  1. Thanks. :^_^: I remember you, too. You posted in my old blog. Thanks for the welcome. :) Yeah, I joined Runescape on a dare. I worked in a video game store for a while and my coworker dared me to play Runescape and actually make some progress since I wasn't into gaming at the time. I enjoyed myself when I started though and I'm back again now that I've completed one of the most stressful years of my life.
  2. Hey guys, I'm returning after being away for about seventeen months. I ran a short-lived blog whilst active on this forum, then real life and university got in the way and I ended up putting Runescape on the back burner. I'm back now, and I'll be sticking around for as long as my short attention span will let me. :D I guess I'll just introduce myself again since it's been such a long time. My name is Alice, I'm 24 years old and I'm from England. Runescape was one of the first games I ever played and since getting a taste I've played a lot of offline games. I even own a Playstation 3 and a Vita, but I'm back to Runescape now as I enjoyed my brief stay and want to get into online gaming. :) My ingame name is Spimuncular, the same as on this forum and my Combat level is 85 as of this post. I haven't put much time into Runescape at all. Hopefully that'll be changing though, so if anyone wants to add me for a chat I'm more than happy to accept and kill some time. I'm already hanging around the unofficial chat channel where I've met a few people but I'm always open to making a few more friends. So yeah. That's me. I'm back, I guess. :D
  3. I'm proud to be a member. It's good to see the club leader speaking such inspirational words. :) Jadinko, I'd rather not say which university I am studying at in the interest of privacy. But English Language is an enjoyable course, even if the employment prospects aren't brilliant. Oh well, I'll jump that hurdle when I get to it . . . :P Thanks everyone for the support. The first post has been updated with Entry Five! :D
  4. Thanks everyone for the support, as usual. The advice has been really helpful! :D I guess I'm gonna have to start on Dungeoneering soon but I'm really not looking forward to it . . . The first post has been updated with Entry Four! :D
  5. lol noob. ;) Your stats seem to be going well, and I absolutely love your hat collection. Please tell me you still have it! :P Keep up the good work, I'll be there to annoy you with private messages along the way! :D P.S You have awesome taste in music. Just sayin'. ;) <3:
  6. Exactly the same as this. :D
  7. Dogs. Literally, any dog as long as it's not attacking me. :D Seriously... If I'm walking down the street and see someone with a dog, I always look at said animal and it instantly makes me smile. You'd also be surprised how warmly their owners tend to greet you when they notice you acknowledging their pets. I'm definitely a dog person. Sometimes I prefer their company to humans because I can talk to them about literally anything and they just look back at me with bright eyes and a stupid grin wondering when they're next going to be fed. I respect that. :D
  8. Pretty much the same as when I'm not alone. In the mornings, I tend to walk around the house in my underwear and a t-shirt anyway. Since my housemate is another girl it really isn't a big deal to either of us. Loud music? My housemate doesn't care. She plays loud music too. I sing and dance a lot when I walk around the house, but I do that whether I'm alone or not. I guess there isn't really a lot I do differently. :o
  9. I love the pun there. ;) I intend to, but I won't be getting membership until Saturday. Until then I have an annoying level 10 cap on all of my p2p skills, apparently. :( Ambler, thankew! I don't think I'm doing too badly but I'm very much still learning the basics of the game. :) When I figure out what a TMHT event is, I will most certainly be there! :P
  10. Thank you very much for your advice. :) I'm now Woodcutting and finding it to be extremely quick compared to Mining and Smithing. I've gone from 10-26 in 40 minutes. :s DuskEclipse, thank you very much! :D I didn't find it too hard to train, but I have carpal tunnel syndrome and my wrist was actually killing me by the time I hit 50.
  11. I've killed a lot of cows ;) I also discovered that the trick is not to spend anything unless you earn a profit back from it; the only investment I've made that didn't instantly result in me earning more gold was my set of Mithril armour. I'm pretty quick at picking things up and I've had a lot of helpful advice from members of Tip.It who have added me ingame. I really appreciate the help and it's been fantastic meeting all of you so far. :D
  12. Thank you very much for the kind offer, but I'm trying not to take free stuff. I don't like accepting gifts in real life, so I don't see why I should be any different online. :) I've managed to earn my first 1million gold already. So I don't think I'm doing too badly. :D
  13. Well, it looks like I started at the right time. :) But I have just obtained a £15 membership card, so the trial definitely encouraged me to subscribe almost immediately after starting Runescape. I guess this is a sign it did its job.
  14. You're on! It's a race! :D But something tells me you have a rather large headstart... The first post has been updated with Day Three! :D
  15. Thanks :D I don't really mind repetitive tasks, I've worked in retail for long enough that I've learned to switch my brain off. Thank you for your kind words. :) Saradomin_Mage, I was there to finish a Burthorpe task and pick up the ring. Grouping sounds scary so it's the last skill I'll probably train :P
