  1. I'm just a regular old joe player. This cryptic clue fest stuff really goes over my head. Could someone at least direct me to where I can get some help? It seemed odd that Tip.it hasn't had anything on it yet. I'm sure a lot of you don't find Christmas crackers worth getting, but I'm pure nub and need a little help lol. I didn't want to be a dbag and post it on the RS forums. Hope y'all don't mind me trying to ruin all the fun of the cryptic clue fest but this stuff just blows right over my head. I'm referring to today's clue, and any that may come after. Is there like a twitter I'm supposed to follow or something? I read that and all I can think is the Tzhaar pits... but I wouldn't have a clue what supplies he would need. At this point, any help would be appreciated.
  2. Do you not need to go to Oziach at all? Yes. Note how it uses "HE" a lot - you are thinking he is referring to the Guild master right? But then why would it then say "Return to the Champion's Guild, where the Guild Master will give you the key to Melzar's Maze". Obviously, the "He" was referring to Oziach, while it is actually the Guild Master who gives you the info. That is exactly what happened. You "Start" the quest with the guild master, he then sends you to Oziach, who gives you NO INFO. He just says -go slay a dragon- (don't quote me!) and you have to go back to the guildmaster who THEN gives you THE INFO. This would be slightly different than what the guide states; merely in a possesion of who says what...
  3. Jan 26 2012 was when I first witnessed this, though I can probably guarantee it has been like this for a while (months) now. In the Dragon Slayer quest guide it says that Oziach is more or less the one who gives the info on the quest, and the keys; while it is however the Guildmaster in the Champions guild who now gives the keys, the info on the quest, and even a little history of Crandor itself. Broken down: *You get the quest from the guildmaster *You go ALL THE WAY TO OZIACH *Then you go BACK to where you originated, to start a quest, you technically already started -.- I'm guessing, they reduced Oziach's position in the quest as simply the guy who sells rune plates. In order for newer players to receive this knowledge, they kept it in the questline, even though it is incredibly redundant (questwise) and annoying.
