I think the math is relevant, although agonising over 147K or 140K to me seems a bit gratuitous, but still relevant I suppose. If you don't like specific types of posts (e.g. calculations), then you're free to skip them and focus on discussion that pertains to your interests. On another note: Paperbag, what are you up to? Are you spending your time at that new Livid Farm?

Bear in mind that that is what he had in 2007/early 2008, which is extremely high for the time, since gold now is worth 10% of what it was then. This was even before the bank tabs update (sometime in 2008), and so he hadn't even had that much opportunity to GE merchant, which we all know is how so many players accumulated their wealth. Hence, I'm sure he's much more wealthy now even with inflation. It seems logical that a person capable of making money would be the first to achieve the very-expensive 200M construction.

I wish Neo Qdon (Simon) had the goal of 200M all skills :( He certainly has the funds lol

Langer, do you think Green will get knocked off any time soon? Or do you think having Lan below her and the inactive Gertjaars just above her is enough to keep her in the Top 15 for a while?

I wasn't suggesting it's equivalent to firemaking pro method at G.E., but I think it presents a nice alternative - faster than normal and more sustainable than the G.E. method (I found it really difficult to maintain that G.E. method for too long, even if it is quite fun in the beginning) Kingduffy is still going Nex :o

I have a question: Who is this 398573520683 guy, and where did he come from all of a sudden? lol EDIT: This seems like a good firemaking method if you cannot be bothered with all the skillful clicking (admittedly, Enrix E B is very lazy in his firemaking in this video, with lots of stuff-ups, but the teleporting Moonclan seems to put you right outside the bank, and the Yak allows for fewer loads needing to be done) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BV5bPeglqs

Poor Kingduffy - he'll never be able to get top 100 in his skills simultaneously now (>100 200m's in Dungeoneering).

Especially good update this week, Langer :P Grats to Telmo!! @Paperbag (I've always wanted to post Shakespeare somewhere): To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them. To die: to sleep; No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache, and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream: aye, there's the rub; For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause: there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life; For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of despised love, the law's delay, The insolence of office, and the spurns That patient merit of the unworthy takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life, But that the dread of something after death, The undiscover'd country from whose bourn No traveler returns, puzzles the will, And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all, And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprise of great pitch and moment With this regard their currents turn awry And lose the name of action. -- Soft you now, The fair Ophelia! -- Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remembered. Life may seem bad at the moment, but death is in all cases worse. In life, there's always something to strive for, in death there's no opportunity for striving but only regret of sins and giving up.

200M in all Skills
He will!! He WANTS to be seen as no contender. @Leik- Darn, it was posted in the "Everyone" section; but perhaps he thought it wasn't - and do you need members to post in HLF? Because he has been posting there I've heard

200M in all Skills
I saw he edited his first post of his Mega Slayer Guide to about effigies in March (the effigy-collecting skill he replaced slayer with, or something similar). To me, this suggests he bought membership for this petty reason. Either that, or he won it from Jagex for some reason. But check out his first post of his guide to Slayer and you'll see the date editted.

Yeah, I agree. Please remove the Matt258 link at the bottom of the page if possible :P More on topic: I wonder if this clan thing will have much of an effect on the top players.

What? Anyway, I wonder if we'll see people 200M-ing Farming with this new activity............. Or at least using it til 99

200M in all Skills
I think a lot of people make these videos, basing the "Xp rate" on around twenty minutes or less of data. Hence anything like 120k xp/h might be very unrealistic, even if it is possible. Also, I'd join that clan, but the requirements are so high lol

Woo Drumgun didn't die after all :P What do the produce points do for the activity? If they're good, the points + 100K xp/hr in a few skills could be quite efficient?

From BTS: "Dying in RuneScape will become slightly less painful later this month as we introduce the concept of Limbo. If you die in any unsafe, non-PVP area, you will be prompted to choose which items you retain (following the existing rules for how many items you keep on death); also, certain types of items will always be kept on death most notably coins, but also most quest-specific items and common, low-value items such as tinderboxes, fishing rods and the like. You will then be given a choice of where you respawn be that any of the respawn points youve unlocked (i.e. Lumbridge, Falador, Camelot or Soul Wars) or the last respawn hub you passed through (typically, the last major settlement you visited). Once you have respawned, youll be free to hunt down your gravestone to attempt to retrieve those items you did not keep. Please note that the death mechanic used in the Wilderness and other dangerous PvP activities will not be changing from how it currently is, other than that your most valuable items will be decided by their Grand Exchange guide price, not their alch value." "Poor Pauline Polaris, utterly charmed by Lokar, has been left to tend the Livid Farm on Lunar Isle. Help her out by using your lunar spells to fertilise the soil, cure the livid, bunch them together, fix fenceposts and energise Pauline, and you will receive Magic, Farming, Crafting, Construction and Agility XP for doing so. The Livid Farm is ideal for those looking to train a number of skills at once, and is fast-paced, with the plants growing and being harvested in a matter of seconds." Will Lunar Farm speed up some Agility and Farming? Will this first update make it so rich players who slack off while chinning monkeys, for instance, will face no consequences? The second update sounds good, but the first sounds rubbish.

I guess this nerf was bound to happen. Is there any benefit to fishing in there now?

Drumgun said this on that thread: "Well, not too worried about fish tbh. Theres some studying and other irl stuff coming up so I'll be enjoying rocktails alot. I do play alot of other games aswell (pile of consoles standing next to me lol) so yup, but it'll take quite long yeah. Tds to gain 4b geepees and use the effigies on fish, then I'll have enough money for pray craft and fm + a nice chunk of fish exp. Wc and fletch will be done fast but I need to leave 1 of the 2 open for them effigies (wc/fletch choice), so probly leaving wc open for a long while, no interesting ranks to gain from that anyway. Pretty sure I'll get this done in 1 year, if not then it'll likely be fishing that I'll still be working on. If I'm still liking Rs/if it still exists by then (lol)/if there's enough time left I might get smith and mining for fun too. But don't hold me to that - idk if I'll get around to it. And I guess I need to fit dung somewhere in there...that depends on gf really, since I only dung with her in the team "

Before, people were talking about how long would it take to max from level 1 everything. According to a RWT site (I don't support this sort of idiotic practice, but I was bored and googled it, and I think it provides an interesting estimation of the time required to max), it would take 17655.38 hours of training and the time to make 1184.874M before doing anything That is about 2 yrs and 5.15643458 days straight of playing, but I'm sure these sites don't do the optimal and most efficient methods. Such an account would apparently be worth a whopping $13888 on the black market.
