  1. I have lost count on how many times poor Maggie, the oxes, Wendy & the Swept Away starting quest location has been relocated, but right now the location is North-West of Draynor Village, East from the cabbage patch, West from the Draynor Lodestone.

At least the following require updating:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8108-broomstick

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/npcs/view/1675-maggie

Adding hyperlinks to the quest Swept Away: http://www.tip.it/runescape/quests/view/198-swept-away

For Wendy (and the others, mentioned below).

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/npcs/view/2915-wendy

Betty should also have a hyperlink to her but she is missing a proper NPC profile with the examine information + picture and possibly dialogues if anyone wants to add them. I can go check these basic things and post them here. But I guess this will have to do as a NPC profile for now: http://www.tip.it/runescape/shops/view/51-bettys-magic-emporium

Also, the "related links" on Betty's magic emporium should be updated too.

Hetty should also have a hyperlink on the quest and is completely missing a profile information from the database, needs examine & picture at least for that. Once that is done, I strongly suggest that everything closely related to her (such as quests) should be hyperlinked to her profile. For example her quest, the Witches potion: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/witches_potion.htm

Gus, another NPC from the quest is also completely missing his profile from our database.

    Same thing with Lottie.

I'll see if I can get some pictures for this week along with examines etc. For these NPCs without proper profiles.

  2. A break with the thieving for a while and let's go back to the farming guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/farming_guide.htm

There's something very useful missing there and it's an extra mushroom patch from the medium Tirannwn achievement rewards! http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/tirannwn_tasks.htm

This should be mentioned on the "Specials" section of the farming guide. I'm not sure when the guide will be updated, but I hope it will happen soon.

  3. All the stalls located in Taverley-Burthorpe area are missing there.

    A crafting stall.

    A seed stall.

    A bakery stall.

    A wine stall.

And 2 vegetable stalls, but they appear to be cosmetical. So there's just 1 stall really which makes you steal from the both stalls yet you only get loot from 1 as normally.

One small thing before continuing with the stalls section; I happened to pickpocket a gnome and received a snape grass seed, which isn't mentioned in the guide either:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13597-snape-grass-seed

Another thing is that the seed is missing it's low- & high alch values.

    Back to the stalls:

A small thing about the silk stall in Eastern Ardougne; If you right click the nearby silk trader, you'll see a quick option of selling silk to him for 20gp. However it's possible to get 60 gp for each silk, but it's only triggered through a dialogue which makes it inpractical even if you'd get 200% extra profit. The ring of Charos (a) has no effect here.

The tragic thing that I noticed (and it's already mentioned in the guide) is that the Al-Kharid gem stall has been removed/modified to make it impossible to steal!? I remember that the stall was directly south of an oasis and that you could steal gems from the stall. Or is my memory playing tricks with me?

  4. On the "Multiple pickpockets" section:

    -The warrior (dear god this hurts my brain): 2x requires 35 thieving & 25 agility, 3x requires 45 thieving & 35 agility, 4x requires 55 thieving & 45 agility.

On the "Stealing from stalls" section, I have some good news and bad newnews.

-The good news, you can now loot "Roll"s and DOUGHNUTS! From cake stalls.

I have found my inner peace thanks to my amazing thieving skills: http://lostinasupermarket.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/kidrobot-simpsons-homer-buddha-toy.jpg

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8659-doughnut

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4194-roll

Both are missing their weight info.

In addition Roll is tradeable and heals 25 HP in Legacy mode. So 250 in EoC I guess.

Finally if you take a closer look at the female baker's stall owner in Eastern Ardougne; you realize it's the beloved sandwich lady! I strongly suggest to have a nice small chat with her. She's lovely.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/shops/view/451-no-name

    Fix the URL name part.

More about the cake stall: the name is now "Baker's stall". In addition of what I already mentioned; you can also steal baguettes.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4192-baguette

They are also missing their weight. They are tradeable. And heal the same as Roll.

