Ganodermic beasts are also a good alternative. They're arguably better effigies per hour than cave crawlers but there isn't a lot of tests to back it up. I also believe they're still somewhat good money but they certainly declined in gp/h since release.

Anybody else have thoughts that Jagex might nerf effigies? They've been starting to crack down on what is/isn't fair and what the game was intended for and I doubt they intended for people to get faster Runecrafting experience by doing something other than training the skill. Just a thought though.

It's better to max out melee first since it's more efficient to use effigies on the slower skills (firemaking is the slower of the pair) so if he were to get 200m in firemaking it'd be a waste of xp since he could've used a lot of xp from effigies on firemaking.

Why should they do something else if they enjoy playing Runescape? It doesn't matter if you go "do something productive" because it all boils down to your interests and what you enjoy doing. That is the reason why people spend their time playing games instead of what you consider doing productive things. He likes playing, that is all.

Nice made up 1% fact, I think you would be suprised how much worse RSwiki is. True it may be the biggest database, but you should always wonder if it is right and not take RSwiki as facts. We are getting OT with this... Other than some drops and tha cave crawler thing,I haven't found anything wrong with it... if you don't like it don't use it Yeah I have to agree, RS Wiki seems to be pretty accurate, you can find a few pages here and then that have wrong information but that doesn't mean the entire database is false.

You happen to know why he left in the first place?
