here is a more in-depth view of different races but some of you may have complaints like having only one race makes runescape different, or better, but look at all the games that have different races, they are way more popular. then u may think what about the people who already have accounts? well, they will have the option when they log in when jagex releases the feature. now read: now you may think, about the people who already have their accounts, then choose say an elf, but then what about their advantages or disadvantages? well, say having an advantage skill (agility for elves) gives u 1.3x the amout of regular, and a disadvantage skill (mining for elves) gives you only .77x the regular amount. that means when u select to be an elf, your say 1 million mining exp will turn into 770,000 exp, lowering u a few levels, but your 1 million agility exp will become 1,300,000 exp, giving you a few levels. if you dont understand this, then ask me and i'll try again. NOTE: since humans are all-around, you wont gain or lose any exp. also, races are for f2p also!!! yay!!!! i think jagex should SERIOUSLY consider this, although it has been mentioned a thousand times. it could increase their popularity by double!

ok, my java was already enabled. and i already use the RS client anyways, about sun java, thats just what was downloaded from what i got from http://www.java.com. but i'll try playing on default java and see if it works. im just so frusterated cuz i have to get a combat level every 4 weeks for "the" futures but i cant with this lag

k no matter what i do, i always get lag. i run sun java cuz thats the only thing that will work for me, and when i go to "tools" there are no internet options tab so i cant untick sun java (i use firefox) anyways, almost no matter what, i have lag (windows xp) what can i do?

actually i wouldnt be surpirsed bubsa, unless farming and carpentry come out at the same time, along with POH's

we all are waiting for carpentry, and even though it may only be for p2p, im still going to put my 2 cents in. i think player owned houses will be a part of this new skill. of course, i think one log should make 2 planks of wood using a "saw", but the easiest thing to make should require lvl 3 to do, so u require a quest before you start, like helping a carpenter build a chair or something :P we will be able to make furniture for our houses, or myabe a whole new house! anyways, someone posted about player owned ships, but this is my idea. once u get like lvl 70 carpentry, u can make a little ship using 100 planks (stackable) and of course u can buy/sell ships. once at lvl 80, u can buld the medium ship, and at lvl 90, u can build a big ship. if you have a small boat, u can only travel along the coast, like going from port sarim to rimmington, medium ships could go to karamja or crandor, and big ships could get across from memebrs side to free side. of course, u can only access your ship from the last spot you docked it. for medium and big ships, u will need "soft cloth" which u can pick from cotton trees on karamja, then use a spinning wheel to make a sheet. a few sheets can make a sail. well thats my hopes anyway.

i actually like it, its different :) 9/10 and for the forums colour, you can change it, go to profile, and scroll down till it says Board Style (near bottom) and try out different schemes you think looks best for you
