  1. Honestly, I don't think I ever really had steak before so no idea how bad it is overcooked. Inb4Igethoundedforitsimilartomyremarksonneverdevouringapie.

Anyways, I am getting annoyed that I cannot figure out how to add new textures and such to SAI along with the fact that I don't get why the Pen tool wasn't in the standard palette (it is only usable for me on linework layers).

  2. The part I dislike the most is how her legs are all jacked up.

Feet are usually my weakness, but I have to agree with you that I seriously [bleep]ed the legs up. On a fun note, I am surprised airbrush is better at lineart than pencil or brush. Note sure if the piece would be worth sharing since it's in a boring (although much more familiar) pose.

@Mere: Unfortunately, I know way too many people here who fit that category. They even use the word towards other white people.

  3. At least it looks beautiful, but kinda unnecessary though. The new ORAS megas haven't exactly been impressive so far.

Anyways, hatched my 31/xx/30/31/31/31 Elektrike with some nice RNG manipulation. HP breeding sucks even with that tweaking method to alleviate the annoyance.

  4.

The large group of air benders are the air acolytes. Not benders at all.

Apart from I was not commenting on the Air Nomad looking folks I was commenting on all the people shown ACTUALLY air bending, including, but not limited to Bumi.

This is very notable because Aang was the last air bender thanks to the original air nomads being wiped out, of his children only Tenzin inherited air bending therefore meaning he, Katara and the kids (Jinora, Ikki, Meelo and Rohan) were the only ones able to air bend now. Yet that trailer very clearly shows Bumi and a number of others not fron that list airbending.

    Don't you mean Korra?

Interestingly, I wonder what details were gleamed from the bad quality leaked episodes. From what I know, they were in Spanish and nothing else.

  5. Bumi must be happy now since he can join his siblings as benders. The idea that really intrigued me was that the Dai Li was still around. Wouldn't they have been disbanded for their treachery back in A:TLA?

I am now hoping they don't try ship teasing this time around. It turned into an obnoxious mess the last two seasons they got into that, especially when it started to get in the way of the plot.

  6. Now that you mention it, I can breed up a Gastrodon rather easily. I would like to try Cradily, but that'd take awhile given I don't have one with good IVs to work with. Assuming I scrap Talonflame for Latias for Tailwind support (I was getting annoyed how Fake Out + Rock type attacker combos kept disrupting my Tailwind lead attempt), I am unsure who to axe for Gastrodon. Then again, I could get rid of the idea of Tailwind support period since Chomp might as well go Mega and abuse the hell out of Sand Force-boosted Rock Slides and Earthquakes before dying and let Excadrill try cleaning up in time before sand goes, especially given the fact Tailwind petering out on me at the worst possible time in my last battle with Evelyn caused me to lose ([bleep]ing Rock Slide miss haxes on M-Chomp was the other factor).

  7. Lokie,

Why do you have 3 things weak to water on your team? Swap out talonflame for latios if you want tailwind support. Or maybe thundorus.

It was an attempt at sand-based offense, and a lousy one at that. Hell, I am genuinely surprised I even got to Evelyn twice given the numerous faults with it. Was thinking of tweaking the team again, but that won't mean much with OR/AS coming this year.

  8. Getting reminded of my sheer obviousness when I just now learned that the lime flavored skittles were replaced with green apple in spite of eating that candy for a long while (granted, I normally go for Wild Berry or Dessert variants). Now I feel stupid for wondering why the lime-flavored pieces I was snacking on tasted so awful.

  9. You know, it just occurred to me this would be the first official return of Contests since Gen IV. I wonder if it would be any different given all the changes such as actually making it more interesting than the boring display it was before.

EDIT: Tried a second attempt at winning the Super Doubles trophy. Unfortunately, Mega Garchomp's Rock Slide missing both targets on the first attack and Tailwind petering out just as I was in need of that speed boost got me ruined by Evelyn again. Here was the team.

    Katie (Talonflame) @ Focus Sash

    252 atk/252 spe/6 in def or something

    Adamant/Gale Wings

    - Flare Blitz

    - Brave Bird

    - U Turn

    - Tailwind

Role: Basically, she gets up tailwind and U-Turns Tyranitar in so Garchomp and immediately begin abusing Sand Force-boosted attacks.

    T.K. (Garchomp) @ Garchompite

    252 atk/4 spa/252 spe

    31/31/31/31/31/30

    Naughty/Sand Veil -> Sand Force

    - Rock Slide

    - Earthquake

    - Fire Blast

    - Protect

Role: Kill things. Tailwind makes up for the speed drop, Fire Blast is for Steel types (hence lack of Dragon type attacks... which is a bit of an issue at times), and Sand Force boosted Rock Slide and Earthquake is for the rest. I usually protect on first turn before Mega evolving in the event the opponent leads with Ice-types with a lot of speed such as Froslass so it can Mega Evolve and wreck them under Tailwind.

    Yurippe (Tyranitar) @ Air Balloon

200 hp/252 spa/56 spe (I was never good at this part since I wanted her to outspeed under Tailwind)

    Modest/Sand Stream

    - Protect

    - Dark Pulse

    - Thunderbolt

    - Ice Beam

Role: To start off, the reason my Tyranitar is a pure special attack is that my build was mostly physical and had trouble with things like Slowbro and Suicune initially. What didn't help things was that I was destined to run into a certain Suicune eventually and Slowbro was usually going to set up Trick Room (another thing that gives me issues). Anyways, Balloon is so I can switch into Mega Garchomp's boosted Earthquakes and Protect is for baiting Fighting types and/or backup for Balloon. Thunderbolt is to hit those bulky Water types decently and Ice Beam was mostly because I don't have a way of hitting Dragon-types supereffectively.

    Irvine (Excadrill) @ Life Orb

    252 atk/252 spe

    Adamant/Sand Stream

    - Earthquake

    - Rock Slide

    - Aerial Ace

    - Protect

Role: Basically backup if Mega Chomp falls or can send him in to wreck shit alongside him. Earthquake is obvious, Rock Slide the same, and Aerial Ace was added due to evasion abusers. Protect is for things like evading EQ (especially if it comes from my Mega Chomp).

Right now, I have no idea where to go with this since I might just use something more practical even though I had some fun coming up with something without totally blowing up in my face.

  10. Here I was hoping Mega Swampert would get Drizzle, but that Swift Swim allows it to live up to some of its dex entries. Is it also odd I was expecting Steven Stone to be associated with Mega Aggron, which isn't the case this time? Mega Sceptile is rather odd. Grass/Dragon is neat, but Lightningrod? I was hoping for something like Tough Claws so it can use a bit of its physical movepool.

Brendan looks like he got a tan too...

  11. Someone at work thought I was bisexual and then proceeded to induulgen in some gossip about ten thousand random things about other workers. I cannot tell what irritated me more: being unable to focus on my job because of her motor mouth or because she made a very bold assumption about me.
