I don't think I can run any other 3D games and I'm already playing on safe mode.

Hiya Tip.it. I'm Beeman95 but I'm usually called bee by everyone. I've been playing for about 3-4 years and I've loved almost every minute of it. I just moved from Michigan to Washington D.C and I'm a big soccer fan. Living in America it's hard to find a decent match but the local pub always had a game on in my hometown of Ann Arbor. What else can I say? I've reached the point where skilling takes more money than the meager amount that I have and I'm a bit confused about what to do but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I have kinda semi-quit before. There was a period of about half a year where I never went on Rs. I have a brother who is a retired player. Some of you may know Ctmixer but if you don't I can't blame you. I am in the eighth grade and I do good in school but I'm not exactly crazy about it, I like radio more than TV and I'm a hardcore democrat. I've always been a fan of sharp objects and things that go boom, and Liverpool Football Club even though they're going through a rough patch. So yeah that's pretty much it. If you're ever bored gimmie a ring or whatever. Proud to be a new tip.iter :thumbsup:

Hiya. Lately, starting about 2-3 days ago my Macbook Pro laptop has been reacting really badly to Runescape. Before this, it's run just fine and I'm stumped about what to do about it. It's not the website or anything else besides when I'm actually playing. It freezes and then the screen makes all these weird multicolored shapes in the middle of the screen. I have to hard reboot my computer every time and it's getting reeeeally annoying. What should I do? I'm grateful for any advice.

Hello fellow Tip.iters. Lately, starting a couple days ago, my Macbook pro laptop as been reacting really badly to Runescape. Not any of the applications or the website only when I'm actually playing. I am forced to hard-reboot my computer and this has caused some problems, namely dying in the Wildy because my account isn't logged out of, my computer is just off. Do you know what's going on? I would be grateful for any advice you can give me.

dungeoneering is possibly the worst idea jagex has ever had. worse than taking away free trade and the wild.

No matter how perfect they make the G.E the black market will always be there and have better deals.

There were lots of legit merchants, stakers, and pkers before the trade limit who made a ton, everyone wasn't lurers and scammers. I agree that there were legit merchants stakers etc, but they had other ways to make money. Free trade isn't a pkers only source of money.

Price ceiling and price floor is not too much of a problem, thats how real life stock exchange works as well (in fact, the good can be taken out of the market if it drop or rise too much). The initial price of a real life stock isnt set by us either, it is set by the stock proposer. Anyway, Jagex should stop pretending GE is a free market as its not and they should intervene if their initial price is far beyond the market price (ie: no trade). It have been done before on ash a year ago. The only thing I dont like much about GE is the quota of the maximum amount of goods you can buy/sell each day. With the current system ((Have a read on http://forum.tip.it/topic/282690-how-the-grand-exchange-fulfills-offers/), there is no point of doing so since the mass buyer would not get a trade faster than a small buyer nor the higher bidder would win. And besides, the buyer would simply ask someone to buy it for them or resort to black market or breaking rule 6. Don't the trade limits stop people with enough money to buy complete monopoly of an item? Or do you figure that it's so pointless that no-one would consider doing it?

It's not exactly hard to get to. The first varrock achievement diary gives you the ability to tele right at the G.Es doorstep. Also, isn't the G.E fun to go to? The highest density of players in most every world. It gives it a special shine.

The few people that said they didnt like the G.E said that they viewed it as taking the power away from the players and hampering the progress of item prices. They just saw the bad sides and don't even consider the positive things.

@ ragmar. Thanks for the welcome but while I agree with you, some may disagree about the merching thing. Many think it's destroying the Runescape economy.

Hiya. This is my first thread so please give me some pointers and feel free to criticize. I was relaxing at the G.E one day and I thought to myself, "What exactly has the G.E done to Runescape?" So I looked into it and here's what I've found. Most people I've talked to/interviewed have given me generally positive reviews, easier buying/selling etc. But every now and then I would find someone who didn't like the G.E at all. Some even told me that they had to find an entire new way to make money and generally play the game. Now if free trade was your only way to make money it couldn't have been that honest, but I still found this unnerving. These people were far and few between but these people have been more or less ignored when it came to doing something about the G.E. It all boils down to: What do you think about the G.E? How has it changed Runescape and is this change good or bad?

Making all weapons degrade would be a bad idea. The reason being, if you have a sword you don't have the advantage of attacking from long distance. And what about whips? How would they degrade with out having to replace the whip itself? Another thing about range, wouldn't bowstrings snap sometimes? You would have to add that factor also if you made weapon degrade.

At low levels melee is a better choice but as you get to higher and higher levels, range and magic get stronger until melee has no chance. The only way to have the CBT fair is to hybrid.

I like your suggestion and it's one of the best I've heard but it means that there is still hordes of overly powered Revs. I think they should be strong but what Pk'er has unlimited food, runes, and can walk through walls? Jagex should just make them a bit more realistic.

I like your theory but the chaos elemental doesnt seem to be guarding any one place. it kind of roams around, killing everybody. If it tended to lurk around, say maybe a cave or rift I think it would be more plausible. If zaros had anything like the stone of jas he wouldnt have had trouble with zamorak.

The thing that I just cant stand about pvp and that stuff is the people that use ice blitz or burst. I dont care if its effective. It just seems like there isnt anyway of winning. Where is the fun in that? it just kills me when i get enough extra cash to spend on one decent pvp trip and i get blitzed and i die within 6 hits at the most. I dont bother eating. Im ok with dying if its respectable but if you cant get a single hit on the other guy its just not even worth doing.
