Didn't seen a thread here so I thought I'd post it, What a horrible crash, Seen some bad ones throughout X-Games but this one tops them all, I was watching when it happened and after finding out he had been seriously injured I kept up with the updates, however, from the start his chances of making it were very slim. Really sad to see such a young guy lose his life doing something he loves and has been doing for years but death is one of the risks involved in extreme sports unfortunately. What does everyone else think? X-Games has had some nasty crashes but this is the first one to cause death since the X-Games have been around. Also: Sorry if this is the wrong topic, I was thinking Off-Topic as it's news but also possibly in the Sports sub forum.

Alright, So would I be best off just leaving this Scrimshaw 1/4 done and moving on to armour or finishing it off?

So I just got my first scroll, I had it set on the ranging scrimshaw though >_<. What would be the best to have it on (Scrimshaws and Armour)? Not very good with PoP. Thanks!

Alright thanks or the help again everyone, Just stumbled across this thread again and I'm curious is this problem still around? When my brother got DDoS'd I deleted Skype and everything, While looking into it even stumbled across how people are doing it and wow, That's insanely easy even to me and I suck with computers lol. But yeah, Was just curious if this problem still exists, Wouldn't mind using Skype again.

Also - If anyone knows, I was using Master Wand/Ward of Subjugation for Kalphite King the first couple days of release but I was busy for a while, What's best now? Would Armadyl Battlestaff/Zamorakian Spear/Crystal Bow(or Royal Crossbow) be the best weapon combination now? Is Staff of Light that much of a step down from Armadyl Battlestaff? The cost difference is quite a bit so thought I'd ask.

Alright so I'll buy those weapons for now, But with the maul will any of them be worth it to keep besides maybe the spear? I'm buying the stuff for the royal crossbow, Zaryte seems a little costly and Royal is pretty cheap. And yeah I was thinking Gano is pretty expensive, What would be the next best alternative thats either cheap to repair or doesn't require repair. Virtus is pretty expensive I'd probably rather go with the ABS and Master Wand(?) if I need a shield. Thanks again for the info.

So using the Chaotic Maul for anything is the best? Also, What would get me through until I got the maul (Only at about 90k Tokens right now but working towards the maul). So if a monster has a weakness to say Bolts specifically is Ranged still really effective even if its Arrows instead? Thanks for the reply!

Alright so I was thinking about getting the Royal Crossbow for Slayer and Bossing but I have a few questions. First off, As far as Slayer goes, Is the Royal Crossbow worth it? I used my Crystal Bow for a Greater Demon task (Which are weak to Bolts specifically) and it seemed to do great, Are Slayer monsters low enough that this wouldn't really matter? Also second, Would it be worth it to get the Royal Crossbow (or another) for Bossing if it's not good for Slayer? I'm still pretty nooby with this EoC stuff so all helps appreciated, Thanks! EDIT: Guess I'm making this an overall Combat question lol >_<. Alright so, Another question: Is Ganodermic worth it for Slayer as well or am I better off just using it for Bossing then buying something else for Slayer or maybe even lower level bosses, If so, What gear do I get? What weapons are best for Magic? Is it best to use Wand/Shield or Book or a Staff? If so what's best? Currently have Master Wand/Mages Book and Ward of Subjugation. What are the best Ranged weapons to get? Bolts/Arrows? What are the best weapons to get for Crush/Stab/Slash? I'm trying to get a full set of some top end gear and supplies then blow a bunch of cash on Herblore/Summoning. Is getting the full Armadyl and Bandos set worth it and are prices stable enough? I currently am using Veracs (with Bandos Chestplate) and Karils but I'm curious as repair costs really suck. Sorry for the overload of questions but I'm horrible with EoC gearing and such, Thanks again!

For some reason I can't get passed the third phase, I'm just trying to get to the fourth to forge my royal crossbow but I just can't get anything done. Is there a guide or anything? This is getting really annoying. Everyone says it's easy but I can't seem to figure it out >_<.

