  1. ^ Yes I did. Thai tong's post was quite incoherent. How exactly does me saying I respect Suomi's decision affect his decision? My opinion is that you shouldn't play a game if you don't enjoy playing it. Suomi has already stated he is quitting the game for that reason. My comment regarding people saying he should continue with his goal meant that, while they're free to give their opinion, at the end of the day it's still his and only his choice to make. Even if Suomi does change his mind (for whatever reason I wouldn't know), I still acknowledge it's only his choice. This thread never ceases to amaze me in ridiculousness.
  2. People make this stupid argument way too often on this thread. People are telling suomi what they think, no one is putting a gun to his head and making him do what they think is best. If you think people shouldn't be telling suomi they think he made the wrong decision then you should also not be telling suomi you think he is making the right decision because you are also influencing his future thoughts on the subject and you are affecting "his decision" which you think people should stay out of. I'm not sure what you're on about. All I said was that I respect his decision to quit. Lol.
  3. Well, I haven't posted on this thread in a long time. I must say I find it quite surprising Suomi is quitting; the amount of dedication he put into skilling was quite impressive. Of course, I respect his decision to quit. RuneScape should not be treated like it's a job; if you no longer find appeal in playing the game, then quitting is the way to go. And it's funny because I constantly see people saying that Suomi should just finish his goal because he's "so close." But at the end of the day it's not their choice - it's his. It especially makes no sense to continue doing something if you don't enjoy doing it. With Suomi quitting the game, the race to 200m in all skills will definitely be more interesting. I'm a bit anxious to see how the race will turn out in the coming years ahead.
  4. I have to admit, that made me laugh.
  5. The only skill plot at the citadel that is better than any other method is the Mining plot. Every other plot is slower than the fastest method, so it would be a waste of his time and obviously he has 200M Mining xp already.
  6. I watched his new FAQ video and he states he plays 10 hours a day on weekdays and 17 hours on weekends. Does this mean he's going to get 5B xp? Nope.
  7. Blocks seems to be one of those people who'd get bored training 20m xp into a non-buyable/non-afkable skill. He just doesn't have what it takes imo for 5b XP.
  8. I thought it was best to effigy slayer anyway but people just effigied rc as the difference was minimal and slayer is generally more enjoyable. It was mostly due to the fact that if you used your effigies on slayer, you probably wouldn't get the charms for 99 summoning.
  9. I honestly think it's the latter, we've all known SUOMI to joke a lot, haven't we?
  10. Unbelievable, if they keep doing stupid things like this, they can expect Runescape to be done within two years.
  11. Sorry but we don't "worship" top players or hate on them, only the trolls do that. All this thread simply is is tracking high level players, it's interesting for some people as you can see by the many pages this thread has. If you don't care for it, why did you even post here?
  12. Congrats on 4b total xp Suomi! :)
  13. Judging from Tezz's Adventurer's Log, it seems to be based off of the age of the skills. For example, Dungeoneering is first because it is the newest skill, then it goes to Summoning, etc.
  14. If you enjoy taking it seriously, why not? This.
  15. Well, congrats to Dragonseance on 2b total exp...watch out Suomi.
  16. I highly doubt it, effigies weren't the only reason why he quit. Would be quite interesting if he did return though.
  17. I like the effigy drop nerf a lot. The bank limit I don't exactly know why but I'm not complaining either. It's about time Jagex started making the game less easy, we've been in Effigy Scape for almost 2 years. Also: http://gyazo.com/39d4be8d0f590a57ef3358ae21001bea QFC: 15-16-294-63568795 Page 1, post 9.
  18. Just to clarify, they used to be 103 combat which means they had an effigy drop rate of 1 in 1,329. With the update, the drop rate has increased to 1 in 752. I guess you're just having bad luck.
  19. That video regards getting mummy champion scrolls, the bug in question only happened a couple days ago when they changed the combat levels on a few creatures. Lethe_Keres, And can you explain to me why this *isn't* a bug? That's exactly why I said Jagex wouldn't do any form of punishment because they haven't banned or muted or do anything to anybody even for serious glitches like you mentioned. I'm not saying anybody *should* be banned, that was simply stating Jagex hasn't banned pretty much anybody for any glitch. This is exactly like the agility wall jump glitch, everybody argued stating that it wasn't a glitch/bug but Jagex then said they did. There is no way this could be intentional, it makes no absolute sense to have level 138s have 10 LP. End of.
  20. Why would Jagex punish somebody for something that is there own fault? No rules were broken. No bugs were abused. Was a Jagex mess up not increasing the hp but keeping the effigy rate higher based on the combat level. All bugs are the fault of Jagex, that's like saying nobody should have been banned during the Falador Massacre. This is AFKable, the mummies have the same drop rate as cave crawlers, have 10 LP each and are much cheaper. I'm pretty sure this is a glitch.
  21. Yeah, I put the bit about me not confirming just as soon as you typed that, thanks for telling me. Sentence has now been removed.
  22. Pretty interesting video, this will get patched most likely in a matter of days however. For those who don't know for whatever reason, Jagex changed the combat levels of a few NPCs, this included. Same drop rate as cave crawlers, but 10 LP each and much cheaper. Anybody want to guess Jagex won't do any type of punishment?
  23. Would that really be a problem? I mean we are not living in the 90s anymore, I am sure jagex can afford the memory space. I believe Jagex stated that changing Runescape to use 64 bit-signed integers would require a lot of work on the engine and such. A Jagex moderator posted on the RSOF regarding it awhile back.
