As an approximation you could say it is 3/8 the speed of regular chinning because the time between attack turns is 4/3 times longer and 1/2 the range xp normally gotten would be defence xp instead So around 260k XP/hr. Better to do it then. That would make chinning 700k/hr lol. I dont think even the chin+cannon+steel titan method is that fast, either way the titan and cannon dont give defence xp. According to what I keep hearing, Chinning is 700k XP/hr without cannon. Are you absolutely positive that when people tell you 700k/hr they aren't referring to total xp gain? Because that would be about accurate for chinning without cannon or anything.

As a quick estimate the ~73.5m attack xp he has left will get him something like ~25m xp in charms if he does black demons, not entirely sure that's accurate though lol.

The only thing I'm wondering, suomi, is this: Why set up a paypal account so people could actually send money to you for it? If it was a joke, no need to do that. All you did was create more work for yourself and ensure that people wouldn't be able to tell if it was actually a joke or not. That's why it really seems like you're just trying to backpedal and save face when you realized not everyone else was jumping to take advantage of this like you were. If it was all for a "late April fool's joke" (seriously...? you must realize how that sounds), making a legitimate paypal would have never even been considered. I believe that you don't support it, but at the same thing I believe you were ready to take full advantage of what the game now offers regardless of if it's in the spirit of the game or not (hey it makes sense, either adapt or be left in the dust by those who do), and I also believe you were expecting others to do the same - making it ok for you to do so as well. It was a similar situation with effigies, but people had to adapt to them or be left behind. I don't think having that mindset is such a bad thing, I just think you're in kind of a bad position to be expressing that.

Suomi, would you mind keeping track of how many hours each day you kill crawlers for, so users who track your xp gains can try to figure out the new drop rate based on time spent and number of effigies? Also, was Dragonseance going to camp black demons to finish melees off? If so, I'd be interested in his numbers as well. I'm curious if they nerfed all drop rates equally or if it was adjusted exponentially, or if they even just went and adjusted certain monsters more than others based on the speed that you can kill them. Ah nevermind, I just went to watch his year of the dragon video to check if it was black demons but it looks like he was planning on doing cave crawlers. Dunno where I heard black demons from =\

lol just noticed his sig I was in vacation, however I was informed upon logging in today that he did in fact achieve 200m all skills by Jan. 1, 2012. I'll explain the situation, him obtaining nearly 2.2 billion exp in the last hour before achieving 5b exp baffled Jagex to the point they instantly removed his account from the hiscores to assess the situation. After deciding it had to be glitched, they rolled him back and put him back on the highscores. No tracking site was able to capture this gain sadly, so we cannot see it that way either. Its really unfortunate that all his hard work and planning will never be shown. He was very disgusted and I wasn't able to talk to him since he achieved 5b exp. However, he did in fact obtain it. So you are right, I should hange it to "Desupty ACHIEVED 5b exp" Thank you for poining that out. OT- suomi is looking good for 200m all SECOND. Wow.

No offense but I was expecting a lot more. If you've ever done perfect laps at Advanced Gnome for any lengthy amount of time, you're constantly seeing how running functions exactly how you're describing. Also during the boot camp random. Good information to have though of course, I myself just never cared enough to do anything with it lol. The more technical things I only had a basic understanding of (in regards to ticks) though, so thanks for enlightening me there.

Lol I tend to view efficiency as putting in the least effort for acceptable results. Jebrim is in last place on the efficiency list in my opinion because he puts like 1000000x the effort into RS with like 1% more xp/hr when training.

I will agree from what I have read that SUOMI is a NEET, but I draw the line at calling him a leech.

Firemaking would block an effigy combo which would mean wasted xp/money when investigating effigies in the future although he has said himself that he's definitely considered 200m FM just for the sake of doing it and getting 4b xp quicker. People have suggested training it until like 180m or whatever so he can get the rest via investigating effigies to get the best of both worlds but I can't remember if he said anything about doing that or if he would rather just tank out RC all the way and worry about it later.

EDIT: To stay on topic Dragonseance's daily xp gain on runetracker is a whopping 858k I'm curious how long he can keep up this insane pace because if he does it might turn into a neck and neck race for 5b between him and suomi.

so i guess there are three options in terms of xp cap: 1. leave it the same 2. adjust the xp you get in just about everything in the game so decimals are not needed and the new xp cap is 2147m (made to be 2b) instead of 214.7m 3. use 64 bit java 2 is too much work and 2b xp in an skill is really not enough to stop people from hitting the limit in some skills, and 3 as you said would likely cause whole other mess of problems. guess were stuck with 200m cap lol

as true as i think this is, I'd actually love to see it increased. isn't there another java limit after 2.147b thats like 9084239472983472983479283423239847234872394 or something stupid long that they could potentially use? edit: also they should just make a hall of fame for ALL 200mers and then maybe just have the active players with 200m show up on hiscores. or keep 200m as a separate achievement for hall of fame, where you graduate from hiscores to hall of fame once you achieve it. maybe you even get a cute star or something on your hiscores next to w/e 200m skill you have that shows you have 200m so people aren't like "y u no show up on hiscores for x skill?" idk just a thought, lots of ways to work with that maybe it'll get some of you thinking and you'll come up with the perfect solution lol
