  1. Bonus Weekend Results: 63-65 Farming (+2) 62-76 Herblore (+16) 69-75 Crafting (+6) 61-66 Summoning (+5) 72-73 Magic (+1) 63-64 Agility (+1) 60-65 Smithing (+5) 62-71 Fletching (+9) 60-61 Runecrafting (+1) 60-69 Construction (+9) Total of 55 Levels. This pushes me over Goldbranch for #3 (known) DIY in game :D Made my gilded alter + 11 glories which opens alot of doors for me, and now will be getting 61-70 prayer tonight from bones banked from killing greens (used hides for the craft levels). Also did a few quests and the knight training ground to unlock Piety, so will be piety slaying with the 750+ pray pots made during weekend. Back to normal :D
  2. Oh bonus weekend, how you will fire me forward this time...
  3. Thank you! Catching itam has always been my goal on this account, as farfetched as the idea seems lol. I love competition, so the higher his total level is over me, the better :D
  4. Nice clues there Lily :D Keep up the good work!
  5. Did some quests including Summer's End, 61 quests until cape, time to finish 60 all.
  6. 12 more quests completed: All Fired Up Clock Tower Elemental Workshop 1 Fight Arena Hazeel Cult In Pyre Need In Search of the Myreque Observatory Quest Olaf’s Quest Perils of Ice Mountain Rune Mechanics Tears of Guthix In Pyre Need gave me 66 firemaking too. 208/319 Quest Points 71 Quests Remain
  7. Pending on tasks, 70 attack may come tomorrow :D
  8. I sure did! :D and ty! Ty! UPDATE: 1 No update for a few days, but I have a big update now :D 1600 Total! Did a ton of quests including Heroes, Underground, Legends, all of RFD minus the final battle (Still need to do Desert Treasure but don't have 75 wc for the 12 magic logs). Been in a big questing mood, but got me to 192 QP now. Back to slayer now :D
  9. Good start, tomorrow I should be getting quite a bit of woodcut done :D
  10. Oi! Get back to woodcut :D But on a more serious note... Get back to woodcutting...
  11. Ty :P 1 Left until Deadlist Catch :D Gluckwunch! haha :P Ty xD! I didn't think of that, thanks for the idea, and only have to do fishing contest and Giant Dwarf before I can do that, have all skill requirements so I just might do that, gives me an excuse to quest more lol. Thanks alot!
  12. That's the best way to find your upgrades, completely randomly. Just like my rune hatchet from a level 3 clue, never been so happy for a 7k item from a 20 minute clue before xD Keep up the good work Blake! :D
  13. Bank Pic: EDIT: Now I'm having problem with paint, as I save it and it saves as an unzoomed picture that can't be zoomed up fully, so comes out like this: Apparently it was because I was on OpenGL mode, had to switch to Software. I never had these problems before xD
  14. Yeah I know eh? :P Thank you, and I know I will too <3 I will post one once I solve my problem of taking screenshots on full screen (makes bank pics much easier to make). Every time I take a screenshot on full screen, it comes up as just a black screen but with "Loading please wait" in the top left. Not sure how to fix that yet lol. On a side note:
  15. Hello Tip.it, Yes, another DIY blog lol. About Effigy Back in 2002, I made the account "Effigy" as a Rune Mining scout for my main, to avoid pkers while rune mining in the wilderness. I never gained any levels or did anything on it minus camp at the safe spot at the Rune Rocks, and got my Scythe drop during that Halloween event. My whole RuneScape career I wanted to make a character that was 100% self sufficient, but could never bring myself to abandoning my main character. After many years on and off playing, I have had zero interest in my main, and cannot seem to get the levels I desire on it, so I quit it for good, and decided to give it a go. I found that doing everything yourself was much more enjoyable, and made accomplishments much more satisfying, so I knew this account would last. Luckily, I made the name "Effigy" as a "representation of my main", many years before Effigies or the NPC Effigy was brought into the game. Now that Effigies were added, it seems like my name choice turned out to be a good one xD I started this account on March 11th, during the bonus exp weekend where I got my first ever levels. I decided this character would be 100% self sufficient, and it has been to this day. My DIY Rules The following are the rules I play by as a DIY character: 1. I will never trade with any player, unless needed to complete a quest (Shield of Arrav / Heroes). 2. I will never use the Grand Exchange (Buying OR Selling). 3. I will never give assistance, or accept assistance for any reason. 4. All Dungeoneering must be completed solo. 5. I will never lend, or receive a loaned item. 6. I will never play any minigame that I can't solo (No PC, SC, BA, CW, etc). 7. I will never pick up other player's dropped items * 8. I won't rely on any other player for doing D&Ds. (Example: I will only do penguins if I see them myself on my travels, and won't actively hunt them) *Note: If someone happens to drop a party hat, or other cosmetic item, I will pick it up, but will never sell it. Because these items wouldn't help me gain levels in any way, I don't see this as a deterrance from being DIY. Starting Stats I wanted to wait a while before posting a blog, but decided I'd post early, as I know now I won't quit this account. Here are my stats at the start of this blog: Proof of not using GE (Tutorial not even complete): Goals My main goal really is to have fun, but I have a few goals I'm hoping to achieve by March 11th, 2012 (My 1 year anniversary of starting to train this account). 1. 70+ All skills (Very likely) 2. 120 Combat (Likely) 3. 100 Dungeoneering (Semi-Likely) I will try and get these done before end of 2011, but that largely depends on how much studying I need to do and such. I will add more to this introduction over the next little while, and keep updating as I hit certain milestones. Thanks for reading!
