Earlier sith and I were discussing if I could get the needed 50k xp from 57 to 58 before server maintenance. That was 2 hours, 45 minutes before it was due to start. I dinged 58 with 75 minutes to spare. It's ridiculous how fast you can level, as a Warlock, and with the new xp.

Good lord, I can't believe how fast you got that thing geared. Sure, some of it is rubbish, but still, you're Kara/Gruul viable already, and what the hell, T4 gloves?

I disagree but I think you've PvP'd more than I have, so I won't rubbish your opinion. FWIW I hate fighting Warlocks and Hunters equally on my Rogue.

..and for rogues the opposite works true.. BM is the easier spec to beat, MM/Survival is where the pain is. My old GM was a real Hunter guru, he was specced MM with some Survival, and I never ever beat him once in a duel, nor did any of the other rogues in our guild. Actually the only person I did ever see beat him was a Ret Pally, another crazy-knowledge guidlie. Btw, halfway into 50 and I have just tipped over 6 days played. :lol:

I know in endgame, Beast-spec Hunters are hard as hell to kill as a Warlock.

How long is a piece of string? Many games have playerbases that claim their games are similar and/or better but in my opinion everything else pales in comparison, and I've tried a few other games. Download the trial and see if you like it.

Wind Serpents and Scorpids were the best for endgame before but I think they've had all the fun nerfed out of them.

I love this part of STV. You take on about 10 quests at once and do them all, without turning them in, in one long lap. Then turn them all in and watch your XP go bezerk.

Why do you think that they're not like instruments you must learn to know? It's not like they have an "on/off" button that they need to press, and then it comes out the way it does. Exactly. It's all done on-the-fly, they bring in loops and samples as they are performing. Although after playing the same show for almost three years you'd expect it to become second nature.. I heard they use Ableton Live and a number of Macs, yet they somehow remotely access them...what was I reading?? No idea but that's pretty cool, I use Ableton but I'm sure I only scratch the surface of its capabilities.

So you're going to be playing on a crap private server then, thats the only way to play for free. :roll: Why would it be crap? It has all the same stuff right? Private servers are pretty much illegal, privatly owned servers of WoW. They support something (maybe) like a hundred people, and don't have everything working. The main thing is that they are equal to piracy and just really, really suck. You won't get a good game experience with it, trust me. I've played private servers in depth, and while they do provide free play, most of the instances aren't scripted (hands up if you've killed Illidan? I have.. he's a tank 'n' spank on Ascent emulator), and the bigger ones have reasonably good communities, there are plenty of drawbacks. They are filled with bugs, no matter how much the emu community works on the core. As such, being filled with bugs means they are filled with bug abusers. You will almost never have a fair fight in world PvP. Not only that, being run by what are essentially amateurs, means anything can happen. The one I was playing on right before I reactivated my account, one of the admins had a fight with the owner, so he went nuts and rehashed the server, giving everyone the power to .GM themselves (make themself a GM), then published every account and password on the website. It was chaos. Dinged 42 and mostly finished with the new quests in Dustwallow marsh, although I skipped some that were green. I'm not gonna get much play done in the next 48 hours though.

PM! You and Swt can be my pets. You just need to get it trained, go into Stormwind and ask a guard where a skinning trainer is. And I dunno how many times we need to say this, but you don't need to feel silly when asking questions. WoW is nothing like RS. People will rarely laugh at you for asking such a question (unless you do it in the trade channel.. don't do that).

Yes, there, also 4 or 5 quests in STV are borked, along with one I just found in Badlands.

I'm finding LOTS of bugged quests. 30-40 bracket.
