  1. http://www.tip.it/runescape/quests/view/258-plagues-end

Note: I didn't fully read the quest guide, I'm just going to focus at the end of the guide.

Add a hyperlink to the map of Prifddinas, but before that we need to apparently map the whole city since we don't seem to have it in our database?

    Another things to add in the "Tips, tricks & notes" section;

-Hyperlinks to the Pyramid Plunder mini-game and to the Black Ibis outfit section:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/pyramid_plunder.htm

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/pyramid_plunder.htm#ibis

Or something similar like the exoskeleton outfit set: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items?keywords=exoskeleton&players=all&tag=all&tag2=all

-More information about the elf city, there's a lot to do there and frankly it took me well over a day to fully familiarize with the area.

In addition there are some hidden Seren's memory crystals around the whole city, which are acquired through various different ways. Obviously you'll have to create hyperlinks for each of the memory crystal items as well pin-point them in the city map once it's researched.

These crystals are probably just for those who like the lore, I've been waiting till I have gathered them all to read them in 1 go and therefore better understand them.

-Seren's of Voice is another significant thing to be aware of. Hmm.. What else... Perhaps explain each of the clan's skill specializations areas and bonuses etc.

    -How to create crystal items.

There's a lot more that could be added. But it's probably best to create a separate guide for the city where everything is mentioned?

    Edit: Check these out:

    http://forum.tip.it/topic/326413-update-prifddinas-lost-city-of-the-elves/

    http://forum.tip.it/topic/326963-10th-nov-2014-prifddinas-lost-city-of-the-elves-part-2/

  2. H15 is ok, but I want to focus on the bracelet itself: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6893-bracelet-of-clay

As you may have noticed; While mining in Prifddinas, you get 2 soft clay instead of 1! I think this should be mentioned in the item's information.

I heard that the Shooting Star mini-game could also be useful...?

H17, no information at all. The idea here is to have captured 10 different implings. However I've been a fan of these little fellas and it should had worked in the first try. So I got a list from the erm.. impling collector/fan elf (who's name I can't remember). And in the list I was missing some implings, which is a completely ridiculous statement. I'm assuming it's based during a certain time period. I suggest adding a hyperlink to Puro-Puro since it's the easiest method to find and catch them: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/impetuous_impulses.htm

Can't say much about H18 & 20 since still working on them.

H21, the cleansing crystal information has a few errors: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15512-cleansing-crystal

As you can see, in the "Location" part Prifddinas is misspelled. And the location to the monk gives little information. You should mention the monk is located in the Hefin Cathedral, even if it's obvious. Another good thing to have is a hyperlink to the vendor NPC and the NPC profile separately. The alchemy values are also missing, anyone rich enough can do it.

  3. H14, bacon is not the answer.

A mound of bacon is the right path to success! Also it's worth informing that you need to "use" one of the required items on Seren's crystal form.

-In addition I think it could be mentioned that while completing the objective; You receive many funny comments out of nowhere, which can be repeated as many times you'd like by repeating the task's objective.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13870-bacon-mound

    Few other things about bacon that I want to inform;

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13862-raw-bacon-stack

"Uses" section needs to mention that 2 of the same item are required to make a:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13864-raw-bacon-pile

Same problem with this item. With 2 of these you can create a:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13865-raw-bacon-heap

    I really think you should create a simple breakdown in each item's info, both raw and cooked;

How much bacon do you exactly need for each item?

A simple calculation: 2 raw bacon for the stack. 4 raw bacon for the pile. 8 raw bacon for the heap. And 16 raw bacon for the mound.

    Respectively;

2 raw bacon stacks for a pile. 4 raw bacon stacks for a heap. And 8 raw bacon stacks for the mound.

2 raw bacon piles for a heap. And 4 for a mound.

2 raw bacon heaps for a mound.

The same for the cooked versions, except it should be explained that you can only combine them when the bacon is raw.

