    Its been a few days, mostly because Im lazy. In the time since the last update, all I have managed to do is get 86 magic from superheating gold, which put me at 76 smithing. Yay.
     
    Now, I said before that I was planning on selling off all my armor and stuff. Well, thanks to a poop economy, I couldnt sell a single item. So, since I still had all my armor and what not, i relapsed into slaying as is my want. So yea, Ive been slaying like crazy today. Still not a huge fan of the new combat and all, but it sure is nice being able to mostly 2 it nechs on task. Other than that life is pretty slow right now.
     
    Oh, all I need to start writing my new story is a good female character name. I was thinking of either Annabel or Elizabeth with Lizzie for short. The main character's name is gonna be Owen. So if ya'll have any input, feel free to tell me

    Well, I guess Ill make this short and sweet. I just typed out one of my longest entries to date, and then I accidently hit the back button and lost it all. Now im not in the mood to rewrite everything. Ill just say that Skyfall is good. Still not sure about the EoC, seems like it will be good in the long run. I love poptarts. Getting frustrated with Black Ops II a bit, whcih means more RS time. Derp on me.

    So yea, just got home from an Aerosmith concert. Text based words can not describe the awesomeness involved in such an event. For being in their 60s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are still sexy, and thats coming from a totally straight guy. Steven Tyler still has his scream going, which I guess I can blame my ringing ears on. Joe Perry still shreds the guitar like none other. So yea, ROCK ON! \:D/
     
    In game, I woke up super early today and couldnt go back to bed, so I went to pest control. I ended up finishing with 500/850 points needed for a full set, still not sure which helm to get, but I dont have to make that decision right away. Thats all I really did today since the rest of my time was spent at work, or rocking out.

    I decided to start a blog. Dont ask why, because like most questions, I dont have an answer. Unless of course the question doesnt really matter, because then I have all the answers.
     
    Anyway, I guess I should start with stuff about me.
    Well, Im a 17 year old guy, turning 18 in march. Im in my last year of highschool. I live in the biggest city in my state, which has a total of 450,000 people.
    I love to read, though I dont get nearly as much time to read (for pleasure) as I wish. Ill try to read anything, from War and Peace (got decently far before I finally gave up out of sheer boredom) to Twilight (yea, dont judge, it wasnt half bad) but my favorite genre would have to be fantasy. Favorite series would have to be the Inheritance cycle, the Pendragon series, and so many more that I dont have room to mention. I also like to write along the same lines, but never get very far on my books before I start something new.
    Video games are what takes up alot of my reading time, because I love to play games with my friends. Obviously, Runescape is a big one. Mostly play Battlefield 3, and now Assassins Creed 3 (gonna try to 100% this, so it will take a while).
    Umm, besides that, I love to run, swim, bike, and hike (gonna spend a month on the Appalachian trail hopefully next summer). I also work as a lifeguard, which is a pretty sweet first job.
    Oh, music. I love music. Huge part of my life. One can always find me with a headphone plugged in (even in class). My music preferences are even more diverse than my reading. From metal, to opera, to classical, to dubstep, to everything else. My mom says she is always surprised because my music in my room is always changing. Notable bands include A7X, MCR, Rise Against, Alesana. Also, turntable.fm...If you have never been to this site, i urge you to go. Best thing ever for music streaming.
     
    So, thats all about my personal background, lets get down to some RS talk.
    Started my account I would say 6 years ago, not really sure. Played on and off as F2P, then decided to get members and became more hooked. Never been one to grind it out, which is why I have yet to get a 99. I just kinda do what I want in game and not really care.
    Current Rs goals are 88 summoning, then 99 range. After that Im gonna solo the crap out of Kree. I just love going there, for whatever reason, range is my favorite skill.
     
    For now, thats it. Quick sum up of me. Im a internet raised child, reddit, imgur, and sadly 4chan have had a large impact upon who I am.

    Ill do my best to update this atleast weekly, ideally daily. Ill post about RS accomplishment, and stuff IRL I deem important enough

    Since the economy tanked, my school district canceled all field trips to save money.
     
