i think they should leave it as it is. party hats and masks add something else to runescape - items you can invest in. you think antique dealers are idiots because they buy a chair for a grand? - people like rares as status symbols - the high prices gives people something to aim for - once you can afford rare items of course you're going to try merchant when you can make so much - making them worthless will annoy good players to the point of not playing so why change it?

yeah i was killing guards in ardougne, clicked a tree by mistake without an axe and got a tree spirit. so i suppose it is based on clicks so clicking more should give more chances to get events

i think your char should still be seen, but his dot disappears from the radar this means players will have to be more alert, but can still see the enemy comming when in striking distance
