Howdy folks, Thanks Slayas for the post of the list, and for all the time spent maintaining the list. I am not sure why I can't access the purefreetoplay site, neither from home or from the computers where I work a few miles down the road. I have had success reaching the site through proxy servers. If any others are having problems that is an option. Congrats to you all on those recent levels. Fire Hawk and I must have leveled smithing to 99 in the same week. Planning on an update soon, waiting until I pop my Range bubble. Peace all. Gafe

Howdy folks, I bet someone can help me. I have not been able to access the purefreetoplay site for quite some time. Mozilla says problem loading page, Explorer says cannot display the webpage. If anyone has suggestions I would be grateful. It sounds like some awsome changes have been made and have been looking forward to seeing them for some time. Howdy folks, Glad to see the Top 250 being revived. I know losing the hi-scores really took a huge part of the game away from us. Thank you all that have a hand in bringing back, in the best possible way, an honored tradition for the f2p community. My submission to be added is posted below (if everything goes correct). Something just dawned on me.... If you use a f2p account while pking, no one could look up your stats. I see that as being a huge advantage given to f2pers. Will that be enough of a reason for the member pkers to scream foul? Peace out folks.

Wertyue, The bot issue has been bothering me ever since they returned. It recently dawned on me why Jagex has little interest in trying to fix this problem. My son, who got me started playing Rune Scape, out grew the game and wanted to play WOW. This was not a problem with me, so we got him set up. While I have never been diagnosed with OCD, I realize I tend in those directions. Not wanting to commit my entire life to MMORPG's, I did not set up a WOW account myself. I did however, get to see the mechanics of the game by watching him play. As soon as Dungeoning was introduced to RS, I saw several similar things. Like how the dungeon armor looks like WOW "gear". Very similar also on how what they call bossing is related to dungeons in general. I just figured Jagex was feeling a little bit of heat from the competition, or they had hired one of WOW's programmers. The upside is that we were rewarded with some nice graphic updates and game play being a bit smoother. I just learned, that WOW offers a F2P version of their game (not just the free 30 day trials from a few years ago). I am not sure when they started that, but it had to hurt the total number of players on RS. The bottom line, bots count as players. Until Jagex can get their numbers up, by whatever means they can, ie. discounts, promos, xp bonuses, bots are probably here to stay. Unfortunate as it is to say, the dedicated players of RS, have been sold out, for bragging rights to the largest MMORPG. Keep up the good work folks, Gafel

Congrats on that new level smell Makkaravelho. Smithing is a tough skill to achieve 99 in. It is one of the labor of love skills in my book. Keep up the good work. Gafel

Howdy folks, My first 99 was constitution. I didn't realize I was even close. Revved up in dungeon after dungeon, and then there it was. My next 3 happened July 8th. I had been talking about trying to pull it off for years, and when my strength got pretty close, I committed to matching my attack and defense. Got all 3 levels with a single thrust, threw a party and taped it all. If you are interested in seeing it, the link is I hope you all enjoy being F2P as much as I do. Gafe :thumbsup:

18 bones in 12 seconds? 12/18 = 0.667 seconds per bone. One game tick is 0.606 seconds, so unfortunately I cant confirm your statement to be true. It's still 1 game tick per bone. Sorry for any confusion I caused. I was confirming your numbers were based on game tick at 0.606. My numbers were a very rough count, but I knew they were close enough to confirm your calculations. Isthatok, I recently noticed something while putting bones in the ground. F2P is capable of quick bury now. As fast as you can click on them, they are gone from inventory. I am curious if your explanation was based on this new ability we seem to have or based on the old way of click pause click pause. I just buried 18 bones in 12 seconds so i guess i answered my own question. You are aware. For anyone that did not know, you can bury as quick as you can click now. Peace out folks, Gafelgafi

BioIce, Evening ma'am, still think about you often and told a new Dragoon just today about when Raistfrost put a good word in for my dungeon abilities. I was getting the cold shoulder from you before he did that. I hope you find a way, be it thru time or your heart to join us again soon. Wertyue, How are you good sir. I have seen your name a hundred times in the clan, but can not recall a conversation we have had. It is still very good to see familiar names in new places. Isthatok, I had no idea that you were the good man I needed to talk to. I heard about the top 250 f2p list around a year ago. Becoming part of that list has been a goal of mine since i heard about it. Once I actually found the list, I was surprised to see that I was very close. I have worked very hard the last couple of weeks in hopes of making a secure spot on the list for my name to fill. I mentioned in the clan a few moments ago, that I should hit the list with the next update. They asked me if I had let you know yet? I said no, but I would get to work on that right away. So, officially letting you know.... Please consider Gafelgafi when you update the top 250 f2p list. Now for a question about Popo on top of the list.... If he used genie lamps for p2p skills, could he advance beyond 1614 total levels?