    Today, my sociology class went on a field trip. My first field trip in 5 years is also during my last year of highschool, so I was stoked. Our destination? The local jail of course.
     
    Anyway, remind me to never ever ever get arrested. The jail was creepy. It smelled bad, and was just scary. The inmates just stared at us the entire time we were there (yea, we were in the same rooms and everything). It was a super depressing place because there were next to no windows at all.
     
    Im one of those people who always has to be doing something. Writing, doodling, building, playing, something at all. I would go insane with nothing to do all day. So yea, dont ever get arrested. Its a scary place.
     
     
    In other news, netflix just got the new episodes of How I Met Your Mother. This is the best show ever. Needless to say, I shall be finished with the entire season by friday.
     
    Scaping wise, I may or may not slack from my slaying to work on getting the levels to do the new quest. I kinda liked the the other tzhaar quests, which for me is abnormal. I dont usually like quests.

    CIA vs CDC

    I guess Ill start with my in game activities for once.
     
    I have made a drastic decision. That decision is to sell most of my combat gear (bandos, weapons, that stuff) and put most of that cash into getting my stats up. I made the goal a while ago to get 70 in all skills, and then 75 and so on. But, as I work on them, I get bored and go back to my fall back plan of slayer. Selling the vast majority of my stuff not only allows me to have cash to spend on the money skills, it also forces me to work on skilling. Without my beloved slayer gear, how can I slay? Hopefully this pays out and I dont relapse and rebuy all my gear. So far it seems to be working, and I am steadily burning my way through the 11k gold ores I have to super heat. I havent actually sold anything yet, so if any of you are looking to get some shiny new bandos armor, or maybe a new Saradomin Sword, or even a wicked Zamorakian Spear, feel free to message me and we can work something out. If you mention my blog, I might knock off a few hundred k or so. And for the defense masters our there, Ive still got an Amulet of Fury and a powerful Berserker Ring. So yea, buy my stuff if you want it.
     
    Now, onto the fun part. Finally got enough friends online at once to play the new grief mode in Black Ops II zombies. Basically, you are put on two teams, the CIA and the CDC (center for disease control). Then you are unceremoniously pitched into a closed zombie map with each other, with a single goal. Be the last team standing. You cant shoot each other, but you can manuver the zombies so the other team gets swarmed. Plus, power ups like max ammo and insta-kill are only given to the team that collects them. In our game, my team kept getting lucky and getting all the max ammos. We eventually were the last team standing, even after one of our team mates disconnected twice. So yea, This is probably one of the best new features of the new Black Ops game.

    What else goes with the other two? Unicorns, of course. And thats exactly what I have now. 88 summoning. Yea buddy. It literally took every single last charm I had in the bank, and I just barely made it. I used 10 skill pendant recharge thingies, my pumpkin amulet, and Ive been using the skill lamps from Yelps for a while. I finally have my very own unicorn! The ladies are gonna want rides all day.
     
    Now what to do with my new found healing powers...

    Bring on the flak

    Ill just begin with my only interaction with rs today being my log in for my daily skills and a farming run. The rest of my free time went to Black Ops II, namely zombies. And let me say, woah. Totally better than the original zombies (which were epic to start with), The new stories should be interesting. I have yet to try out most of the features, like 8 man games and what not, but those times will come soon enough.
     
    So now about the flak. You thought it had to do with COD, didnt you. Admit it, you did. Anyway...Ive begun the slow process of coming out as an atheist to my family. Im starting with my sister, because she is the least religious of my family. The two of us were raised Roman Catholic, but she digressed into just general theism. So we are debating that as I type. She just cant grasp the concept of not believing in any supreme being. But its going well, since she understands that Im entitled to my own views. The real issue will come from my parents. My plan there is to get them both a copy of The God Delusion for Christmas (yes, I still choose to celebrate out of tradition). I just wont give them the books until after Christmas so I dont ruin it. That, and I dont want them telling my extended family, which would be a nightmare. So yea, bring on the flak and crap.