  4. Before continuing, do we have any data from the new crystal items? Such as the crystal dagger?

Since I didn't find information on the crystal dagger for H5, I suggest at least hyperlinking the crystal weapon seed which is required to create the item. It's also possible to trade the weapon if it's not used I think. Explain how to create crystal items in the first place in Prifddinas.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15541-crystal-weapon-seed

-H6, explain how do you exactly create that juju potion. And where do you get the harmony moss seed! How to farm & successfully harvest harmony moss. Since there are 4 growing stages etc.

You need a juju farming potion (3): http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/10742-juju-farming-potion-3

(Why isn't there information about the (4) version? Flasks are also missing).

    And the harmony moss: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15614-harmony-moss

("Uses" section requires more information, for example it's also used in this task potion; perfect juju farming potion).

    (Explain the actual farming process).

    The harmony moss seed: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15400-harmony-moss-seed

    (Explain the actual farming process).

-H8, no information at all. To whom do you have to speak? Where is that elf? Etc. Create a NPC profile if Morvran doesn't have one already.

-H10 explain shortly what the shortcuts are. -It took me about 5 laps till I realized where, how and when the shortcuts appear etc.

Also mention it in the agility guide if not already mentioned, or wait; Simply re-check all guides in-case they are missing information from Prifddinas.

-H11, again no information at all. Not even a link to the summoning guide or to the familiar pouch. This familiar isn't easy nor simple to make, I suggest you research the information and explain it.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15427-light-creature-pouch

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15425-light-core

(Hyperlinks are missing in important items, I've also heard you can obtain these from other sources like crystal implings, I suggest more research on how to obtain these).

-H12, mention that you need to be close enough to the prayer altar. It's not necessary to pray at the altar however.

Also, I think this place should be mentioned in the combat guide if not already mentioned, seems quite an awesome place to fight. Reminds me of the gorillas in Ape Atoll since I used the prayer altar there when protection prayers still gave full protection. This place isn't as good as the old times, since prayers are nerfed and the soldiers can sometimes make you... erm... injured so you can't use prayers? I'm not really sure how it works, seems ridiculous.

    More in a few minutes...

  5. http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/tirannwn_tasks.htm#hard

The description to the hard tasks are practically just copy pasted info from the in-game info with a few links added. Nothing impressive there for a clueless newbie really.

The map codes are useless without an actual map. Which would be most useful in H9, H13, H14, H17, H19 & H21 since these don't have icons in the in-game map.

-H1 has multiple problems. To start with, add a hyperlink to the scroll: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7676-titans-con-scroll.

Now here's where the real problem is. The scroll info has no information on how a player can create scroll. It just says "...player made". Good to know you can make it yourself, but how exactly are you planning to make it? With magic notepaper?

Since the scrolls are used by all the level 79 summoning elemental titans, any of the 3 pouches can create this scroll.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7367-fire-titan-pouch

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7365-ice-titan-pouch

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7366-moss-titan-pouch

Create a hyperlink bridge between all pouches and their scrolls to start. After that explain how to create the scrolls in both pouch and scroll info.

Note that none of the 3 explains how to create their scrolls. What's more is that either I'm blind or there's not a single mentioning in the whole summoning guide in how to create scrolls!

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/summoning_guide.htm#scrolls

Also a highly useful information from the summoning -and probably all the other guides- is that the bonuses during the Seren's voice in Prifddinas aren't mentioned at all!

-H2 only has the old Crystal Bow mentioned. I'm not sure, but I'd imagine the new one would also work. Edit: I just took my old bow from the bank, and without realizing; I re-attuned it. Changing it's appearance completely. This should be mentioned in the item's information (not just "full", but everything and any other old crystal item which require updating):

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2558-crystal-bow-full

    Will continue on another page.

  6. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/3512-cell-door-key-tourist-trap

The key is alchable. Used high alchemy, received 0 coins though.

I think it could be useful to mention in each key's information whether or not a key can be added to the steel key ring. What do you think?

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/207-steel-key-ring

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2351-wrought-iron-key-tourist-trap-mine

The wrought iron key is also alchable. Gives 0 coins though.

