  1. So true. Fun and sanity > dementia and obsessive compulsive uber-efficiency (but efficiency is really a misnomer here, since generally these methods are unable to be sustained for great periods of time, and can thus be classified as inefficient in the greater scheme of things) On a related note, I am now coining the term OCEUD - Obsessive Compulsive Uber-Efficiency Disorder
  2. Easily? Drum had 46m Xp stored in Str and then used blues for the rest of the day. There's no "easily". If anything, he'd fall just short of the record. Sorry, 'easily' wasn't the best choice of words. But if he does collect 100 more effigies, as some have suggested he might, he would gain 36 853 743xp from 267 alone. That leaves around 51M experience for the rest of the day. I'm sure he picks up his blues, but I don't know the xp/hr for them at 99 Summoning so you could be right that he'd still fall just short. I do believe though, that if he did want the record, he would be capable of devising a method to attain it that includes his effigies and his charms, as well as perhaps something else (fletching rune bolts while summoning? I don't know...). A few things about the spreadsheet (I know this has been done to death...): I don't think even Jebrim gets 85,000xp/hr at extended barbarian, and I think people wanting 200M thieving xp will generally now use the new blackjacking method of training (I don't know much about it) that is gained by completing "Do No Evil", instead of training with pyramid plunder. I've heard many reports that this new method of thieving training is over 300,000xp/hr.
  3. I honestly hope that no one ever does that effigy cavecrawler thing. The point of the game is, of course, fun, and I don't think anyone could argue they find that method of training much fun. OCD would be my diagnosis. Regarding Tezz's effigies, firstly, I must say that is impressive. Assuming all effigy comboes are available, Each effigy gives 15 000 + 20 000 + 25 000 + 30 000 + 48 029 (if used on a 99). This is a massive 138 029 experience per effigy. 167 * 138 029 = 23 050 843 xp for all That is phenomenal. With such an amount of xp in such a short time, Tezz could easily smash Drumgun's daily xp record of 87 649 738, if he then proceeds to use his stored charms.
  4. I second the congratulations!! Drumgun, achieve 200M prayer, and then 200M slayer to become the ultimate master of Runescape combat. @tuggernongy, people do indeed get demotivated from hunting for items and not receiving them. This is why, after completing hundreds of clue scrolls for no great reward, people often give them up altogether, and also why many prefer skilling or merchanting for their cash, having not had any luck in getting a visage or a hilt in the past.
  5. You going to trim armor? :) He stole my mithril armour!
  6. inb4jdela questions etc (sorry, just thought I'd try this once :P)
  7. People say merchanting isn't respectable, but to me, I see nothing wrong with it - it's the easiest way to make billions that is not breaking the rules (eg real world trading). Begging is a lowly activity though, especially when you have the skills to get heaps of cash yourself through skills rather than merchanting (if you have issues with it).
  8. In terms of players with most widespread xp over stats, I would've said Zarfot, Kingduffy, and Skiller. It's interesting to note with that Elvis and Elias are also players that have widespread xp. FinallyOnTop is the only player to feature in all three lists, and hence I daresay he is a serious contender (admittedly, though, you did extend the first list to seven, and he is seventh on that one). Skiller is also impressive in those lists, and I suspect he has five or six skills at 200M xp, so he would be not far down on the third list. Drumgun has already been established much as competitive, so I really need not say that he is also represented well on those lists.
  9. Playtime is always going to be variable for the top players from day to day, unless they each have a particularly subservient chef at their disposal and never leave the house. Also, @Pluckey, Glaceon ftw (best Eevee evolution, in my opinion)!
  10. On a side note, those charms look delicious :ohnoes:
  11. Copy of the "Quickscoping is back" thing? Great video. :D:D:D
  12. Firstly, this is a really great thread, and I'm simply amazed some people have so much determination. After reading through it, I believe Drumgun has a good chance at stealing the title. Sure, he isn't as *efficient* as some, but he moves at a remarkable pace. :)
