Thank you - he did- ya know- for the record this happened while he wasn't playing for a long time- so it wasn't that I wasn't monitoring- he'd been playing Wow and thus I was monitoring that one- when he went back to play here- he'd diiscovered what happened- i didn't really appreciate the comments about me not doing my job "correctly" didn't expect that from these forums either- I was asking for help and get dogged- kinda sucked- and felt uncalled for- wasn't my fault in the first place and I was looking for help- besides he's 15 too- how many 15 year olds out there are that good with their mom's- my kid is- he's a good kid- the other person is the jerk not us- just say'n not at you K- I appreciate what you said- thank you-

Hi- I'm a runescaper-mother who loves the game- love it- my kids got into it as well- however- during a time when one of my kids was not actively playing he believes his account was hacked into- and thus he lost a lot of valuable items- plus money- is this possible? Has others had it happened to them- not by selling an item but just not playing for a while going back and having a bunch of your stuff gone- that's what happened to him- Is there anything I can do? Anyone have any thoughts or advice? And he found a golden cracker thus got a golden hammer from this incident- what the heck is that- and is it a real thing-? I found a site thing about it- but he didn't do any of the things that it said you could do to get said golden cracker- he believes whoever hacked into his account left it for him- does this not sound incredibly weird or what>? Hi there- guys- / peeps - lol- thanks I know about the censor on off thing- and I've got my kids to turn it on I was just thinking about the people who don't know about it- maybe there is a way to let people know somehow- though non english would be difficult- that I can understand- but having to turn someone "off" when it shouldn't be there in the first place is like- wrong to me- I mean- I just wish it would have stayed family friendly- but the english thing is probably why they did it- so I'm glad for those people who needed it for that reason- it is SOOOOO being abused though- the things people say that kids could see is just wrong- it's like rated R movies that little kids are reading- language from- it's worse then TV- anyway- I'm an old fohgie/old schooler too- lol- thanks- Rowan

Hello- Personally - I don't really care if I see the F word- but my kids play this game and lots of others do and now there isn't any censoring of words anymore- it sucks- this used to be a family game and it can't be called that anymore if kids can see anything on the chat anymore- sure I can moderate my own children's screens but what about other parents that don't play and don't realize the runescape allows swearing now? I think it is a real downer that runescape allows that now and I think it's wrong- what happened to family gaming? This was the one place I could count on- I really hope you do the right thing- people can use silly words to voice frustrations- it doesn't have to be words that are so offensive- even "noob" is offensive because (though some people think I'm silly for that ) but everyone was new once- why mess with them and call them names- but that's besides the point- noob is different than the f word and worse- sexual words that my kids don't need to see- Please runescape- you make me want to kill my subscriptions and tell my kids no- they aren't a family friendly game- any others want to start a petition? Hey- Been working on the rat catchers quest for days now I've re done almost everything- everyone is saying the same thing the NPC's I mean- but when I try to charm the rats- they won't come- I'm following the directions to the letter- to play the charm thing flute- what AM I doing wrong!