Just stole a Triangle sandwich & a Chocolate bar:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6614-triangle-sandwich

    Heals the same as Roll.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1332-chocolate-bar

I did it! I stole the square sandwich! I've stolen every item that is sold. I think I can finally move on with my life.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6613-square-sandwich

It's tradeable and it heals the same amount as Roll.

    Will continue on next post.

  5. Well... Brewing drinks takes long. So I decided to take a part-time job as a thief.

    About the Thieving guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/thieving_guide.htm

On the "Stealing from stalls" section: "... To thieve from a stall right-click on it, and select the 'Steal from' option."

    You can simply left click.

On the "Pickpocketing" section, see the Guard: it states that you obtain 30gp. However I happened to hang around and decided to get a little change and I got different amounts; ranging from 30 to 59 gp. I made sure it wasn't due to multiple pickpockets since each pickpocket is informed in the game individually.

I wouldn't be surprised if it would be possible that you can get more/less than what I managed to get. Also I suspect that we'll have to make an extended study on each pickpocketable NPC.

After about a hundred pickpockets I'm convinced that the Knight of Ardougne grants exactly 50gp when pickpocketed.

On the Paladin it should be mentioned that you get 80gp AND 2 chaos runes at the same time. Otherwise it seems fine. (Not saying I got a court summons, since it could take ages to test that).

Important! Realized that there are many new pickpocketable NPCs that are missing from the list:

    -Pompous merchants, thieving level 1.

-The guide needs a name update on the thieving level 45 bandit, the new name is: "bearded Pollnivian bandit".

-The guide needs a name update on the thieving level 55 bandit, the new name is: "Pollnivian bandit".

    -Iorwerth workers, thieving level 91.

    -Ithell workers, thieving level 92.

    -Cadarn workers, thieving level 93.

    -Amlodd workers, thieving level 94.

    -Trahaearn workers, thieving level 95.

    -Hefin workers, thieving level 96.

    -Crwys workers, thieving level 97.

    -Meilyr workers, thieving level 98.

Will continue on a new post soon....

  6. Some things about the farming guide I've been working on.

A huge improvement: add hyperlinks to the seeds/products/mentioned items etc. Makes it easier to navigate if one wants info on how to obtain the item(s), it's/their price(s) and so on.

So far I've noticed few things that are missing and are worth mentioning:

Pork pie & the daring drinks aren't mentioned:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13871-pork-pie

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13875-mature-pigswill

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13873-pigswill

+5, +4 & +5 levels from up to down order. These are important to mention (on the next post more about different drinks).

You can store noted farming supplies: empty buckets, compost, supercompost, plant cures. Scarecrows are an exception since they can't be noted.

This means that you can buy these items straight from G.E for example and you wont have to make multiple bank runs to store your items (except the scarecrow since it can't be traded).

Few things about the "Scarecrows" section:

-Add information on how to make a bronze spear yourself, for example the spear's link holds all the useful information:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2730-bronze-spear

-"...(you can only buy watermelon from other players)." I feel this is somewhat misleading. The word ONLY can be read as if you couldn't farm the watermelons yourself, even the point here is that no vendor sells them. Also there's a spelling error, it should be like this; ...buy a watermelon/watermelons.

-Adding hyperlinks for the items mentioned in the section is advised in general.

-There seems to be a problem when trying to retrieve a planted scarecrow; you can't use your tool belt spade (right clicking on the flower patch -with a scarecrow on it- and selecting "clear"); Will destroy the scarecrow.

Instead you must use a normal spade; Right click on the spade and select use, then click on the flower patch with the scarecrow on it. I suspect this is a bug. Someone submit a bug report, I can't understand how to do it myself.

    Finally on the "Tips" section:

"Some patches are far from water sources. Fill your watering can every time you walk by a fountain, sink, or well. (Use bucket on well, use watering can on bucket.)....."

I think this is no longer a big issue as it used to be. Since there appears that the farmers finally had the brilliant idea of gathering rainwater in a water tank/cistern, only a few places are without a nearby water source.

In addition you can nowadays use water directly on the item. No need to use a bucket of water on clay to make soft clay for example.

