, correct? Japanese GDP has been hit, depleting at 0.8% yearly for 12 years or so, before the recession is over, then I will go ahead and recalculate that when that comes. Anyways, do crops in Japan fail? I was wondering, since the aquaponic thing was sorta designed to prevent this problem, since when water levels rise, so do the net thingies.
  24. I don't think Trident was an option. You can enter moves when the moderators hold a session. They'll announce when they do.
  25. Pssh. Efficiency is no object. SPACE EXPLORATION FTW Maybe you'll find the Space Nigerians from the last game.