Alright so my brother went into a Skype call with some randoms while he was playing runescape and the guys in the call tried to get him to go to Bandos so they could shut off his internet (they accidentally said that during the call or something), Aperrantly a file was sent through the chat too but he claims he didn't open it so I'm not too sure. He caught on so they just killed the internet, It's working alright now after they shut it off but what should I do? I'm horrible with computers so I don't have the first idea. Is this just a DDoS and if so can they do anything now or what can I do to prevent this? All helps appreciated, Thanks!

Alright so I think I'm going to go with Gano. That gives me Gano and Veracs (May upgrade to Bandos to avoid repairs but not sure), I also have a vine whip/godsword and working on some chaotics. What am I going to want to use for ranging gear (or is there any bosses that ranged is really useful against anymore)? And about mage gear, Will I want to use the Wand/Shield or a 2H Staff and which ones should I use?

I'd probably lean more towards Gano/Ahrims, Is gano significantly better? If so, Are the repairs worth it and how often do you need to recharge? Also, About the Penance Aura I do have that and it's AMAZING, I use that while Turmoil/Soul-Splitting and have full Prayer & Health for the full hour it's active, Not having to eat or drink a potion at all. On the topic of Auras, What would be a good second aura to Penance? Preferably combat related but if theres a really good one for skills I might consider that aswell. Thanks for the reply!

Awesome, I just unlocked Soul Split today and it's insane! I used 1 rocktail and had like 200 KC before I had to go. So what kind of mage gear is good now? Hey everyone, I'm looking to dump some more money into skills and such so I'm looking to buy gear for all bosses so that I can still make money once I spend a bunch, I'm also interested in learning the new strategies for bosses since the EoC was released as all I've really done is Bandos. Bosses I'm going to want to do: -All God Wars bossing including Nex (I already have a strategy & equipment for Bandos but haven't tried any others since EoC). -Dagannoth Kings (If they are even worth doing anymore) -Queen Black Dragon -Any other bosses that may be profitable? I haven't been bossing much since EoC but really looking to get into it! If you have any ideas of what gear I would need to do efficient trips as well as the strategies/weaknesses for bosses please let me know, Thanks!

Any idea how much I'd lose on Prayer Potions? Prices seem a little weird right now. Also, How many ores can I expect to do per hour smelting? Anyone close to 100k exp/hour? And yeah, I haven't completed a whole lot of the diaries so I'm kinda screwed there, Any other decent training methods for Crafting?

Hey everyone, I just have a few questions about training some skills. I'm hoping to get my skills decent enough for Player Owned Ports and have a few other skills I'd like to just get up. First of all, For the Player Owned Ports, Is there much information about what will be needed for sure to make the armour? I assumed Crafting=Ranged, Runecrafting=Magic, Smtihing=Melee, Is that at all correct or could one of those make any of the three armours? Also, Getting prepared for PoP, What all do I want to have to be prepared? Now, For training for the PoP, What are some good methods for the following skills? I'm looking for something fast, but not super costly if possible. EXP rates/methods for skills I didn't mention that I may need would be appreciated! -Smithing (72 to 90. I do have 1 pair of brawling gloves for Smithing) -Crafting (65-90) -Herblore (66-90 to 95 or so) And one last question that I have, With the EoC what are the best ways to train Ranged and Magic? I'm looking to train these and have no idea what I should be doing (94 Magic/87 Ranged). That's all for questions, Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated, Thanks!

I had a thread about this a few days back, Went with Penance like everyone recommended and it's AMAZING. I can do solo Bandos runs and not need a single Prayer potion, I love it. Definitely recommend it!

Also, I just realized after I buy Penance I may still have enough points for another aura, Is there anything else I should look into getting? I'm set on getting Penance, That and Soul Split together just sounds insane. And is there any guides out for bosses now? Just looking through the forums and everything is so much different :o.

So with the Player Owned Ports are Gathering/Artisan skills a good idea to get up? Definitely gunna stick with 95 Prayer, Hopefully work on Overloads too asap. Are bosses harder or easier now in the EoC?