Edit: For example: The tarnished key can not be added to the key ring, you could state it at the key's info: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4122-tarnished-key

  7. I suggest creating separate item information for each potion flask (1-6).

For example: Even though a prayer potion flask (4) can't be sold in G.E it's possible to pick up from the ground if another player dropped it.

I'm assuming it means they are tradeable if it's possible to pick up.

I'm not going to go any further on this topic since you probably see the idea.

    Moving on.

  8. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12809-pitchfork-of-vigilantism

The notes could be improved, I suggest adding more information.

There's a problem with the "Botany Bay" hyperlink: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/draft_botany_bay.htm

Here's a functioning link to Botany Bay guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/botany_bay.htm

I'd also recommend creating a hypeilink bridge between the pitchfork of vigilantism & it's upgraded version:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12810-pitchfork-of-justice

  9. All I see here is that people are basically giving up by saying there's no way for us to compete with the other help/fan sites.

If more Tip.It members helped updating our database and used their time polishing old out-dated guides we would gain more popularity. It's simply a matter of trying. With or without J mods.

Each site has their advantages and disadvantages, we aren't done for, and we wont be thanks to those who are still keeping the site running and constantly updating the website.

If you see something that's missing, old or otherwise should be mentioned; Don't hesitate to report it out in the forums.

If I may; I'm currently working in reincarnating TMHT and at the same time spending time in updating the database. Anyone interested in joining the TMHT project please contact me as soon as you can. Happy holidays.

  10. The Karamja dungeon (not the Tzhaar city) requires updating:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/karamja_volcano.htm

The three skeleton monsters' hyperlinks are ok. But the map's information on their levels require updating.

    Same problem with Elvarg.

Same problem with the Lesser demons..

    And the deadly red spiders...

And ofcourse. Once again there's just 1 unlucky bat in the whole dungeon. I think Jagex hates bats or something. The bat is missing from the map and it's level also differs as the others.

In the Southern area, there's a red spider's egg spawn which is also missing from the map. There are also some fire runes and bones spawns. Not very important.. Or maybe.. Idk.

This should be the right bat: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/45-giant-bat

    And the eggs: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1098-red-spiders-eggs

However in the map info, the local spiders no longer seem to drop them. I got 1 spirit emerald on 2nd kill so I guess all it drops are maybe charms and spirit gems.

Finally. The dungeoneering resource dungeon is completely missing. Not that I care for that place (or the whole skill) but this is just unbelievable. How far behind are we exactly?? Does anyone bother updating Tip.It anymore? Even in this thread it seems I'm the only one (though I admit I may be in the wrong thread sometimes). But still it's just so god damn sad sometimes.

Anyhow here's the awesome resource dungeon...

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/resource_dungeons.htm

I think I'm done here. Moving on.

  11. I just wanted to point out that on the new Slayer Tower there's still a bat. Just 1 in the whole tower, I guess they removed almost all the bats since no one fought them or something.
    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/slayer_tower.htm

The lonely bat is located on the ground level, close to the entrance flying at the west part of the tower.

I identified it's bestiary profile which requires a bit of updating also:
    http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/310-bat

Remember to add it to the Slayer Tower page since it's part of it.

Also I think it could be mentioned in the bestiary profiles that: Whose slayer master or masters' assignment is it from or by whom it's obtainable in other words.
What do you think? Similarly as what creatures a slayer master assigns but vice versa. Since there are a lot of monsters which count towards one slayer task and they don't take you directly to the different monster options nor their locations.

I know it requires some effort to complete it, but in the long term I'm confident that it will save people time finding information on whether or not a similar creature counts towards the assigned slayer task's criteria.

Edit: This bat counts towards Mazchna's bat assignment. For example.

The location of an NPC named "Mysterious ghost" is also missing from the Slayer Tower map. As he's in the Shadow realm, I suspect he was part of a quest. Can't remember.

The ghost can be found in the erm... 1st floor? Where the aberrant spectres dwell. In the South-Eastern corner of the tower.

  12. The lizard: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/551-lizard

    Also drops:

-Noted iron ore 1 or 2.

