if you used the pencil tool instead of the brush tool it would be pixel instead of brushed

Back on topic In my opinion the brushing does look off and blotchy my definition of manga was very squarish, similar to dbz characters or maybe im mistaking the two (anime and manga) in relation to the brushing, gives it a very rounded appearance for a 1st attempt it isnt to bad, youve realised you need a lightsource and various shades so your onyour way to enhancing your pieces just gotta work on consistancy of your brush strokes and adapting to the style you wish to create

ditto.. very nice work, just same issues as what jlr said, but it has great potential, if you havent already achieved it in the piece

well i tried my hand at brushing, colour transitions arent to good, and defining limbs without lines is harder than i though, but its not to bad just gotta work on it some more

Well alot of people have been trying pixels as of late and although im not master, im beginning to get the hang of it i though id produce a lineart of a face (its traced) and let people practice skin tones on it There is a reference picture to look off if you get astray in your skin toning But id suggest tryin to think personally what you think skin looks like and try to pixel from there and the base picture to observe edit: i fogot one of her arms, will add it in later For everyone who tries please post results back so more experience pixelers and public can give C&C well good luck pixeling