    No scaping today. Why? Because I love wasting xp hurr durr durr. No, recently spent too much money between AC3, my horse mask, gas, and books. So I told myself to just wait for Christmas to get Black Ops II. And on release day, I was like whatever (first time I havent gotten a new COD game on the day of release since the original Modern Warfare). And then school. Seems like all I could hear about was Black Ops II. Eventually my resistance failed me, and I drove over to the store and bought it. And....the hype is well deserved. From my little play time, it has the potential to become one of the best COD games yet. With that said, I only have about 30 minutes on the campaign and maybe 2ish hours on the multiplayer. What has me most excited though, is the 8 person zombie matches Ive heard about. Ill give them a try when I finally get enough friends together to field a full team. You cant just kill the undead hordes with some random guy.

    Increase in solo dg xp and tokens? Yes please. Ive always disliked dg because i didnt like the people, but solo xp was too slow. Now its still kinda slow, but much more manageable. So yea, thats what Ive done all day just clearing those dungeons. Gained 4 dg levels, and got a decent amount of tokens. I know its still gonna take a while to amass 200k tokens for a rapier, but its now an attainable goal.
     
    In other news...I have officially finished the main story line of Assassins Creed 3. The ending was just meh, not sure if they are gonna make another game or not. Kinda hope they do, but kinda hope they dont. We will see I guess.
     
    I also finished the Mark of Athena, the third book in the Heros of Olympus series. Great read, and for whatever reason really made me want to visit Rome. So now I have an actual goal to save my money for, for my senior trip this summer. Ive also been hashing out a new story to start on, and Ive gotten more ideas for this than ever before. As always though, the biggest challenge is to just sit down and start writing. Finally in the Lit section, the new book Ive started on is....The God Delusion by one Richard Dawkins.

    Chasing the impossible

    Its been a few days, but I think the world will go on if I miss a few blogs.
     
    Anyway, I guess Ill start with some IRL stuff. If you remember a few posts ago, I stayed home from school because of my stupid back. Well, first Ill just say that I played ultimate frisbee with my cross country team (as we do every friday during the winter) and hurt it more, but I can still function. Im just in pain. Second, due to my missing school, I had to learn a physics lesson outside of class. My teacher doesnt use a book, so I couldnt just read the required section. So, I had to ask someone in my class to teach me. For better or worse, I asked my ex girlfriend to teach me. We are still on talking terms, and it was a mutual(ish) break up, so things werent too bad. So I went to her house after school and we just did physics. But we could both tell that the other person was having issues not relapsing into old times. Fast forward a few days, and somehow we ended up hanging out. One thing we both love to do is just pick a random road and drive it straight as far as we can, just to see where we end up. I love it because its a great time to think, and I love the feeling of chasing my headlights and trying to catch them. Good metaphor in there somewhere, but Im too lazy to find it right now. Now Im thinking that we might end up getting back together, and I still cant decide if thats a good thing for either of us or not. Oh well, time will tell.
    I also said before that Im currently working as a lifeguard for my local YMCA. Im looking into maybe becomeing a guard/councilor for one of the summer camps the Y hosts during the summer. If that doesnt work out, I might look into some of the BSA(Boy Scout) camps around, and see what kind of aquatic jobs they have to offer.
     
    On to RS related things. Ive just been derping around really, hitting a few monsters with sharp objects and pulling some leaves from my allotments and all that. I think tonight Ill do Legacy of Seergaze, because Im trying to complete that quest line. The quests are all soooooooo stinkin long though and it gets annoying always have to find my way through Meiyerditch(sp). Hopefully Ill get that finished, and maybe Darkness of Hallowvale by the end of the weekend. I guess time will tell with that one too.
     
    Other than that, life is good.

    Let the beasts roam

    Not much has happened since my last entry. Did a few floors of dg, and remembered why I hate it. Or maybe I dont hate the skill, just the people Im stuck with since I hate to dg and must rely on the public worlds. Cant wait for the solo xp increase.
    Been really jamming out to Rise Against lately, and especially after getting into the lyrics, they are more awesome than ever.
     
