  1. read the latest developer blog. any xp-enhancing items will either not give any extra xp, or give the usual xp on the double xp weekend
  2. if you have the slayer and combat levels required to kill Eddimu, then it just might drop a blood necklace. This is a definite 2nd bind, as it activates every 10 seconds, dealing 40 damage to any npc's adjacent to you and heals you for half the damage dealt.
  3. Jagex will soon enough open more methods of payment in other countries. While the above email relates only to South Africa, I did ask about other countries, and seeing as Asia most likely has a much bigger fan base than what my country has, it is without a doubt that they would expand there first. If you are not patient enough to wait, then I would suggest paying for a membership through a mail order. As for the topic of your post, I agree with you 100%
  4. Naw, I just do it all digitally on Gimp. I used to own a runescape fan art website, but due to inactivity and senior years in highschool I had to close it down. As of lately my photoshop has been acting unresponsive, so I'm just getting used to Gimp. As you can see from each picture, I've tried many different styles. This is just my way of experimenting before I make a final piece...Just to get the hang of things. :)
  5. how do you make it look so clean and crisp :(
  6. They already plan on doing exactly that. With an amulet, too. the Kharidian Achievement Diary is under development. Then they'll work on Morytania.
  7. Updated to include torso piece concept - made art anatomy errors on the arm, though.
  8. Complete Set Bonus for Gielenorian Adventurer's Set Attack Bonus Stab +95 Slash +104 Crush +41 Magic +41 Ranged +41 Defense Bonus Stab +290 Slash +283 Crush +263 Magic +72 Ranged +258 Summoning +146 Other Bonuses Strength +106 Ranged Strength +28 Prayer +58 Magic Strength +27
  9. The stats are calculated by negating the negative bonuses of each combination piece, I.E. if one of the helmet components has -13 magic, it will revert to 0. Then the stats of the components are added up, for example, two sword components have +48 and +20 strength respectively, the resulting strength bonus will be +68.
  10. I've updated the first post to include a cape. Track my progress on DeviantArt: http://impennetrate.deviantart.com/
  11. Now I'm done with my exams I can get to work on the other components of the armour. Thanks for all the positive feedback :D
  12. As would I :P @GuardKnox, thank you very much, that helmet is quite flattered! :P
  13. Much appreciated, thank you for the appraisal. :)
  14. Thanks for moving it for me, and thanks for the positive feedback! :P More still to come, however my next picture, is going to be disrupted by an exam...which I write in approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. Wish me luck! XD
  15. I know right? :P I'm imagining up some interesting concepts that replace the currently non-existent quest and achievement rewards, I'll use those as a basis to build on my idea, perhaps combine all the images I produce when I'm done and submit them to the players gallery :P
  16. Right, according to Mod Mark G, in a post he wrote a very long while ago, Jagex plans to release a full set of Achievement armour. This armour will have a combined set effect. However, Players do not like the armour due to the fact that it does not match in colour or proportion. I have seen an answer to this problem. Not too long ago, Jagex released a helmet called the Helmet of Trials. You may obtain it by talking to Xenia in lumbridge after having achieved 300 quest points. The helmet has no bonuses, and matches the colour scheme of the quest cape. Jagex have been posting on the forums that they want to release more quest-point milestone armour, the very next being an amulet. What happens when you combine the Achievement and Quest point armour, and perhaps throw in a useful quest item along with it, to create the most epic type of armour in the game? GIELINORIAN ADVENTURER'S ARMOUR. The complete set will match, and will look very epic indeed! Here's the Gielinorian Adventurer's Helmet I designed. :)