  7. Something to ease the mood... Yep. It's time for the Karamjan Rum!

Basically the normal Karamjan rum: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2154-karamjan-rum

The rum is used in the Tai Bwo Wanna Trio quest, but only the Pirate's Treasure is mentioned on the item's information. (Not sure about the weight. Around 500g-1000g is my guess).

    The other two:

    Sliced banana & banana versions:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/852-karamjan-rum--sliced-banana-

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1825-karamjan-rum--banana-

I discovered something fascinating. You can smuggle these 2 off the island for your late night happy hours! I accidentaly teleported out and a miracle happened! They didn't break like the normal rum! No more questions of "Why is the rum gone!?!". (Jack Sparrow refetence).

This is only mentioned on the sliced banana, but not on the other.

In addition sliced banana rum is a quest item (currently it says "no").

The banana version is technically also a quest item. It's said that the item was a trick/joke for players who forgot to slice their banana lol. Finally it's missing it's weight.

    Cheers!

  8. @Arceus.

I think I confused Ernest with the other old quests such as Romeo & Juliet, Black Knight's Fortress etc.

Found Ernest the Chicken in my quest journal after realizing I had a filter toggled which I didn't notice. So I assumed it was either removed or replaced since some old quests had this sad fate. My bad, was maybe too tired that day. Sorry to bother.

About the PoP items I can't help with the degradation hits sorry. I need to level a lot more to even start using PoP properly. But if no one has updated by then, I'll see if I remember and provide info in the distant future.

On the fishing equipment part: I only bothered to take like 5 copies. But I'm sure that you can literally fill your whole inventory, say 28 fishing hats without any extra payment. This applies to every piece equipment.

Thanks for helping on the parts I can't help! Will keep bombarding with more information and/or suggestions. Try to survive!

  9. I'm amazed that JaGex added a further use for the Ring of visibility: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/463-ring-of-visibility

On the Penguin hide & seek minigame: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/penguin_hide_and_seek.htm

However one small suggestion: on the ring's information it should be pointed out it's usefulness on the minigame. Aswell any other possible uses.

Edit: removed my last comment since there's a lot more useful information that's missing. It's up to you now Arceus!

  10. Was walking around Ardougne and happened to pass by the Construction servants' house. There appears to be a new servant named "Royal Guard" from the event of the Diamond Jubilee.

He is missing from the Construction guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/construction_guide.htm#people

I have no idea if Love Story quest affects the payment price, I can hire him with 375 coins. But not researching any more since I feel my Demon Butler is better and can't be bothered to fire and then re-hire him afterwards.

  11. Currently making a full check for the Fish Flingers guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/fish_flingers.htm

I saw few mistakes on the "Getting there" section:

The location named "Lumbridge Swamp" is misleading. First of all the area called Lumbridge Swamp is South of Lumbridge. Second of all, I remember the river next to the location we are talking about is called river Lum. It would be better to call the location River Lum or at least simply Lumbridge instead of Lumbridge Swamp.

In addition it's North-East of the bank, anvil etc. No need to explain: "Just across the bridge and slightly North from the Lumbridge bank chest and anvil/furnace."

On the Taverley's location description: "...area at the end of the river." This doesn't sound right. It's a lake on that point. From the lake the water flows down the river towards the sea. That's how it usually goes in nature. By saying at the end of the river I'd assume near the coast where the river connects with the ocean. Not vice versa.

On the "Playing the game" > "Controls" section: "To begin catching fish after selecting a tackle combination, stand near the edge of the water where you're fishing and select the "cast" button from your control panel."

In addition you can simply click on the nearby fishing barrel to fish on the corresponding fishing area.

Another one is the "Big fish" which can weigh up to 250kg. However later on the "Tips and tricks" section is stated that the maximum weight of a fish can be 199kg. These seem to contradict with each others. Which one is correct?

Lastly there's no mention on the whole guide about the depletion levels; The longer you fish in the same spot, the sooner it will fill up the "deplete" bar and each level slows your fish catch rate.