    Oh, so guess what came today? My retarded horse mask! I said before that I was a child of the Interwebz, and this is the result. So now I have to go on some runs wearing it, and go to random other places with it on as well, just for the lulz.

    Interesting, and super confusing turn of events for me irl. I was scaping last night, and I got up to hit the head before going to bed. As I swung my legs out of bed, i felt a crippling pain in my lower back, close to my spine. I couldnt move and just collapsed to the groud. I laid there for a good hour before the pain diminished enough to get up and climb back into bed. I slept horribly due to the fact that every time I moved pain shot through my entire back. I thought it would go away, or atleast be manageable in the morning and after a nice hot shower. So I went to school for my first class. My back ended up still hurting horribly, so I came home and here I am. It sucks, and I can barely move, but on the bright side, it gives me more scaping time, and I also get more time to finished the homework I loathe doing.
     
    Still confused about what I did to my back, but my dad had something similar a couple weeks ago, and my mom about 4 months ago. None of us know what it is, but it should go away.

    Bump up that base

    No, not the dubstep bass, even though that is always a good thing. Im talking about my base level. I was happy when I finally achieved a base level of 60. I hated doing this, because some of the skills I really hated (thieving and agility). Right now, Im gonna set my goals a little low, at 65 for a base level. After 65, Im gonna go for a base of 70, which is more or less a huge unofficial milestone. I got bored with straight slaying, so this will be a good reprieve. IT also gets me back into herb farming, since I got lazy and slacked off doing runs.

    And so the war begins...

    'Before I tell my tale of the brewing storm, let me give a little bit of info on the dynamics of my cross country team.
     
    We are more or less divided into two groups. The first (and largest) group is what we refer to as "the couples". About half the team is dating someone else on the team, which is rather annoying. MY coach hates it because they never pay attention. Anyway, the couples rarely do anything as a single couple. It always huge group hang outs and what not at various people's houses generally.
     
    The other group, which I proudly belong too, is the singles. Guess what, none of us have a significant other, and we are proud of it. Anyway, we always hang out and make fun of the couples and what not. At team events like dinner and what not, we always make a singles and a couples table since we dont want to deal with all their hanging on each other.
     
    Now to the fun part. We singles generally spend atleast one night a week at one of our houses. When we are hanging out, we enjoy going out and tagging peoples cars and all that. We once forked our assistant coaches yard (with our head coach too). Anyway, since we generally know which house the couples are hanging out at, we can usually get all their cars tagged at once. We did this, as usual last night. But this time, the couples retaliated. They tp'd the house we were staying at. Our response was to collect all the toilet paper, and drive back to the house the couples hung out at last night. This guy is their informal leader, so they are generally hanging out at his house. Now, living in a rather safe city, few of us ever lock our cars. This guy is the same, so we drive over and dumped all the collected toilet paper into his car in the morning.
     
    So, the first shots in a war have been fired. The singles are determined to win this, as we have much more experience in general havoc. The challenge has been issued and accepted, so we shall see where this goes.
    *Note that this war is all in good faith. Both sides really do like each other, we just enjoy messing with each other more, and both sides know better than to cause actual damage to property.

    Day 2

    So, lets see what happened today. IRL, I finished The Lost Hero, which is the first book in the Heros of Olympus series (dont quote me on this, im tired and im not looking at the book). It was a great first book, especially since I love greek mythology. So while I wait for the next two books in the series from amazon, I started The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.
     
    My team also had our cross country banquet today. Being a senior, it was kinda sad to realize it was my last one. My team has been my favorite part of highschool. Most of my best friends are on the team, and its gonna suck to have to leave them all next year.
     
    In game, I didnt do too much today, since I spent alot of time with friends. I finished my waterfiends task and also got through a black demon task. Between the, I got about 250 crimsons, which helped me a ton toward getting 88 summoning. I also got a goulish mask on the SoF, which was my first ever red reward ever.
     
    I think thats it for today.
     
    Oh! I also sketched some plans from my physics teacher for a tennis ball cannon that fires at about 150m/s, or about 1/3 the speed of sound. Gonna be legit.