    -4 barley seed.

    -2 waterskins (3).

    -2 waterskins (1).

I was killing them East of Sophanem, as I mentioned earlier there are many types of Desert lizards which require more research. These were similar to the linked lizard monster, same examine, same combat level. Only the drops & location seemed different.

Edit: Please note I only had about 60 of them as a slayer task, it's possible that there are more drops which aren't mentioned in the bestiary nor I happened to receive.

  13. 3. At the final phase the dragon descends back to the ground and this time it has had enough with you!

The dragon basically becomes more aggressive, dealing a lot more damage which can kill you in two shots if you're unlucky enough/too slow to react. This is the hardest & most dangerous phase. It's max hit dealt around 600 damage to me in Legacy mode.

Throughout the fight the dragon's melee attack can easily be avoided by keeping away of it's melee range. It seems that only in second phase it didn't use melee attack at me. Guess he couldn't reach me.

    Tactics:
-Keep your health as close to it's maximum as possible.
-Using Ranged is the simplest combat style to deal with these and it saves inventory space.*
-Keep your Auto-retaliate active at all times.
-Be careful not to miss-click on another dragon. (I'm guessing using area of effect abilities may be too risky.
-Using melee against it is not suggested.
-Bring a ring of life just in case on your first time.**
    -Remember to bring dragonbane ammunition!***

*I used ranged only, since I felt it was the simplest way to deal them. After all you need to use ranged anyway.
** There was this stupid EoC player, who was stronger than me and also too overconfident. Basically what they did was not to bother with the healing or the fact that these are not green dragons they're dealing with. So death smiled upon them and the player was completely taken by surprise when the dragon gave it's deadly kiss. (He even managed to say "wtf" and never came back lol).
***Dragonbane bolts & arrows can't be traded. You must make them from the scratch by yourself.

Bring food, prayer potions etc. Basic monster hunting equipment. And remember the dragonbane ammunition. The rest you'll have to learn the hard way really.

Oh and forgot to mention: The Ritual of the Mahjarrat & The Fate of the Gods quests are required to access the dragons. The world gate to Kethsi -where the Rune Dragons live- is located South of the Eagles' Peak Lodestone, South-West from the Tree Gnome Stronghold.

  14. 2. In the second stage the dragon first shakes of it's broken armour scales & ascends to the air. Once there the fight will continue pretty much the same, except that the dragon can't be attacked with melee and it will use it's special "enhanced"dragonfire breath in addition to the normal version.

The enhanced breath is a blue-ish fire cloud that moves towards the player.

It can not be fully blocked, but it can be avoided by stepping aside fast. However I noticed that the damage from it is barely noticeable and that it's not worth losing an attack opportunity just to save 39 hp in Legacy mode. It's best to simply ignore it and proceed with the fight.

Oh I think I forgot to mention that in all phases the dragon can also occasionally stun the player. The animation shows the dragon firing some sort of icicles (or atleast that's how it looks), which roots/stuns the player, creating icicles beneath the player. You can still eat and drink, but you miss the attack & movement opportunity.

  15. The rune dragons recearch was discontinued, since Raptor is gone and I'm a free man again.

I'll explain shortly the mechanics & the tactics.

    The mechanics:

    1. At the first stage the dragon's rune scales are so strong that you need dragonbane ammunition to successfully harm the dragon and it's armour. If you don't use them, you deal almost 0 damage. Note that using an antifire potion + the dragonfire shield gives full protection from the dragon's breath on all stages except in stage 2 (more info in stage 2).

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/11678-dragonbane-bolts

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/11682-dragonbane-arrows

The arrows item info on the "Uses" section should also inform that these also receive bonuses when fighting any types of dragons.

However if you use arrows you should have level 85 herblore to access the super antifire potions:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8951-super-antifire-4

I think these should also work (?):

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16127-brightfire-potion-6

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16118-wyrmfire-potion-6

There's a spelling error in the wyrmfire potion's "Uses" section, Skeletal wyvern is misspelt. Also adding a hyperlink to those monsters would be recommended.

