Raver: You realize you did handicap yourself a little by setting youself up using your non dominant hand.. The currency system will take a while to implement and become accepted, But the laws go over rather well. Your Elite guard tell you that the weapons will be ready soon if allgoes well (5 turns) Grim: you are handed a list of what you need, but then you realize you packed some just in case you needed them. The scouting parties are set to finishing the town walls, and the cavalry master finds 50 new recruits and an older, but more skilled horse master who has agreed to teach recruits about horse fighting (a 20. lucky luck.) Retech: You realize that there were 5 vilages of about 100 people who took the vow. Your people easily supply you with what you need, and the elf goes out instead because the dwarf seems to have found a new type of metal.. (2 turns for reports on both fronts. +0.3 Persuasion) The archers are supplied, and begin guarding your town. Mather: You find some woodsman to do the task, but they tell you it will be a while before they can find trees in the wastes. (dangerous mission, Morale boost if completed.) The forts basic iner walls are complete, and outer walls are under construction.

K, Ravers offline, so three people in this post.. Retech: The goblin immediatly tells you that he doesnt need metal for the furnace, unless its going to be one using the magma from the volcano. He hands you a list of what he needs: 5 piles of logs 10 tanned hides several enchantable gems soil to plant on and stone. LOTS of stone The people you speak too imediatley swear fealty to you.. But they won't leave their homes. You will get a more stable suply of income than your just starting town could produce. Grim: The scouts have already returned. The reports say that they found no signs of oposition, but couldnt tell clearly. More scouting trips are required to find out what you need. The craftsmen are still setting up, but will come next turn. Mather: With you assiting the men, the fort goes up quickly, and skilled stone carvers wait to do as you bid. Walls are begining to be made, hunting has brought food to be stored, and farms are being seeded as you watch. Your Direwolf trainer says that a batch of puppies has arrived from a shipment.. The only one in a long while.

Alright then.. Retech: You make it back, but can scarecly remember the route, so you put it on a map (+0.1 mapping) Your elvin scout reports that there are several mountain elf villages. The goblin says he needs more materiels before he can make a furnace. Grim: Your clerics say they will need a scrying mirro each before they can do so. You instead send out several scouting parties to find what you need. Your prayers grant you a new insight to the ways of your clerics (+0.1 holy magic) Raver: Your ninjas quickly surpass you, and imediatley come up with an idea of new poison weapons. They will require your leave to do the research though (+0.1 sword fighting) Your constructions are complete, and the city begins to flourish. (a perfect 20, you lucky thing) Mather: Your men quickly find a usable stone quarry, And your first group of men gather ariund you as you take a gander at the remote icelands around you. The Direwolf trainer, surounded by his two best trained wolves, the archery master, the quarter master, and swords teacher, and the cavalry master. Your fortress is half constructed on a feasable spot with a hot spring for warmth... What shall it be called?

Grim. I meant the praries. You know exactly how many able bodies you have, but you don't know how many will be needed to take over and control even half a mile away from your cities. (oh, and you can each controll up to ten units in your army now. lucky rolls at the start.)

Alright then. Retech: Your dwarf begins a mine shaft in hopes of finding new metals.. The elven scouts will take 1 turn to report back.. And you and the troll find a rather small village filled with some armed guards and lots of villagers. The goblin very easily comes up with a pully system, and waits for more instructions. Grim: Your assisant says that he has no idea, They didn't count the amount of people in the grasslands. You'll have to send out scouting parties for the information. Raver: The guard proclaims your choice a good one... The dogs imediatley begin sparing, showing very real promise to become good shadow ninjas, or others that you may require.

