So I just finished an Arma trip in which I got 98 Range and got pretty lucky with Armadyl Chestplates: Pushes my tab to around 145m :thumbsup:

After getting my TokHaar-Kal back I decided to do a bit of QBD (wanted to test out my Torva) and managed to get a Stabiliser and my first Dragon Kite: Had a lot of fun there so the QBD will probably be my next port of call after I've finished at Arma. I might stay at Arma until I get every unique drop (hopefully I'll have more luck than CJ).

Here's my set up: Admittedly I haven't brought Penance with me before so I may be over compensating with the restore pots. Oh and bring a yak full of food! It deserves to be next to the Sigil.

I still have 61 banked from before they were nerfed, wanting to open them myself.

Hmmm next time I go I'll give these abilities a try. As long as you can put up with dodging the Core for the whole kill I don't think it matters too much whether it dies or not. The only real drawback I see is the fact you might not be able to use Assault as much although to be honest I don't think the Spear is accurate enough for this to make a difference. Just finished my last Arma trip of the day and got 97 Ranged: And here's another cheeky Chestplate: Which brings the drop tab to the 100m marker. Here it is so far: Totals at around 110m.

I've mainly been using a Vamp Scrim and the Aura (instead) whenever it is ready although from what I've seen of you and Jeremy Penance is better. I've killed it a few times with no food left and very low HP, I can only assume Vamp kept me alive for the kill. As for finding it tough when the Core appears I find it completely random. The fight is quite long so the Corp can screw you over at any point. I've had kills where I go through a lot of rocktails at the beginning and not so many at the end and vice-versa. Oh and the reason I welfare with Gano is the fact the Servers have been terrible recently and I've lost items there thanks to DC's so don't risk any items you aren't willing to lose! So I've decided to treat myself to a Pernix Cowl, Body and Chaps for my goal of 99 Ranged. I've found Survival at Arma to be a little difficult although I'm able to stay slightly longer each trip. Last night I managed to get my first drop: Arma equipment is worth quite a bit at the moment (excluding the Buckler) so I hope to make some nice bank there on the way to 99.

I just tank the splash attacks, as you say they are too hard to predict and avoid. Penance seems like it would be good there like you say for that extra bit of food although I find some form of Vamparism does help (although it is definitely not needed). With my set up I rarely have to tele out (I pretty much get the kill 99% of the time). Don't be fooled by my keepsakes by the way, I go with a mixture of Superior Tetsu and Gano. As for abilities I really haven't looked into them too much, you could probably find a better Ability bar than mine if you looked into it.

Yeah, little annoying it wasn't anything better but hey, I still have a lot of my drop tab left and I'm still going to do some Corp. It's a great boss to do if you log on for a short amount of time as it's easy to set up for and get to.

After 500+ kills I've finally managed to get a bloody Sigil: Think I'm gonna move to Armadyl now to get 99 Range and hopefully a few rare drops to add to my tab. Hopefully I'll have a 100m tab later this week!

The kills aren't that hard once you get used to dodging the core. My ability bar at the moment is: Slice/Punish/Kick/Smash/Sever/Assault/Hurricane/Slaughter/Debilitate I suggest using the thresholds in the following order and whenever they're available: Debilitate/Assault/Slaughter When the Dark Core decides to join us I stop using Assault and start to use hurricane whenever it jumps to me and the ability is ready. 2-3 Hurricanes kill the core at which point I use Assault before the next one appears. Also safe this stage, miss clicking can be fatal as the Corp can definitely use to lose a few pounds. I don't use a cannon however it might be something to experiment with! Also bring Weapon Poison++ and Dreadnips if you have them as they do make a difference. With this set up I can get around 12-13 kph as my Overload usually runs out just before I get to the Corp after banking. Oh and here's an invent pic: Good Luck!

I solo it with the following set up: Gano Visor Superior Tetsu Plate Superior Tetsu Legs Gano Gloves Gano Boots Ardy Cloak/Skill Cape Ammy of Glory Zammy Spear 6th Age Circuit with Ring of Wealth switch It's quite a welfare set up due to the fact that Jagex can't keep reliable servers and there's no grave at corp :evil: Oh and Vamp Scrim or Aura, whilst not required, really helps to secure the kill.

I'll give it a go at some point as I do plan to go to God Wars once I get my damned Sigil. For the last couple of days I've been going to the Corp and so far have had no luck Sigil wise. I do have 30m in junk items however which isn't too shabby. I did encounter a bit of a blip today however as the server I was on lagged out which ended up with me losing 10-15m worth of items and more annoyingly my TokHaar cape. I guess I'm going to have to get that back at some point :evil: I'll post a picture of the drop tab at every 100m and I'll also be sure to post rare drop pics as well.

Might give it a go, it would be cool goal for sure. Doing some corp at the moment, used to duo it quite a lot pre-EOC but I've never seen a Sigil drop. Hell I'll be happy with a Spectral :razz:

So I may have got addicted to Mount and Blade for a couple of weeks but I'm back! Been back for a few days but haven't posted as I've been waiting to get a drop. Getting a little bored at TDs but I really want that Partyhat so I may start a 1bil drop tab. Would be interesting but I'm not sure if I could stick with it without selling anything :?

Not really no, using thresholds for each ability rather than an ultimate for one ability seems to be the best way to take them down. Assault is probably the best ability to use as it can hit once through melee prayer. Not much of an update today but I did manage to get my first 500m cash stack:

Na ROW or the sixth-age circuit depending on how I'm feeling. No need for a ROL, only died once due to server lag and it's very quick to get back there. Did another trip this evening and got lucky again :razz: Sold for 23m as a crossbow.

I usually go for a 1 hour trip 2-3 times a day (as an average). So far the drop rate for me has been around the same as claws so roughly 1 in 225. Per trip I kill around 70 (without a titan) so a pair of limbs every 3 and a bit trips is about right :wink: On the subject of TD's here are limbs 7 & 8: Once I get 10 pairs of limbs I'll post the other unique drops (claws and armor pieces) as I've got a nice little collection going :razz: Oh and I did get 92 Fletching but completely forgot to take a screenshot :oops: EDIT: Limbs 7 sold for 24.1m whilst limbs 8 sold for 23.5m. I turned both into crossbows.

That's the method I've chosen! It's cost me 18m to get to 92 which isn't too bad and there may also be money to be made selling Broad Arrow sets on the forums. Not sure how safe of a merch it is but it's something I'll look into.

Had quite a large dry steak at TDs (if you don't count armour pieces and claws) which ended today. Turned it into a Crossbow and sold for 24.7m although according for a clan mate the limbs would have gone for 25m+. On the subject of fletching I have put offers in the GE for the supplies needed for 92 in order to make Vamp Scrims at my port. These should help me survive at TDs in void if I decide to bring a titan along instead of yak. Oh and I may have fallen for an extremely obvious scam and lost 10m but who needs to know about that?