  16. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4690-spicy-stew

From the Evil Dave court case reward; It should be mentioned that all 5 spicy stews are neutral. I also believe that you can still add the spices! ;)

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/court_cases.htm

Was also thinking if we have/should have each spicy stew combination item treated as separate items and creating item information for each combination.

  17. The research is not over yet, however I noticed something about the bones information:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16106-rune-dragon-bones

I find it very strange that the Ectofuntus isn't mentioned there. Guess people are too rich or unpatient to care for it, or don't know about it.

Also why is there a link to the rune dragon when we don't even have a profile about it yet?

About the normal dragon bones: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1283-dragon-bones

It's sad, but the examine has changed. It no longer has the "!" in the end, instead it just has a dull dot -.-.

Also in the "Location" part; I don't think these are dropped from the adamant nor by rune dragons either. Or are they?

Lastly the Ectofuntus isn't mentioned here either lol. Actually it's probably better to check and update all the bones to be honest.

  18. Thanks to my good old buddy Raptor, I'm now spending some nice quality time with these Runite dragons! Beautiful and sometimes too deadly creatures.

I'll be editing this post slowly since I get to kill 50, already killed 30 or around that. So I'll be gathering information and posting it here. Also since I'm part of TMHT I feel this is also my job that has to be done sooner or later. I'll start with the drops then later on with the tactics etc.

    100% seems to be 1 un-noted Rune bar & 1 un-noted Rune dragon bones.

    In addition I've also always received 1 of the following possible drops;

    1 un-noted dragon platelegs.

    1 un-noted rune platelegs.

    40 runite bolts (unf).

    14000 coins.

    30 noted magic logs.

2 un-noted cooked rocktails (much appreciated!)

    1 un-noted rune kiteshield.

9 noted black dragonhide (not sure how, since these have metallic scales not hides?)

    1 un-noted rune chainbody.

    2 noted uncut dragonstones.

    49 noted molten glass.

    52 noted molten glass.

    460 noted flax.

    8 onyx bolt tips.

    3 noted rune bars.

    4 noted runite ore.

    3 un-noted prayer potion (3) (awesome!)

    47 noted teak planks.

    1 un-noted loop half of a key.

1 un-noted dragon longsword & a hard clue scroll. -The reason I mention these both at the same time is because this is the first time my ring of wealth did it's magic and I'm not sure if it's because the clue, the sword or both. The last option is that it's a bug but I doubt it.

Just got 1 dragon longsword without the ring trigger and without a clue scroll, so the ring of wealth only affects the clue drop.

It seems to sometimes drop some sort of a journal page to the ground. When I picked it up I received 100 smithing experience and received the following in-game message: "You add the page directly to the journal. (1/10)"

What journal?!? My quest journal?? Edit: Aah I received an item: "Forcae's journal" it's examine is quite fascinating: "How to torture your dragon".

I had an elite, tough son of a dragon. Instead of 40 runite bolts (unf) it dropped 70. Was hoping for something better :/.

Lastly it seems to always drop 4 charms of the same type whenever the hell it feels generous, I'd say it's rare that it doesn't drop charms, but it has happened to me 2 or 3 times.

Oh my f******* Guthix. I got another task of these, this time 68 zzz... These were cool like the first 30 kills, but after that they become so damn boring, not to mention annoying... Damn Raptor.

It's nice when people don't bother collecting loot, they kill the dragons faster than me that it's more than welcome. Guess EoCers are useful for something after all.

  19. The Fremennik achievement items have the same problem.

    The location where to claim/reclaim the seaboots;

1: Given by the council workman on the bridge South of Rellekka, East of the Fossegrimmen.

2: Given by Yrsa in Rellekka.

3: Given by Advisor Ghrim in Miscellania castle.

4: Given by Advisor Ghrim in Miscellania castle.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8389-fremennik-sea-boots-1

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8386-fremennik-sea-boots-2

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8388-fremennik-sea-boots-3

    The 4th is already mentioned.