This can't be resetted untill the start of the next game. So I'd advise rotating fishing spots to avoid this small obstacle. Also make use of the "Ratings" button so you can switch fishing spots without having to try each bait combination again for the 100% rated fish.

I think this is all I could find.

  12. The following items:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12282-fishing-hat

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12283-fishing-jacket

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12285-fishing-boots

Have a small spellling error located on the "notes" section, the URL link; Fishing waders are misspelled as "Wishing waders".

In addition to this it could be mentioned that you can have multiple copies of each equipment piece free of charge. Though not sure if there's much use on having multiple sets when they can be re-claimed so easily anyway.

Everything else seems to be in order.

  13. The Great Orb Project: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/great_orb_project.htm

Hasn't changed besides of the addition of Thalers I believe.

Anyhow it should be worth noting that each orb will move a minimal 2 tile spaces whether you pull or push. Without obstacles in the way ofcourse.

On the "Strategies and tactics" section: "One essential fact about the barriers is that they do not work on orbs that are already being manipulated at the moment they are placed."

This is partially true. If the orb goes in a straight line towards the barrier that was set up after the orb is manipulated; It will go through it.

However if the orb fails to go a straight line and gets stuck & automatically fixes itself to move a bit to the right or to the left, then continuing it's trail till meeting the barrier; It will not go through it and therefore the orb is succesfully blocked.

Another thing is that the angles aren't mentioned in the guide? Angles are very important in this game.

Finally the first one to make contact with the orb obtains full control of it and no ally can affect it untill the first tries to re-tag the orb either manually or by the orb going too far away & the character automatically follows it and tries to retag it.

This is a very annoying issue if some idiot decides to make fun of their own team or for some reason decides to be a total jerk.

Can't remember if this same rule applied when enemy team players try to sabotage already controlled orbs. I know it will work if the orb is untagged.

  14. Edit: noticed that what I previously wrote on this post was totally out of date and unnecessary.

I'll just pay up my mistake by pointing few things about the cosmetic Ice warrior boots I happened to win: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16331-ice-warrior-boots

I checked the weight by only wearing the boots and having nothing in my inventory. It seems that these boots weight 0 kg. However it doesn't show the decimals. So these may weigh more than 0kg.

In addition I happened to come by some information stating that these fire, ice etc. Cosmetic gears are related to the Desert Treasure boss encounters. So it might be worth checking this info out and adding it to the notes of the items.

Edited so it's understood that this post was wrong at the beginning. Not the previous posts.

  15. Superior Tetsu body is also missing it's examine, already mentioned the problem so I just add the links:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13279-superior-tetsu-body

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13278-tetsu-body

Same thing with the helm: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13280-superior-tetsu-helm

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13277-tetsu-helm

Legs seem to be fine surprisingly.

A suggestion for the Tetsu katana & wakizashi + Death lotus dart & the off-hand version:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15823-tetsu-katana

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15824-tetsu-wakizashi

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/14718-death-lotus-dart

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/14719-offhand-death-lotus-dart

Make a hyperlink bridge between these pairs and mention each other the same way as with the magic weapon equivalents. Otherwise new players may not realize the other item's existence.

An additional problem with the both mentioned Death lotus darts is that they are both misinformed on being in the arrow equipment slot. While they should be classified as main- & off-hand weapons.

This is all I can do for now. I used a spesific advanced search to quickly navigate through this mess:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/advanced-search-results?tag=124&per_page=50

However please notice that I only checked the armour & weapon items. The jewelry and all the other items remain unchecked. In addition if the advanced search is missing some items; it will be more problematic to find & possibly fix them.

  16. Seasinger kiba & Seasinger makigai are both tagged as melee even they are magic type:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15784-seasinger-kiba

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/15854-seasinger-makigai

Superior Seasinger's hood is missing it's examine information:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13285-superior-seasingers-hood

Although it's probably the same as the normal version: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13282-seasingers-hood

Superior Seasinger's robe bottom has the same problem as the hood: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13286-superior-seasingers-robe-bottom

The robe top has the same problem, but I already mentioned it in the start.

