In my opinion Jagex are trying to set up a spectacular 150th quest. Links between most different story lines are there if you look hard enough. However, I agree that the sequels for various older quests (mep2, rise of the red axe, devious minds, etc) are taking way to long, it simply isn't fair on the players.

Quest in the wild this month doesn't really sound like it fits.

My god i hope so but I'm even more excited about tabbed banking. Probably something I shouldn't say as creator of this thread lol.

Right, I've had a look at the signs: The the chaos elemental may be the beast referred to. However, it just doesn't seem likely to me. Still it's interesting.

I believe it was the chaos elemental. I also remember that "Beware of stray lava" sign as well. Even though there was none?... Maybe it's a future quest/mini-quest/quest area. Jagex really doesn't have too many quests that send you into the wilderness. Maybe they're adding another now that all we have to deal with are revenants. :? I can't seem to find the reference of chaos ele to the signs on knowledge base. Could you link me or post path>?

Does anyone remember when the wilderness signs were updated to say beware of the beast? Could it be the same beast related to the ruins or is it chaos ele or kbd?

Question: Do rev orks say something about revenge when you kill them and did they always say that?

The difference is we KNOW who the voice belongs to in underground pass and its linked to the quest. (my favorite quest BTW)

I really do hope it is a mini quest, But if it is its damn hard to find the start if it is. My feeling is that it either IS or will be a mini quest or be of some relevance otherwise a j mod would have said on the forums (edit:rsof) Perhaps if dark dude reads this he can get some sort of response from a j mod :P :lol:

That particular ghost is from ghostly robes miniquest.

Voices say strange things in the ruins in the wilderness west of clan wars east of bounty hunter. There are currently many people searching for an answer to this. New mini quest? Anyway instead of clogging up hidden updates it was suggested that chatter should go on here. So chat away :thumbup:

Don't get me wrong dark I respect you and your opinion immensely and while I agree with some parts of your post you have to agree that your preferences do not generalize to all of the veteran players. What I would really love is a more in depth analysis of RS itself. The opinion polls that they do are not common enough and so much could be changed if there was an entire team dedicated to existing improvement. I'm sure that a lot of players would prefer one less new piece of content a month and a change to an older piece. Thanks for feedback so far everyone
