  1. Hi everyone... doing Fremennik Trials and Koschei whooped my butt. Any suggestions?

Oh, and as for the lyre drop, any suggestions to get it? I noticed there's sorta a

pattern, Borrakar tends to drop iron war-hammers. (I don't want the fletching stuff, it's a real hassle and it takes forever.)

  2. Hm, I'm going to have some fun with this...

I like the idea of unofficial Falador zombie guard of World 42.

To Doing_Alrigh: Runescape is overrun with zombies. They will show up about anywhere at any time.

Don't worry, Mod_Crow said they're unagressive. I'll be hiring a team of Falador guards to help on world 42...

  3. Description: A huge Halloween bash, hopefully with live music.

A note on music: If you have two or three friends, one of whom must have Air Guitar emote, then you are invited to come out and chant songs, made up along the way, preferably, and the guitarist continually using Air Guitar. You will be paid 200 gp for the gig. Let me know if you sign up.

Come in a costume if you have one.

We're going to try to get a friend code.

My best friend is a mouse named Rod.

I've got most of the fish; It's been two years.

    Most of the bugs too.

I'm keeping the Roman Candles and Sparklers from the fireworks for Christmas and New Year.

Our first disc got scratched; we have a new copy. Thank Serena that the Wii stores the memory, not the disc.

EDIT: We have a friend code! I'll have to check it later...

  5. Description: I'm hosting a big end-of-the-summer party at my POH. There's a lot of room, mingling, dinner of pineapple pizza, games, and all the food and tea you can eat and drink.

Seriously, though, I can't do with ten people. I'm shooting for fifteen or more. No invites ; anyone can come. Round' 1 o' clock we're having dinner.

Come in your best stuff ; armor, cosmetic items, bring a top hat and/or a cane if you have em'. Just don't wear worn-out underclothes or ripped garments.

Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Leave em' on this board.

P.S. No heavy swearing, but moderate is OK because some will have their profanity filters on.

  6. So. Here's the entertaining back-story.

"There is a secret society who call themselves The Clan Destroyers. They have patrolled the free for all portal at Clan Wars jealousy. Those who dare cross never made it over.

"Another society, The Clan Saviors, has made a plan tonight. Anyone who can defeat the Destroyer Leader, who has captured the Clan Savior Leader, will be rewarded.

    Basically, the idea is:

The Clan Destroyers have captured the Clan Savior Leader (me). Anyone who can defeat their leader will be rewarded.

If no hero can defeat him, the Clan Destroyers will be rewarded.

So, you must either join the Clan Destroyers or the Clan Saviors to fulfill your duty.

The Clan Destroyers will patrol the safe free for all portal at Clan Wars on a non-clan wars world for fifteen minutes.(So there won't be interruptions.) The Clan Saviors must charge bravely across the free for all safe portal to kill the leader.

    Rules:

    1. You must obey uniform code.

    2. You must obey all rules.

    3. Death means expulsion. You lose if you die.

    4. The rewards are as follows: The Clan Savior who kills the Clan Destroyer Leader gets 9k and a full set of any armor up to adamant. If the Clan Destroyer Leader is alive within the fifteen minutes allotted, the Clan Destroyers each get something from my bank and something from a Clan Savior. The Clan Destroyer Leader gets two from each, and a free drink.

5.If you disobey any of these rules you will be expelled from the competition.

    Uniform

The Clan Destroyer leader (whoever signs up) must wear red robes.

Clan Saviors must all wear blue wizard robes and wield a weapon up to white (no black). The Clan Destroyers must wear black wizard robes and wield a weapon up to black (no white).

This is to ensure maximum equality. (And they are fighting groups.) Anyone who wears other stuff will not be rewarded.

    Notes

I will PM the Clan Destroyer the location where they are to hold me hostage.

If anyone hurts me until the fifteen minutes are up, then they will be expelled.

I may attempt to escape after time is up.

Combatants should be from combat lvl 75-100+.

The Clan Destroyer leader should be around lvl 120.

Speak to me if you want to become a member of my clan!

  7. There is a Varrock library thread and an art gallery. But, these usually contain non-Runescape stories and pictures. I think that there should be a Fanfic forum in the "Runescape" section for the following:

    -Runescape Stories

    -Runescape Art

    -Runescape Newspapers

    etc.,etc. You get the picture.

So, I think that there should be a Runescape-specific forum for fan fiction.

If you support, post your support here.

If you disagree, post your disagreement here.

  8. I have one serious problem, and a few minors.

The serious one: PACKATITIS. I have a seriously big bank. I feel like, if I see some junk armor for a level 12 in there, I say, "oh, what if I want to dress up?!"

I also sometimes look through the Draynor Seed Piles.

I never got serious about moneymaking.

Finally, I have a serious case of "nothing to fight"-itis. I'm level 58 and there aren't a lot of level 40s out there that are easy to get to.

  9. RULES

    1. No swearing. At all. You swear = you get kicked back to 2011.

    2. Use creativity, but don't get an overactive imagination. You can have a custom paint job on your star-flier, but you can't have a flame paint job that burns anyone who touches it.

    3. If you died, you died. Feel free to get a new character.

    4. As the game progresses, new players have more choice than current ones. As new alien species and new planets are discovered, new players get to be them and live there, respectively.

    5. If you want a new character, you can "retire" your old character. They can retire from their job and live an uneventful life from then on. Then ask to create a new character.

    6. On the subject of time machines, they were made. BUT, a serious BUT, you shouldn't use them. The laws of physics state that you can go forward in time, but not back. So that's anther way to get a new character: use a time machine and get trapped in the future.

  10. Okay, I'm making my character.

    Name: Cedric Metallium

    Job: Scientist

Age: 27 (He went to college!!!)

Special abilities: Thinks fast in tough situations.

    Race: Human

    Weapon: Blue laser gun

Visual description: Black glasses, dirty blond and slightly messy hair, wears green sweatshirt, blue pants, black shoes. Always has dark blue backpack with him to hold stuff.

Vehicle: Small, 2 person star-flier. No laser guns attached.

  11. Everyone, just so you know, here is an example of outcomes of space travel from Torvium to Colonia.

    A one is rolled:

Ship is damaged, crashes on Hostilia, natives attack.

    A two is rolled:

Ship damaged, crashes on hostile tribe of Colonia instead of peaceful tribe.

    A three is rolled:

Ship lands safely on landing dock, small damage that doesn't really matter.

    A four is rolled:

Ship lands undamaged on the landing dock.

  12. It's actually a standard 6-side die. It came from a board game I got recently. There are:

    1 #1

    2 #2s

    2 #3s

    1 #4

So you have a 50% chance of a fairly good outcome.

Glad you're thinking about signing up!

  13. Okay, the final list of answers:

It is a play by post game.

Players will choose their actions, and I will decide what happens. For instance:

P1 decides to set off in their rocket to Colonia.

I will roll a die at my location in real life to determine what will happen. It has 1, 2, 3, and 4.

4 means great outcome, 3 means good outcome, 2 bad outcome, 1 means terrible outcome.

I roll a one: P1's ship hits an asteroid and they crash-land on Hostilia.

P1 tries to fix their ship, etc. etc.

I have started up with paragraphing. Thanks for noticing that, I thought something was missing.