Both Reefwalker's capes (normal & superior) are missing their weight information: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/14716-reefwalkers-cape

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/14717-superior-reefwalkers-cape

In addition the superior version is missing it's high- & low alchemy values.

    Time for another post...

  17. Was looking for some mage armour and noticed that the superior Seasinger's robe top is missing it's examine, weight and duration time.

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13287-superior-seasingers-robe-top

I'm not familiar with the Player owned Ports content so there might be more information missing.

However it seems that every PoP armour item is missing it's weight information. Not sure if weight is important as it used to be, but the information should be added. And each superior armour is missing it's duration time.

    Death lotus chestplate: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13289-death-lotus-chestplate

The link on the notes section is wrong. Instead of taking you to the superior version: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13292-superior-death-lotus-chestplate

It takes you back to the exact same Url. So it just goes in loops.

    Death lotus hood: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13288-death-lotus-hood

Has the same problem as the chestplate, which should take it to the superior version: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/13293-superior-death-lotus-hood

Also all Lotus armour are tagged as melee instead of being ranged type armour.

Will make a separate post since there's more..

  18. Noticed just that Vecna skull could use some updating: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/11074-vecna-skull

Says that it boosts magic by 6 levels, but I just used it and it boosted my magic from 86 to 96, which is 10 levels. I think this is good to know, been using for quite a long time, but only today happened to notice while checking slayer stats in combat.

Not sure if the recharge time remains the same.

Edit: Recharge time remains the same, trying to activate it before out of cooldown states that you need to wait 7 minutes. However if your magic stat is still boosted even by 1 level, you are forced to wait till it's normalized. In other words x/x again.

  19. Not sure about the whole hunter guide, since I'm still carefully studying 1 guide at a time (started from farming & still on it...)

Anyhow I happened to found a small mistake on the hunter guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/hunting_guide.htm

At the "Impetious Impulses" section. It seems the newest member of the family, the divine impling is yet to be found there. I managed to catch one (had to go all the way to Oo'glog since I was missing 1 hunter level to catch it). Level 79 hunter is required to catch it.

Afterwards I checked the ingame guide and noticed there's also a Crystal Impling, requiring level 95 hunter. Haven't seen one yet though.

In addition I suggest once again adding hyper links to this guide also. For example:

-Baby Impling could have the bestiary link equivalent: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/1724-baby-impling

-And/or the item link equivalent: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6950-baby-impling-jar

Simply to make the guide more appealing to new and current Tippers.

  20.

Found a few small mistakes with the Mask of the Ganodermic:http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16224-mask-of-the-ganodermic

It's still obtainable, was lucky to receive this nice & useful item. Also what's the definition of "in exhange for a small cost" when trying to reclaim the destroyed/lost item from Diango?

I found out that there are more slayer masks, but haven't checked them since I don't know their names. But I suspect they might require updated information too.

It's a small amount of coins like 20K-30K I believe, but I don't know the exact amount. Unless someone wants to volunteer their services as a guinea pig :P.
I decided to test it then. Luckily I didn't have to actually destroy it! By simply right clicking on the destroy option it's noted out that it costs 35000 (35k). And that no progress is lost. You also need to be a member. I can post a picture if needed.

Also I noticed that the Bakriminel Bolt guide could use updating: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/bakriminel_bolts.htmhttp://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/bakriminel_bolts.htm

Not that I care. But it's missing info on how it would work with EoC. Updating the gear stats info is also suggested.

Edit: On the "Fastest Route" part 3; Wouldn't it be more economical to simply use the lodestone teleport to Edgeville and run East over the bridge to access the fairy ring network? The time difference isn't too great and you wouldn't have to make/use slayer rings necessarily.

  21. Found a few small mistakes with the Mask of the Ganodermic:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16224-mask-of-the-ganodermic

It's still obtainable, was lucky to receive this nice & useful item. Also what's the definition of "in exhange for a small cost" when trying to reclaim the destroyed/lost item from Diango?

I found out that there are more slayer masks, but haven't checked them since I don't know their names. But I suspect they might require updated information too.