Fine. They get bonuses as you said them, but slight bonuses. LEts get along then. Retech: as you view the vista to your new lands around the volcano, the first squad of your army gathers around. consisting of your aid, an Elite mountain elf sorceress of reputable skill, an intelligent Troll, a stalwart dwarf oof exceptional restraint with alcohol, And a goblinic inventor. They watch as the first few houses are constructed, the first food is being gathered, the frist temples set up. This shall be your new home.. What is it's name? (you rolled an 18, lucky bastard.) Grim: The men of the gods gather around you as you survey the city around your tower, small, but adequate. Your aid, 3 skilled kngihts, 2 Holy clerics of great import, and A skilled cavalry comander stand with you as you watch farms being planted, food being drawn in, traders hawking their wares, and men looking for recources. Your city had come up in such a fast time, you had not thought of a name.. What shall it be called? (a 19. the dice love you guys) Edit: hang on raver, ill have it posted in a sec.. Edit 2: Raver: Your new venture in the realm of the ninja is more.. Buisnessy than you would have thought. With your elite guard of shadow ninjas, (they get bonuses to assasinations and forest battles) numbering 4, and your other lesser ninja comanders, you watch as your head quarters is set up. You had not anticipated this as your next mission, so you hadn't thought of a name. What shall this place, and the company you now controll, be named?

Uh sure. It's going to be a bit more dificult tho. You could be the head assasin of a corporation, and go on missions yourself if you feel the need.. EDIT: Grim, barely. IT'll produce the same results, but unless it's humanoid or really big (bear sized or larger) then it's going to take a lot of animals.

I already effing agreed to that grim. Although they get a slightly reduced spell casting time, not much, but could be fatal in some cases. Retech, THOSE ARENT SPECIAL UNITS. But, the priestesses get a bonus in everything then, damage and defense. They are less flexable than most, so they can't be used in some fights. (feasably, i mean. Still able to be used, just.. Not a good choice) You two up for this?
-
Overlording 2
... Thats not a bonus, thats a special unit. A bonus would be like grim has for his special troops, a hatred for the undead. Epic damage bonus, but they suffer from being only one type of unit. Or a specialty in defense, or in magic, or something! I can't read minds through computor screens any betetr than face to face.

Argh, Techy, you aren't going to sway me. They will have some of those atributes if you upgrade them like that early on (or later on), but they start out as nuetral or very slightly atributed. And all the golems except for stone golems would require sacrifice, for Ice golems, an ice temple, and the magma golems you have covered with the volcano. And the empire is actually what you fight in Overlord two, the IRL game. So that may be a factor. Trolls you have covered with trapping, stone golems need stone masons, AND you still haven't chosen a bonus for your special units. Get someone else to paly and i'll start you out.

No, i forget to eat anyways. I just did it more often.

... Err, the goblins are weak. Because they are.. Cannon fodder?.. And thats what the sacrifice is for? Go ahead then, i just didn't make the connection. The others just dont get any bonuses. You need to specify a specific bonus for the special units, and those will slightly carry on to the Titans. Actually, the PvP isn't the problem. it's the excessive amounts of rage going on in the Tavern, and i really don't want people crying OP within the first few seconds of life. That's actually a great idea, the Player cooperation thing.. That could spice it up.

.. Tis no copy. (well, except it's copying the first one) Listen, I'm letting you have it, and the problems arent that huge... But i'm not letting you go off with the demnonic fire birds of doom without doing a bit of research first. Same with the others, you can have regular fieldable special units, and Titans. Titans will be your huge tanks, like the literal bear tank Mather or Grim made. The problems will only be aparent if you get a 3 or lower, you can upgrade troops and conditions to lower that down even lower. And some of the old rules still aply.

Yeah, i realized with the new feature of you guys being able to raid each other rather easily, having such a system as last time would be a bad idea. You can still make those, but it's got logistical problems that i'm basing off of my own experience from making these types of things (Simulators, i beleive). I'm not going to let you go scot free, or let you go without telling you the risks. But, i think i can start now if you guys want to.

I'm using a diferent die this time, Mather. And Tech, that won't work... If you have one special unit then the others are jsut general, but from where they are from they get a bonus. (ie, your troops are skilled at metal working and mountainous fighting, grims troops know cities and plains well. They are also pyromaniacs) Unless you spend a lot of time and recources, you can't have all those super fantastical troops. I will allow stone golems and trolls, somewhat weak goblins, dwarves and elves, but they won't get along that well, so your going to have morale issues. Really faulty army, but with time and recources (and luck. LOTS of it.) You can make it like you say..

Yeh, but those clerics are considered special units. Those units do, however, get ninja bonuses against undead armies, and the raisers of the dead. But it is confined to that unit only, so the others don't get any bonuses. Tradeoffs, see?
