Finally "finished" (as in seen everything) Kalos Dex and got gold-colored card. And on my Birthday no less. Oval Charm makes for a nice present, I will admit. Next week will be nice. Pokebank and 11th Doctor finale. Yay.

I think I remembered most of the effort I had to spend on my High School research papers was the work cited bits. I can write up the subject just fine, but never could seem to remember the name of that guy and his outdated site from where I got the info from when I was looking it up. God, the "work cited" crap was the one thing preventing me from enjoying writing the thing.

If you ask me, being forced to search random sites that mention not being updated for years isn't any better than Wikipedia. And then there are those that are really bad in that they know they're providing skewed or false information. For instance, there is a wiki that is tailor made for conservatives.

I honestly feel they prevent citing W-Pedia more for the fact it is easy than the rumored inaccuracies. Granted, it's mainly on the latter but my school did it for the former just as much. Of course, I graduated High School before I discovered Tv Tropes. I can just imagine how bad it'd be if I listed 50+ references to Tv Tropes when giving my thoughts on some play by Shakespeare, just as luring another adictee.

GREENS! I just bought A Link Between Worlds yesterday myself. Honestly, I am a bit disappointed at some of the stuff, but like it anyway.

At least I did get one shiny out of it. Speaking of ranked battles, decided to try one out. Surprised I won (without losing a single mon) in spite of not thinking it through and used a fully physical offense team while my opponent used Gyarados/Manectric-M/Physically defensive Vaporeon. Only won because I predicted better and didn't get burned by Scald. I should improve myself next time.

Well, the patch was mostly towards the program people were abusing to basically eavesdrop on your team's movesets and even what you picked (like the Millennium Eye from Yu-Gi-Oh, minus the eye scream). So basically "why the fandom cannot have nice things" is being applied here. @Squab: About Dragons, I personally felt it was mostly showing peace with dragons wasn't exactly going to be a smooth ride as well as the impact the boy's actions will have (Defenders is basically confirming my theory he got Berk out of one war and into another) and gives nice worldbuilding. It also makes a nice bonus filler thing to fill any stuff before the 2nd movie comes out in 2014 or so.

Too bad. She is a blue-haired dragon dominatrix. Oh... that secret move crossed the line.... twice.

Thanks to 1.2 Patch, Instacheck is useless. Sucks that means no shiny checks, but at least those battle analyzer asses are dealt with. :3 And yay for new VC!

Looks like there is 1.2 patch out now that we have to download to use X/Y internet features again. Bleh, guess I won't get to find out if anyone had a TSV of 1089 to hatch my Ferroseed shiny. ;_;

Damn. My 31/31/31/13/31/0 Ferroseed has a SV of 1089 yet I cannot find someone with that number but rather a bunch of near-hits.

Interesting. It seems Bridgette, a character from Pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire from 3 generations ago, is going to be connected to Pokebank/Transporter. That's a bit strange they would take someone from Generation III instead of making a new character.

The best thing at the moment is that RNG abuse thing (which was surprisingly easy to understand). Otherwise, the other method is overlapping 4-5 IV [bleep]buddies with Everstone + Destiny Knot and that still isn't exactly as reliable as it appears. Oh, new Archer season next month. Yay...

By any chance, does anyone here have a TSV of 1149 or knows someone with that TSV? I need someone with that number so they can hatch my Gligar shiny.

Am I the only one who never forgets to plug that thing in? Oh, got a Female HA 31/31/31/xx/31/31 Gligar in egg state at the moment. Cannot find out what the shiny value is since I can't install Instacheck for various reasons. On the upside, I do have the RNG manipulation thing down pat.

If a mon is infected, spread it and make sure at least one or two are stored for most of the time to spread it later. Yeah, that's pretty damn rare since I encountered 4-5 unscripted shinies and only had one case of getting a Pokerus infection without trading. And that infection was on a SS file back in mid 2012 or so. Oh, got 740 score on Head It on Unlimited. Damn, just 60ish more points and would have had 5 stars.

Playing Moemon on randomizer and allowed the trainers to use legendaries. It's actually rather enjoyable since I am playing on Set for once instead of lazily leaving the stupid thing on Shift.
