Yeah I'm about the same as that Nadril, with the same gear I was raiding in, regemmed - just under 9k hp, 1600ish AP and 22% crit. Hardly any +hit though, hehe.

In my opinion, almost all of the quests, in any zone, from levels 35 to.. maybe even 60, are not really worth doing. Rewards are too low around those levels.

Yeah the DPS has the hardest job in that fight - they really need to be on top of it, gear-wise and skill-wise.

See, you used your cloak too early - they want you to do that, its like a Pally blowing his bubble. One you've burned that cooldown, they can toy with you, like a kitten with a ball of wool. The worst thing is trying to get away from a group of players - try managing your cloak, evasion and sprint all at once. ;)

Warlocks are tough to fight but you can beat them, especially as a Rogue. Just as a quick example, Mr Lock has thrown a rack of DoT's on you, has given you his favourite toy, The Curse of the Fat Kid, and is running for dear life hoping that you will just trundle behind him slowly, like the dopey player he hopes you are. Before he gets too far away, you use your distract on him (yeah, it works out of stealth) and then hit sprint, catching up. Right as you approach him you Cloak his DoT's off, and blind/bandage, watching the timer carefully. Before it wears off, you need to get a gouge on him, then a Mutilate/Kidney Shot combination off. It won't take long from there, so long as you keep your stunlock up. Of course, this is only a hypothetical, and I can see all the Warlocks among us cracking their knuckles.

Damn, lots of drama goin on. I was told that if I want to raid, I should find a new guild. Someone else was demoted and gquit.. man, I don't want to leave my guild but.. meh. The girl who quit told me that everyone basically laughs about me behind my back. I'm pretty upset about the whole thing. Just respecced into a PVP build anyway. Will see how it goes for a while, and still working on my druid (level 32 right now).

It's not consistent though, that's the problem. Whats the DPS you get from start to end, over a long period of time is what I mean. Start parsing on the boss and at the end of the boss tell me what kind of DPS you have. Everyones DPS [bleep]es a bit but I want to know what you're getting at the end. Knowing the 'burst' you get isn't a big deal. Like I said last week, I end up only beating the healers.

My dps [bleep]es.. which is wrong, it should be smooth. I can crank out around 6-700 on boss fights, so long as I get the best position (ie: behind). On trash clears though I'm usually sitting around the 400 mark.

Two weeks. ;) Gonna get the sword instead, and use Vindicators with it. Might go for the MH after that. Anyways the reason I ask is because on average I am running on 15 FPS in outside settings. It's been suggested to me that it might be part of the reason I am not putting up the numbers that are needed. My machine is actually good, its just got a cheap video card in it. AMD64 Athlon 3800+. CPU overclocked and running at something like 2.94GHz (I don't recall exactly).. 2 Gig RAM. Anyways I'm going to buy the new card right now. Ciao. ;)

Can I ask, what kind of FOS do you guys usually get under normal circumstances? I've had it suggested to me that the reason my DPS might be crap is because my frame rate is too low.

What? Sorry its a rogue thing. Its a reference to our finishing move cycle, where s is Slice and Dice and r is rupture. In that it means do a 1cp SnD/3cp SnD/5cp rupture and repeat. Yeah get back to your mp5's and your spell crit. Or something. :lol:

I was 4th on the meter, with something like 160k damage dealt. Edit: stupid forum.. you'll have to c/p the links.

The rotation varies, on trash clears is definitely 1s/3s/5r but on boss fights I prefer (and have been told that I'm doing it right) 3s/5s/5r. No I dont have enough points to buy the OH yet. I still probably will, even with the respec. Giving up to easy, I don't think so man. I've respecced so many times, that friggin dwarf trainer in IF has put all his ugly children through college. I've had very good rogues walk me through it all step by step, and ask me all the same questions over and over. I've read every single theory crafting thread on EJ and all the good threads on Roguespot, followed them to the finest detail, everything. The only thing I haven't tried is getting some swords and respeccing into them, and as my talented and experienced mentor tells me, it's not really worth the expense and time, as they arent hugely ahead (especially considering the upcoming patch).
