  1. From the data we have so far, it appears that anyone who is capable of achieving 200m in all skills would be overcome by their ego and then fail to get the final xp.

As of right now, it looks like it's impossible to get 200m in all skills.

You must be kidding right... it's very possible, as possible than suomi instead of leveling up his RS07 account, he could instead lvl up that one xp

We have 200m all ok, OK? 99.99999998% percentage, rounded up it's OVER

Sorry but Suomi still needs 0.000003333333333 hours to achieve 200m XP in all skills. This make him 99.9999999830537% done.

Those numbers are actually accurate, good fight.

Its been 0.000003333333333 hours since your post and he didnt get it yet :(

  2. In case you were wondering, Magic now works very much like Ranged. Spells are like your ammo, and staves have their own weapon damage now. Spell damage scaling seems to have been fixed too, which is good. It now simply scales with one damage per level.

Metamorphosis still boosts damage by 25%, not by 50%. Wild Magic now hits twice again, for up to 219% spell damage each.

But, unsurprisingly, there is a new problem now. Magical prayers don't affect damage anymore... Lol.

    Finally!
  3. Doubt it, if someone spends that many hours for a cape.. on a game.. no just no. Its for the recognition. Same reason people get 200ms, no other reason for that at all.

Take the highscores away from this game and see how successful it would've been. No one competing to be in the spotlight then.

Suomi said he'd be happier if there was no hiscores :)
  4. Thankfully the slayer update didn't add any new tasks to kuradal. I believe that doing tasks in slayer tower is an extra 20% to slayer xp. I don't think its worth doing abberant spectres there but gargoyles spawns are similar to kuradal's dungeon. Nechs are less cramped than in the chaos tunnels which makes hurricane and quake worse, abyssal demons will probably be worth doing there. When the tower isn't crowded I'll test the tasks and change their xp per kill if necessary.

  5. How is it that top players are able to power through Slayer, WC, Agility, Thieving, Mining and all those click intense skills, but then suddenly c2 fishing is too much for them?

Maybe because there are no afk alternatives to agility and thieving. I feel you just put the others in there because they are slow, but players use afk methods for them.

  6. I'm curious about why suomi said he wouldn't have to study or work again.

He doesn't have to work, because he himself claimed that he has worked a lot when he was young/before he started HC'ing the shit out of RS. There is also a myth going around, which says that Suomi got a shitload of cash from heritage. I don't know if the latter is right, maybe Suomi will confirm this.

About the studying part, I know some facts about his study-life, I've heard this from a person who has met Suomi IRL, but because I respect other people's privacy, I'm not going to reveal anything about that. Unless Suomi allows it, or he himself says something about that.

He did say he worked a lot to earn money when he was younger but he couldn't have earned that much

I remember in lemar's troll video of "suomi live commentary" he said suomi's parents won the lottery but that was just a troll :P

  7. Why not?

I think Jagex wants me to do that so I would hint people to buy more spins. Remember guys that members get 2 spins every day and if you get premium membership you get 3 free spins a day, Jagex so generous!

I think the symbolism of not using a sof lamp could only be good.

I'm glad you are in good humour about jagex being sellouts

  8. Le quote train [hide]

Everyone in this thread would accept a 100M donation in a heartbeat, so that argument is invalid

    Everyone minus one.

And don't way it would be different if I was actually in the situation because I have been there.

If that's truly the case, then you're either on a "do-it-yourself" path, a path that is NOT followed by every player, and while fun, is quite frivolous, meaning that it is not logical for you to pretentiously compare yourself to someone who plays the game by making the best use of its features. That's the same as comparing a level 3 skiller to a player that trains combat - the skiller is putting that goal in front of themselves, and has no one to blame if it's more difficult.

The second reason you wouldn't accept donations is a psychological one - it's not that you don't want the money/have an interest in it, but rather you're denying it for the sake of being able to say you denied it. It's basic human psychology - If I offered the money to you right now, you'd say no, just because you don't want me to think that you'd ever accept it. But if someone offered such a large sum of money to you, and you know that no one would ever find out, unless you don't accept it for the previous reason I mentioned, you would be more than willing to take it.

No I just prefer to earn things myself, you made all the wrong assumptions about my personality. Whether people find out or not is irrelevant because I know that I took it. I am not one of those players who complains about the game getting easier with updates such as runespan, nor am I the type of player who boasts "I did this when it was hard", I am proud of the achievements that I did at the time. Why must people think that runescape is a game of dominance?

    [/hide]

If you didn't care whether or not people knew you took it, you wouldn't have responded in such a defensive manner. You said that you prefer to earn everything yourself, and all I'm saying is that you're doing that not because you find it amoral to accept donations, but because your goal is to do so without them.

I responded defensively to you stereotyping people, not to my own stance on the issue. I do find it amoral to accept donations and as such my was to get to where I am without them, where are you getting these conclusions from? I don't only reject donations in runescape. And whatever my reason is for rejecting it your post generalising all the people on this thread was wrong.

Suomi said that accepting donations was a mistake, so if he was able to wind back time that would be 2 posters on this thread.

^Aren't you the one who claimed that everyone in this thread would accept a 100M donation in a heartbeat?

I was, and I completely realize how poorly worded that was. I intended to say that one would want the 100M, not necessarily accept it.

That is not what you intended to say. The post you replied to said "(who doesn't want free money right?)" in it- to which you replied "Everyone in this thread would accept a 100M donation in a heartbeat, so that argument is invalid" and now you are saying that what you intended to say was that anyone on this thread would want free money. You are twisting your words to suit the situation.

It's one thing to accept money freely given (who doesn't like free money?), but begging on video for donations or even saying/implying you accept them is pathetic. But is it efficient? Depends on how low of a person you are.

Ok, so you admit that accepting donations it is logical and efficient, you just don't like it. Glad we cleared that up. Also, check your inbox.

Taking donations is efficient depending on your goals.

  10. Youtube shoutouts are not RWT. Alkan doesn't pay real money for his gp, he just advertises on his channel. You don't need to be successful IRL to have a successful YT channel.

Outside of rs is real life.

Hardly, there is plenty of stuff that is outside of RS but isn't part of real life. Other MMOs, pen and paper RPGs etc.

Its quite obvious that the old rwt rule is meant to mean you shouldn't exchange something outside rs for something inside rs. The term "real life" is just a simple term chosen because it fits the most foreseeable types of rwt.
