At the time of me having posted this, It was basically only my subscribers who answered so no one needed to search for it, the question was presented to them. Although I do believe this poll isn't the most accurate assessment of what the player-base will be after the update, its a pretty clear indicator of VERY large dissatisfaction with the future update. Jagex pretty obviously pushed out an unready and unpolished beta which I believe has scared people in itself, along with changing so many in-game things dramatically all at once. The 3 most-subscribed-to active RS youtubers (nightmarerh, sparc mac, chrisarchie) have all addressed the update negatively which has far-reaching effects. I think its safe to assume at least a 10-15% loss in paying members although more is just as likely.

As many of you know there has been a lot of uproar about the beta and one particular video has been going viral in the youtube community regarding the nostalgia of older RS. There seems to be a large consensus that a VERY considerable number of players intend on quitting when the actual beta goes live. As such I decided to make a poll on my youtube giving users these options: -Yes, I will continue to play regardless. -Yes, I will continue to play but not in the current state of the beta. -No, I will quit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRMIZk1qU2I At the time of this messageboard post, the votes stand as follows: -Yes, I will continue to play regardless. 37 -Yes, I will continue to play but not in the current state of the beta. 17 -No, I will quit. 61 Basically, the number of people claiming they will quit outnumbers the numbers that will stay by a cumulative vote of 61 to 54. How significant do you think this current discontent will be on the actual climate of the game and do you think the player-base will drop significantly?

Just added new vid to OP where I demonstrate all of the new ultimate abilities. Here is a list of the abilities for you guys: ATTACK Overpower Overpower your target, dealing damage equal to 25% of their maximum life points requires 2 attack Massacre Destroy your target, dealing up to 200% of both weapons damage instantly and causing an additional 200% of both weapon's damage over 6 seconds required lvl 66 attack and duel-wielded weapons Meteor Strike Crash down on your target with the force of a meteor, dealing damage equal to 40% of their maximum lifepoints. Only usable on targets with over 50% life points remaining. requires level 81 attack and a two-handed melee weapon STRENGTH Berserk Harness your adrenaline to increase all damage dealt, but also all damage received by 100% for 10 seconds requires level 42 strength Pulverise Pulverise your target, dealing 300% weapon damage and reducing their damage dealt by 25% for 10 seconds requires level 81 strength and a two-handed melee weapon Frenzy Perform a frenzied attack lasting 10 seconds. Targets standing directly in front of you take damage equal to 20% of their maximum lifepoints every 2 seconds. Channelled. Requires 86 strength and duel wielded melee weapons DEFENSE Immortality Become an Immortal! Any damage you receive is reduced by 25% for 30 seconds. If you should die during this period, you will miraculously return to life, however the Immortality effect will be consumed. Requires level 29 defense Rejuvenate Channel your adrenaline to help restore your life points, healing health and drained stats over time. Requires 52 Defense Barricade Summon an impenetrable barricade, which prevents all damage received for 10 seconds. Requires level 81 Defense and a Shield CONSTITUION HAS 2 ABILITIES NO ULTIMATES RANGED Deadshot Boom! Fire a deadly shot at your target which deals 150% weapon damage instantly, and a further 200% weapon damage over 6 seconds. Requires level 2 ranged Incendiary Shot Fire an explosive shot into your target, which will detonate after 3 seconds dealing damage equal to 30% of their maximum life points. Requires level 66 Ranged and a two-handed ranged weapon Unload Unload both your weapons at your target's current location for 6 seconds. Every 2 seconds, all targets standing at that location will take damage equal to 35% of their maximum life points. Channelled.
