WoW went the same way, dont try to let runescape go the same way too please, familliars are for monster hunting and pvp minigames where no1 nerdrages if they die ( safe minigames ), dangerous pvp situations should be player only imo, if u agree to it in duels then yeh use it but if u wont duel without use of familiars your a sad bean tbh

in duels its pretty sad, wilderness u get a combat boost if u have a summoning familiar out tldr; wildy its fair, duels it isnt, unless they use 1 too

RAW, pking in high detail is pretty lame tbh, any other good recorders?

fraps isnt working for me, i think it can only record games like wow and stuff, u know how to make it work in rs?

well i have a 2000 pound laptop ( albeit it was 2 yrs ago ) but camtasia manages to lagg me, ill try fraps tho thanks

im thinking of recording my pking as its been goin pretty good, anyone know the best way to record it? i ideally dont want any lagg and still to have decent quality, any1 know what would fill this criteria?

thanks for the replys, im sorry i didnt make it clearer when i first posted, i did say that the buttons would be customizeable but i forgot to mention options to toggle it on/off. this should be introduced aswell as the bar for obvious personal choice reasons keybinds are a different problem all together, sadly as the game caters towards the less computer literate generation there can never be the same hi-tech macros or 80 different keybinds that wow has, which i accept but i dont think it should mean a quick access toolbar be disreguarded as it simply makes everything easier to use ( never a bad thing). Also in reguards to skillcaps and pking, it would just push it higher and would mean people venge spec comboing with more precision and easier to switch prayers on and eat faster vs rushers/pjers ( i dont know how any1 would hate this idea, unless they rush themseleves)

well although im not quite sure if its the fastest way, u could use ur range brawlers on the metal drags in the wildy i believe? if not just red drags and bury bones for prayer xp?

thats minimum drops tho, u can get as high as 17m in drops ( vesta long ) and its more common than most overpriced boss drops, and its not 2hrs work, its 2hrs standing in 1 spot watching tv or movies, effecitvely earning while u do it, if you cant see the difference then lulz, im not saying its the best long term moneymaking way but its definatly up there and it is by far the laziest way to get rich :) ( sometimes awfully quick) and you can meet friends doing it too!

For godsake don't do these two. Tricking is screwing up the economy like crazy and merchanting is only making the effects worse. If your going to make money don't trick or group merchant for it. There are far more reliable, more effective, more enjoyable and more worthwhile methods. Please don't screw up the economy any more then it already is. please tell me how anything other than merchanting is as effective as 76king at profit? i personally make about 2-5m in 5 mins work and for the ep problem just afk and watch tv/movie/vids

Basically i was a rs player till 07 then quit till xmas 09 and ive just started again, during this time i was an avid wow player and i realized when i came back to rs how hugely the rs ui needs to have the actionbar feature , obviously rebranded as something different to combat the ''copying '' taboo the actionbar put simply would be a simple strip of say 10-12 buttons in which u can drag different functions to so you dont have to constantly switch between different ui pages, for example: Vengence, accurate, aggresive, defensive, protect from melee, protect from mage, protect from range, food, alternate weapon, prayer pot, atk pot, str pot. this should be customizeable so you can have whatever you like on it and also a special attack bar just ontop of the bar so you can see how much u have and u can do an easy click to activate a special attack, this would completely remove the clunky ui that rs has been so horribly plagued with for so long, also an idea would be custom keybinds ontop actionbar buttons 1-12 eg button 1 is keybinded to 1, button two to 2 etc, please lets have your comments on this idea whether you agree on this or not, although i would ask in advance for all critisms to be constructive and to have a reason of why you wouldnt like this idea or feel it wouldnt be good, POST AWAY!

as a sidenote u can buy expensive items at minimum in g.e and sell them for max trade limit if u include a mintcake ( this is intended for people who have that 1 random mintcake from the q and dont divulge in junk trading, thus having little to no use for it) , i made 3m from doing it with an ags, just thought id share yet another use for it

do slayer, train def and ull get hp at the same time, win win win imo

i did actually forget about that extra ep, although im not sure i agree about the attack swap styles as isnt the reassurance that uve done everything u can to make the spec hit enough to not make u want to jump off a bridge if it doesnt, compared to being greedy with the damage and when it misses you feel like an absolute wiener for trying it?

id say going with drag bones would be better just because uve got no idea how gay it will be running normal bones to the altar teling back 5000000 times etc, as for the money im gnna have to give the answer that all others do, merchanting, however if you have no idea on how to do it or just dont like the risk involved u can always do what i do, 76k triangles, incase u didnt know of what it is ill explain it in tedious detail ;) you join a clan chat for people also looking for triangles ( personally i use clan chat k ep but im sure theres others, soz for advertising if its not allowed, im new :D ), you advertise ur cmbt lv and when uve found 2 other people, suggest meeting at the wilderness volcano, ( use a games necklace for an easy way to get there), once there organise an order, this should be something like ( player 1 kills player 2, player 2 kills player 3, player 3 kills player 1). when an orders done you should either go and bank all ur items APART from 76001 cash ( i use 80k just coz its easier and no risk of the dreaded '' dude i got no drops'' which can happen if u cut the limit very finely) and then go through the volcano and let them kills you, or if your killing before u die, go and get ur best armour and wep and a bit of food and they die in the same way explained above, when there just about dead turn protect from melee on and watch in delight as you receive between 300k to 17m in drops, this can be repeated many times but not with the same people due to death/drop limits on pking restrictions, good luck, and i hope i wrote every detail down about it so i havent left you with many nigeling questions, if you do have any please comment back and ill do my best to answer them :)

ahh [bleep] im such an idiot , i didnt say what cmbtlv im pking at ><, im 99 all combat stats, 123 without pouch combat level in bh +1 worlds, given this info u still think the extra accuracy given the defense levels im against is worse than the possiblity of hitting an extra 1 damage?
