I don't think anyone with capable intelligence would think you're copying them, as Dgs is also a common term for dungeons. Maybe not in the DGS community, but they aren't everyone.

This update is more or less an escape from grinding, a chance to have a bit of mind boggling fun. (The difficulty might vary on age, they do have to present it to a wide variety of ages) Just because you aren't looking forward to some fun, doesn't mean it's a bad update. I personally can't wait, I love riddles. It was a novel idea at first, but 7 days? Ugh. Let the shark jumping commence. Like I said, its a diversion from all the training; You don't need to take a full day to solve a riddle. Just take a break from your current project, recieve the riddle, spend a few minutes (give or take 30 minutes in worst case scenarios) then return to your project. I see no reason for cannibalistic aquatic suicide.

You failed to read any of my posts, my time has been wasted, good day fail. I have pked many many times and gone through several "Pures" over the years (including pre2006) To answer the OP, I think that its pure boredom and lack of skill that causes people to pk in such a way (taging off etc) because they're unable to kill someone their level or even a lower level by themself. To answer Elucin8er, I agree it was difficult to get kills back then and the reason for that was the lack of ko potential, so without that. Realizing this players made a few general rules that were never set in stone, but did help those who followed them get kills. If you followed the rules, it was out of respect that you'd want someone to do the same to you. But I think you can tell from how you post and by the picture provided earlier, that there is little respect now in the wilderness (if there ever was) But really, who cares if a 12-40 year old male or female somewhere else in the world you'll never meet, doesn't respect you? I read your entire post and it really has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, which was about being teamed unfairly in single way combat (in edge and at mage bank). He DID ask what old and new players thought of this, and you took the thread over into a honor rule flame war. Try to stick on topic and when people make a counterarguement to something you say, calling them a fail or anything else in that light just shows you're too stubborn and silly to accept anything other than your own opinion. Because anyone who doesn't share your opinion is an idiot. The point of pking has usually been about killing another person BEFORE he fled/tellied/screen hopped or whatever you want to call it. Yes people safed (and still safe) and teleported (and still do). There hasn't really been any transition from "Old School" pking and "Prod pking" other than the maturity and silliness that people have been bringing into the game.

Thats a small relief. I was only playing fist of guthix so I'm not worried about safety or such, but it's nice to see that Jagex cares about its players enough to issue a small rollback. Edit: Didn't you just get that hex, Smelly?

Seems like a number of servers, including high risk pvp worlds, are offline. Think this will affect anyone who was in combat? I wonder since -everyone- on said worlds would be dc'd and I'm unsure if they would continue to engage in combat.

World 92 just went offline and such isn't uncommon. However I'm unable to log into my account 20 minutes later. I'm not asking for help or advice as I'm sure that I'll be able to log back in when world 92 is restored, but I was curious if this is a common phenomenon or not.

It's not really a "Scam" email since they clearly state they're taking your account. "Advanced Begging" sounds more appropriate.
